Joy and gladness will not seize in my house.
For my shame I shall receive double.
My steps are ordered by the Lord.

I don't fail.

My day is confirmed blessed.
Amen.

TUESDAY, 26/05/26
TOPIC: ACCEPTABLE STEWARDSHIP -PART 83
TEXT: Hebrews 12:28 "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which can not be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”,

Acceptable stewardship is receiving a “Well done” from the Lord.
That is the ultimate goal of stewardship.
Not applause from men, not visibility, not popularity, but approval from God.

This is why stewardship is serious.
Because one day, every steward will stand before the Lord concerning what was committed into their hands.

Time, Assignment, Influence, Resources, People, Opportunities.

Matthew 25:21
"His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant… thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

In this Scripture, the master did not commend the servant for being gifted. He commended him for being faithful.

"Thou good and faithful servant."

Faithfulness is the language of acceptable stewardship.
The ability to consistently follow through on what heaven committed into your hands.

Greatness in the kingdom is built through consistent stewardship.

The servant in Matthew 25 did not despise the “few things.”
He handled small responsibility with seriousness.
And this is one of the greatest tests of stewardship.
How you handle little things.
Little instructions, little assignments, little opportunities to serve.
Because stewardship is proven before it is promoted.

This is why many people desire “many things,” but are careless with the “few things” already in their hands.
Yet Jesus shows us that increase follows faithfulness.
"Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things."

Notice that promotion in the kingdom is not first a reward for ambition, rather it is a response to faithfulness.

This was the life of Jesus Himself.
The Bible says in Hebrews 3:5-6 that Moses was faithful as a servant in God’s house, but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house.

Jesus fulfilled completely everything the Father committed into His hands.
He did not abandon the assignment halfway.
He did not withdraw because of suffering.
He did not become distracted by the systems of this world.
He remained faithful unto death.

This is why Philippians 2:8-9 says "He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him…"

This is the sequence:
-Faithfulness first.
-Exaltation after.

But many people want elevation without consistent stewardship.
But heaven does not commit “many things” to unfaithful hands.

A wise steward understands that every day is an opportunity to prove faithful, every instruction matters, every act of obedience matters, every moment of consistency matters.

Because stewardship is not just about beginning the race, it is about finishing in a way that pleases the Lord.

And at the end of it all, nothing will compare to hearing "Well done."

I'm sure this helped!

PRAYER: DEAR FATHER, HELP ME TO LIVE WITH THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF MY STEWARDSHIP. TEACH ME TO BE FAITHFUL IN EVERYTHING YOU HAVE COMMITTED INTO MY HANDS. MAY I NOT BE DISTRACTED, CARELESS, OR WEARY IN MY ASSIGNMENT. HELP ME TO SERVE YOU WITH LOVE, CONSISTENCY, AND ENDURANCE UNTIL I FINISH MY COURSE WELL.

AMEN!

WISDOM FOR LIVING SERVICE SUMMARY
TOPIC: GREAT JOY
TEXT: PSALM 43:3-4
PREACHER: PASTOR ARINZE RICHARD

Psalm 43:3-4
3 - O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4 - Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

Our joy is not pegged on things, our joy is in our knowledge of God being our exceeding Joy.

FACTS ABOUT JOY CONTINUES
1. Joy transcends the circumstances and challenges of life.
Joy is present irrespective of what you are going through.

Philippines 3:1- Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Philip 4:4- Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Apostle Paul made joy a way of life.

James 1:2-3
2- My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 - Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Your respond to everything life throws at you is joy.
Your joy is your only hope in storms of life.
Your rejoicing is the only revelation to finding yourself in the midst of sorrow.
When joy is present revelation is present.
You are immovable because the joy of the Lord produces strength in you.
Where there is no joy, strength is lacking.
Find a way to always rejoice in the midst of the people who always want to see you moody.

The environment that gives you access to creativity, inspiration and revelation is connected to rejoicing.
Christianity is not a call to impress God but a call to express God.
Everything the devil is throwing at you is targeting your joy.
When your joy is attacked, focus and inspirations dies.

Habk 3:17-18
17 - Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 - Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Our rejoicing is in the Lord.
When you don't rejoice, you make it impossible for inspiration to flow. By all means, stay around people that are joyful. Joy is spiritual. Joy has expression.

Numbers 23:21 NLT- No misfortune is in his plan for Jacob; no trouble is in store for Israel. For the LORD their God is with them; he has been proclaimed their king.

Joyful expression comes with a shout. And one of the things you must do always is shouting.
One of the things that sustain joy is expression.

Ephesians 5:18-19
18 - And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 - Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Psalm 2:1-4
1 - Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 - The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 - Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 - He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

When you find people who are rejoicing, the result is in their laughter.

Luke 1:46-48
46 - And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 - And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 - For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

An expression of joy is what happens in your heart.
Joy helps you to be a people person. The presence of the Lord command rejoicing.

Psalm 122:1- Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

One of the way David expressed his joy is that he danced until he forgot his status.

2 Sam 6:14-23 NKJV
[14]Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.
[15]So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
[16]Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.
[17]So they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.
[18]And when David had finished offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts.
[19]Then he distributed among all the people, among the whole multitude of Israel, both the women and the men, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins. So all the people departed, everyone to his house.
[20]Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”
[21]So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord.
[22]And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.”
[23]Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

Psalm 119:164- Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and is safe.

Let this song remind you that you're preserved under a strong tower.
Therefore, declare that no evil is permitted into your life this week.

MONDAY, 25/05/26
TOPIC: ACCEPTABLE STEWARDSHIP -PART 82
TEXT: Hebrews 12:28 "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which can not be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”,

Acceptable Stewardship is a stewardship is measured by love
You must trust God for your love to be restored again.

We saw how Jesus met Peter after he has gone back to fishing.
In John 21:15 "So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs."

Jesus is showing Peter, “Before I trust you with responsibility, I must be sure of your love.”

Then Paul later confirms the same truth in 1 Corinthians 13:2 "And if I were to have the gift of prophecy with a profound understanding of God’s hidden secrets, and if I possessed unending supernatural knowledge, and if I had the greatest gift of faith that could move mountains, but have never learned to love, then I am nothing."

On the scale of stewardship, a man can do mighty things and still be weighed as nothing if he lacks love.

This means you can function in gifts and still have an unprofitable stewardship.
Even if you can sing down the heaven or blow up the Earth with your voice, yet your voice has no economic value before God, if you lack love.

Gift can impress men, but love is what pleases God.
Love prevents self-centred stewardship.

The purpose of stewardship of any gift of God is for others.
Jesus said to Peter, "feed my sheep."
Paul said to the Galatians church, "serve one another."
Peter wrote in 1 Peter 4:10 "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."

As a steward, you must understand that “your life is an offering."
So you use your strength, time, resources to serve others.
And Scripture says God never forgets that kind of stewardship.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

I'm sure this helped!

PRAYER: DEAR FATHER, HELP ME TO LOVE YOU MORE. MAY MY LOVE FOR YOU AND OTHERS GROW DEEPLY. MAY I NEVER BECOME A STEWARD WHO FUNCTIONS IN GIFTS BUT LACKS LOVE.

AMEN!

The handshake is more than greeting.
It is a picture of fellowship, unity, and shared faith.

Church was never designed to be a place we merely attend.
It is a spiritual family where hearts connect, lives are strengthened, and people grow together in Christ.

One handshake can carry encouragement.
One smile can restore hope.
One moment of genuine connection can remind someone they are not alone.

We are stronger together. 🤝

We see life break people every day--neighbours , family members, friends, colleagues, strangers. Because adversity is a part of human existence.

But the difference between those who were destroyed by adversity and those who walked out of adversity, is their level of strength.

Proverbs 24:10 says, "If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small."

The question is not if you'll experience adversity, but how do you prepare to face the adverse conditions of life?

👉Psalm 84:7 "They will grow constantly in strength, ... each of them is invited to meet with the Lord in Zion.

Tomorrow is another day to grow in strength.

Be part of our two highly impactful services @ 7:30am and 9:00 respectively.

You're in for the best.
See you in Church.
