THEME: Addressing Marriage Issues
SERMON TITLE: The Power of a Praying Woman in Marriage
SPEAKER: Pastor Chidinma Tasie
Marriage is a divine institution, and sustaining it requires spiritual intelligence. What you do not know, your children will not know—therefore, invest in knowledge. Build capacity through books, learning, and spiritual growth.
From the foundation of Scripture (Genesis 3:15), we understand that the woman carries spiritual responsibility. The wife is the assistant to the watchman and priest of the home. Prayer is not optional; it is a lifestyle.
Praying for your husband is submission to God. It first transforms you before it transforms him. The true purpose of prayer is death to self. In the place of prayer, the Holy Spirit reveals your heart, purifies your soul, and aligns your desires with God’s will. A praying wife creates no space for the enemy.
Whenever there is persistent conflict between spouses, the enemy is subtly stealing (John 10:10). True love flows from the place of prayer, and so does genuine submission. Your prayer as a wife carries covenantal potency (Genesis 2:24). Prayer rekindles love, restores affection, and brings deep fulfillment. Prayer births love, and love fuels prayer—a continuous cycle.
Before marriage, receive and cultivate a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit. Marry someone with an active walk with God. The ultimate love language is prayer. Redirect your expectations to God, not your spouse (Proverbs 23:18).
STRATEGIC AREAS TO COVER YOUR HUSBAND IN PRAYER

2. His finances (Proverbs 10:22)

10. His protection (Isaiah 54:17)
MARRIAGE KILLERS TO GUARD AGAINST

Sin will keep you from praying, but praying will keep you from sinning.
May every woman rise to her prophetic and priestly role in marriage, building homes anchored in prayer, strengthened in love, and fortified against every scheme of the enemy.
