DIOCESE OF NIGER EAST PRAYER SUMMIT, MMIATA 2026:
“With God All Things Are Possible”

The Diocese of Niger East successfully hosted the Prayer Summit, Mmiata 2026, a spiritually enriching gathering that ran from Thursday, 22nd January to Sunday, 25th January 2026, culminating in a glorious Thanksgiving Service. Anchored on the powerful theme, “With God All Things Are Possible”, the summit was a profound encounter marked by prayer, teaching, worship, and undeniable testimonies of God’s mighty hand.

The summit commenced on Thursday with impactful ministrations by Ven. Clement Omachonu and Lady Evangelist Dora Ugwudike, who charged the atmosphere with faith, calling God’s people to deeper trust, obedience, and total dependence on divine possibilities.

Activities continued on Friday with a rich blend of the Word and prayer as the summit was graced by the ministration of the Diocesan Bishop, The Rt. Revd. Dr. Obiora Uzochukwu, alongside Lady Evangelist Dora Ugwudike and Evangelist Joshua Chukwujekwu. The day featured Bible studies, seminars addressing diverse areas of human and spiritual needs, and intense prayer sessions, equipping participants for victorious Christian living.

Saturday began on a spiritually charged note with early-morning group prayers, followed by insightful Bible studies. A significant highlight of the day was the land deliverance session led by Evangelist Geoffrey Anyacho, a moment of deep intercession and prophetic action. This was followed by a powerful ministration from Pastor Israel Okokoni, and the day was gloriously capped with a vibrant Hallelujah Night, celebrating God’s presence and power.

The summit reached its grand finale on Sunday with a Thanksgiving Anointing Service with Holy Eucharist, as hearts overflowed with gratitude to God for a truly successful program. The 2026 Prayer Summit recorded numerous testimonies, including divine healing, supernatural provision, deliverance from fire outbreaks, and the preservation of lives. Indeed, God once again proved Himself faithful, reaffirming that He is still in the business of visiting His people, for His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those who seek Him with a perfect heart.

The Diocese deeply appreciates the visionary leadership of The Bishop, The Rt. Revd. Dr. Obiora Uzochukwu, and Mama Niger East, Engr. Mrs. Chizoba Uzochukwu, for their unwavering support and spiritual covering. Special gratitude goes to the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Revd. Can. Christian Chukwuemeka, and his indefatigable team for their sacrifice and commitment to excellence.

We also sincerely thank the Vicar, Revd. Can. Tochukwu Eze, St. Andrew’s Parish, Mmiata, the entire Mmiata Archdeaconry, and the Mmiata community for their warm hospitality. Our appreciation equally extends to Evangelist Geoffrey Anyacho and his prayer team for their great labour of love in prayer, intercession, and material and financial support. The Diocese also acknowledges the generous support of the Diocese on the Niger for providing vehicles that conveyed participants to and from the program, may you not lose your reward.

Truly, the Diocese of Niger East is growing from strength to strength. The light is shining brighter and brighter, and the gates of hell shall not prevail. All glory, honour, and praise belong to Jesus Christ, who has made all things beautiful in His time.
