THE SIGNIFICANT OF CHRIST RESURRECTION

Main Text: Matthew 28:5–6

Supporting Texts: Luke 24:6–7, 1 Corinthians 15:20, Romans 6:9

1. INTRODUCTION

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith. Without it, Christianity would be empty—but because He lives, our faith is alive and powerful.

The Holy Bible declares:

“He is not here: for He is risen…”

The resurrection is not just an event; it is the greatest victory in history.

2. WHAT IS THE RESURRECTION?

The resurrection is the supernatural rising of Jesus Christ from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion.

Key Truths:

He truly died

He was buried

He rose again bodily

He lives forever

3. WHY THE RESURRECTION MATTERS

A. It Confirms Jesus as the Son of God

Romans 1:4 — Declared with power by the resurrection.

B. It Guarantees Our Justification

Romans 4:25 — He was raised for our justification.

Because He rose, we are declared righteous.

C. It Gives Us Victory Over Death

1 Corinthians 15:55–57

Death has lost its sting because Jesus Christ is alive.

VICTORY IS ASSURANCE TO ALL THE REDEEMED

1. INTRODUCTION
Victory is not a promise for tomorrow; it is a present inheritance for the redeemed.
According to the Holy Bible, redemption guarantees triumph. If you are in Jesus Christ, defeat is illegal in your life.

2. WHO ARE THE REDEEMED?

Definition:
The redeemed are those purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ and delivered from the kingdom of darkness.

Characteristics of the Redeemed:
> Born again (John 3:3)
> Washed by the blood (Ephesians 1:7)
> Separated unto God
> Walking in covenant with God
> Redemption is not religion; it is a divine transaction.

3. WHY VICTORY IS ASSURED

A. Because Christ Already Won the Battle
Colossians 2:15 — He disarmed principalities and powers.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is proof that victory is settled.
We fight from victory, not for victory.

B. Because the Word Cannot Fail

The Holy Bible declares:
“In all these things we are more than conquerors.”
If God said it, no devil can reverse it.

C. Because of the Greater One Within
1 John 4:4 — Greater is He that is in you.

The Spirit inside you is stronger than the battles around you.

4. AREAS OF ASSURED VICTORY
Victory over sin
Victory over sickness
Victory over fear
Victory over stagnation
Victory over generational limitations
Victory over spiritual opposition
Your background does not determine your outcome — your redemption does.

5. HOW TO WALK IN PRACTICAL VICTORY

1. Have Strong Faith
Faith activates redemption benefits.
2. Speak the Word
Your mouth determines your manifestation.
3. Live in Obedience, disobedience delays manifestation.
4. Maintain Prayer Fire. Prayer enforces victory.
5. Refuse Defeat in Your Mind. Victory starts in your thinking.

THE TRUE CONCEPTION OF LEADERSHIP

Leadership Is Not an Idea but a Spirit
Leadership is often misunderstood as a position, a title, or a clever idea. Many think leadership is learned only from books, seminars, or strategies. While ideas can inform leadership, true leadership is not an idea—it is a spirit.

An idea can be taught, copied, or abandoned. But a spirit is caught, carried, and manifested.

Leadership that is rooted only in ideas fades when pressure comes.

Leadership that flows from the right spirit stands firm in adversity and produces lasting impact.

1. Leadership Is a Spirit Before It Is a Skill
Skills can be trained, but spirit must be cultivated. David did not become a leader because he had a crown; he led because the Spirit of the Lord came upon him (1 Samuel 16:13). Before he ruled a nation, he carried a shepherd’s spirit—responsibility, courage, and sacrifice.

A man may know leadership principles yet lack leadership authority. Authority comes from the spirit a person carries, not from what they say.

2. The Spirit of Leadership Produces Influence
Ideas persuade, but spirit influences. People may listen to your ideas, but they follow your spirit. When Moses spoke, Israel followed—not because he had better ideas than Egypt - but because he carried the spirit of divine leadership.
The Bible says, “If the spirit of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your post” (Ecclesiastes 10:4). This shows that leadership operates in the realm of the spirit.

3. Leadership Spirit Is Revealed Under Pressure
Ideas work in comfort; spirit works in crisis. When challenges arise, titles collapse, but spirit speaks. Nehemiah did not just propose rebuilding the wall—he carried a spirit of burden, prayer, and action. That spirit stirred the people to rise and build.
When pressure comes, what you truly carry will be revealed.

4. Leadership Spirit Is Transferred, Not Taught
Elijah did not give Elisha leadership notes; he released a double portion of his spirit.

Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith, it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

Beloved, God is unlimited in power, unlimited in wisdom, and unlimited in ability. There is nothing God cannot do. However, many times, what God can do is not what people experience. Why? Because God’s power responds to faith.
The truth is this:

👉 Whatever God can do, faith can make it happen.

God has never failed, but faith is the channel through which His power flows into our lives.

“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power… there is nothing too hard for thee.”

God can heal any sickness.
God can lift any destiny.
God can open any closed door.

The problem has never been God’s ability. The challenge has always been human belief.

If you can believe it, you can receive it.

a. The Woman with the Issue of Blood (Mark 5:25–34)
She said, “If I may but touch His clothes, I shall be whole.”

Her faith spoke before her miracle came. Jesus said, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole.”

👉 God had healing power, but faith pulled it out.
