BARABBAS WAS ME.
I used to wonder why the crowd chose Barabbas… A guilty man. A sinner. A criminal.
Why would they release the one who deserved punishment, and condemn the One who was innocent?
Then it hit my heart.
I AM BARABBAS.
I was the guilty one. I was the sinner. I was the one who deserved judgment.
Yet Jesus stood in my place.
He took the cross that should have been mine. He carried the shame that belonged to me. He suffered the pain that I deserved. He was rejected so I could be accepted. He was bound so I could be free.
That moment was not just history— it was GRACE IN ACTION.
Barabbas walked away free because Jesus stayed. And every one of us who has been forgiven, saved, and redeemed by His mercy is living proof of that same love.
This is the beauty of the Gospel: THE GUILTY WENT FREE BECAUSE THE INNOCENT TOOK HIS PLACE.
So every time I remember Barabbas, I no longer see just a man in the Bible.
I SEE MYSELF. A sinner rescued by mercy. A broken soul redeemed by love. A life saved by the sacrifice of Christ.
Thank You, Jesus, for taking my place on the cross. For loving me at my worst. For setting me free when I deserved chains.

I want to tell you something very strange; you might not believe me.

I cannot remember the last time I asked God for something. I'm telling you and you can even ask my wife. During our prayer time, I've never had a request, asking the Lord to give me a car, a house or anything.

Somebody gave us some money, it was some big money and God asked us to also give it out and we obeyed. After about two or three months, the person came back again with another seed. This time, I think it was twenty thousand dollars, and the Lord also asked us to give it out again.

“But Lord, I and my wife have a plan to put own a down payment to buy a house this year” I asked the Lord and the reply God gave me shocked me. He said “You will live in houses you did not build”

It was in Genesis chapter 22 when Abraham wanted to k i i l his son Issac that God stopped him and said to him: “In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

It was in Genesis chapter 8 when Noah built an altar and sacrificed unto God that God made a covenant never to destroy the world again —Not Prayer!

A prayerful man and a sacrificial man, if you watch their lives, one will have more than the other.

By the way, I get gifts every week. People see me and give me seeds. In a space of three or four months, I have more than my annual salary when I was doing corporate America, from benevolence. And I noticed when it changed!
