TOPIC: IT WON'T BE LONG

BIBLE READING:
ISAIAH 40:28-31
28 Hast thou not known hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary there is no searching of his understanding.29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

KEY VERSE:
He who calls you is faithful, who will do it.1 Thessalonians 5:24

MEDITATION:
I was driving in a slow traffic one cool evening back home. Suddenly, I heard a shout, "for how long o Lord." I was touched and I looked towards the direction of the voice. It was a young man struggling to lift a heavy load into a broken-down commercial bus that was just repaired. Then I drove closer and said to him, "brother, it won't be long any more". He said “amen” as he got back on the bus with a smile. Though, prolonged delay in achieving desired goals may trigger unpleasant reactions, but be strong and be courageous. “Hold fast the confession of your hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." (Hebrews 10:23). Hebrews 6:12 says: “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Abraham in Genesis 22, took his only son Isaac to be offered as a sacrifice as instructed by God. At a point, Isaac asked his father, "the fire and wood are here but where is the lamb for the sacrifice” Abraham answered in verse 8, “God Himself will provide.” Indeed, God provided a ram in place of Isaac. "For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, It will not tarry." (Habakkuk 2:3). How long have you been trusting God for a need?

PRAYER:
Father Lord, please grant me the grace to wait patiently for your promise.

This is my condition at the moment.

This is what everyone has been saying to me ever since I got married!

It's not so easy to just get pregnant, even with how much you try, it's just not easy.
The advice, criticism, and everything from people.

My mother-in-law wants grandkids.

My friends use the term "You won't understand until you have a child." I know they're not saying it because they want to shame me, but it gets to me.

Or outsiders? They think I want to work 8-5 all my life; they feel I don't love children because I have a well-paying work.

The priest won't stop preaching, "Children are a heritage of the lord," and "God answers every prayer except the prayer of sinners." makes me feel like I am the worst sinner because God has refused to answer my prayer and give me a child.

Did I forget to tell you I am the kid's Sunday school teacher? Yes, I take good care of them and get remarks like, "Get children as soon as possible, you'll make a good mom" but how? How do I do it?

I wasn't wayward, I watch my wayward friends go for family planning now because the house is filled with kids.

I decided to stop caring, and I am happier.
I still pray for a child but I'm not going to waste my life grieving or thinking about children that will still come.

I am going to praise and trust God.

I know I'll be a mom one day but I am going to enjoy my life and not obsess by the toilet every thirty minutes of a time in a month waiting for a positive line.

I'll trust God and let him do His will.

The Holy Spirit told me a story.
As I was preparing for church,
That tiniest but firm voice spoke.

A lady went to market, people were laughing at her, because she bleached her body, and the side effects was obvious.

But a man among the marketers called her, MY COLOR, come and buy from me, the she went to his shop and bought from him.

Then He asked me, why's it difficult, to win souls for Christ?

He said because,we make the people uncomfortable, by not showing them the love of Christ first.

Don't preach to someone, according to their appearance.
