[12]While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire?

*HAVING KNOWN THAT THIS MATERIAL WORLD WILL ONE DAY BE DISSOLVED, YOU OUGHT NOT TO LIVE FOR MATERIAL ACQUISITION.
*BUT LIVE A CONSECRATED, DEVOUT AND HOLY LIVING.

[9]The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.

*SOME PEOPLE PREFER SATAN WHEN IT COMES TO QUICK JUDGEMENT.
*THEY HAVE CONCEPTION THAT GOD IS SLOW IN EX*****ON OF JUDGEMENT.
*THE GREATEST ENEMY TO HUMANITY IS SATAN, AND HIS MISSION IS TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY MAN.
*ANYONE CONSULTING SATAN (ARUSI) FOR DESTRUCTION OF HIS FELLOW HUMAN BEING IS A PARTNER WITH HIM AND THEREFORE AN ENEMY TO HUMANITY AND GOD.
*GOD IS EXTRAORDINARILY PATIENT IN HIS JUDGMENT BECAUSE IT IS NOT HIS WILL FOR HIS CHILDREN TO PERISH BUT TO REPENT AND TURN TO HIM.
*GOD IS A LOVELY FATHER WHO NEVER WANT YOU TO PERISH.

*BE REMINDED, THIS PHYSICAL HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL NEVER ESCAPE GOD'S JUDGEMENT BECAUSE OF THE POLLUTIONS IN IT.
*THIS WORLDLY GLORY, WEALTH AND RICHES SHALL BE DESTROYED ALONG WITH THOSE WHO WERE DECEIVED BY THEM.
*SEEK GOD FIRST AND HIS RIGHTEOUS, BUT IF OTHERWISE, THE DEVIL WILL LAY HOLD ON YOUR SOUL WITH THE MUNDANE THINGS OF THIS WORLD.
*DON'T LIVE FOR WORLDLY PLEASURE, BUT LIVE FOR GOD.

[3]To begin with, you must know and understand this, that scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people who] walk after their own fleshly desires
[4]And say, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the forefathers fell asleep, all things have continued exactly as they did from the beginning of creation.

*DO NOT JOIN THE SCOFFERS WHO MOCK THE WAY OF THE LORD AND THE HOPE OF HIS COMING.
*BUT IF YOU ARE A SCOFFER, THEN YOU ARE FULFILLING THE ABOVE SCRIPTURE.
*SCOFFERS MAY LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE A POINT NOW BUT WILL BE PROVEN WRONG AT THE END.
*DON'T BE DECEIVED OR DISTRACTED BY THE MOCKERY OF THE SCOFFERS, JESUS CHRIST IS COMING VERY SOON.

*BELIEVERS ARE FACED WITH MANY CHALLENGES TO THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
*WANTING TO CORRUPT THEIR RIGHTEOUS SOUL WITH THE POLLUTIONS OF THIS WORLD.
*BUT THE LORD KNOWS HOW TO RESCUE THEM OUT OF NUMEROUS TEMPTATIONS AND TRIALS IN THIS WORLD
*HE WILL PRESERVE THE RIGHTEOUS FROM JUDGEMENT AND DOOM THAT WILL SOON COME UPON THE EARTH.
*THEREFORE, DON'T BE WEARIED IN FOLLOWING CHRIST.

*DO NOT BE OVERCAME BY THE POLLUTIONS OF THIS WORLD, AFTER BEING DELIVERED BY KNOWING CHRIST.

*IF YOU BECOME ENTANGLED OR TRAPPED WITH WORLD POLLUTION, YOU MAY LOOK BETTER TO MEN BUT YOU ARE IN WORSE CONDITION.
*REMEMBER! BACKSLIDING IS POSSIBLE AND IT'S DANGEROUS TO BACKSLIDE AFTER KNOWING THE TRUTH.
