Prayer Sections ~ NOBLE IMPACT GOSPEL CENTER.
Jude 1:20-21
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
It’s a call to be intentional about spiritual growth. Not passive, but actively strengthening what you believe.
3 ways people usually "build up" in that context:
1. Root deeper in the Word
Your "most holy faith" has content — the teachings of Christ, the promises of God. Studying, meditating, and memorizing scripture is like laying more rebar in your foundation.
2. Pray in the Holy Spirit
Jude ties the building directly to Spirit-led prayer. That means prayer that’s surrendered, honest, and guided — not just routine. It’s where faith goes from head knowledge to lived dependence.
3. Stay in community + love
Verse 21 says "keep yourselves in the love of God." Isolation weakens faith. Fellowship, accountability, and serving others keep it strong and tested.
Think of it like spiritual weightlifting: you don’t get stronger by accident. You show up, do the reps, and trust the Spirit for the growth
