Building Your Confidence in God Because Your Future Is Secure
Main Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11
Supporting Scriptures: Psalm 37:23–24; Romans 8:28; Proverbs 3:5–6; Philippians 1:6
Introduction
Life can sometimes bring situations that make us afraid, discouraged, or uncertain about tomorrow. We may not know what the future holds, but as children of God, we can have confidence in the One who holds the future.
When God has spoken concerning your life, the opinion of people, present circumstances, or temporary challenges cannot cancel His purpose. God has the final verdict upon your life.
1. God Has a Purpose for Your Life
Jeremiah 29:11 says:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God does not create a life without purpose. Even when you cannot understand what He is doing, God already knows where He is taking you.
Lesson: Do not judge your future by your present situation. God sees the complete picture.

2. Build Your Confidence in God
Proverbs 3:5–6 teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not depend entirely on our own understanding.
Confidence in God means:
Trusting Him when you do not have all the answers.
Believing His Word above negative voices.
Continuing to pray when the answer seems delayed.
Refusing to allow fear to control your decisions.
Knowing that God is faithful.
Your confidence should not be based on your strength, money, position, or human connections. Your confidence should be rooted in God.

3. Your Present Situation Is Not Your Final Verdict
Sometimes people look at failure, disappointment, rejection, or delay and conclude that their lives are finished.
But Psalm 37:23–24 reminds us that although a righteous person may fall, the Lord upholds them.
A difficult season is not necessarily a defeated life.
Do not allow today's struggle to write tomorrow's story. Let God have the final word.

Our responsibility is not only on childbearing rather God gave us those children to raise them on Godly paths. Gen 18:19[ God said concerning Abraham: For I know him, that he will command his children and household after him, and they shall keep the way of the lord]

It's a shame to some Christians who push their children to church while they remain a church truancy. Such act will not encourage those children to be productive in the house of God but rather be a burden to the pastor.

Parents should carry along their children in the act of serving God so that when they grew, they wouldn't depart from it.

THE HOLY GHOST AND HIS POWER

The Holy Ghost (also called the Holy Spirit) is the third Person of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is not merely a force or influence; He is God, sent to dwell in and empower believers.

1. The Promise of the Holy Ghost
Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He promised to send the Holy Spirit.
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witPerform signs and miracles according to God's will (Marknesses unto me..." — Acts 1:8 (KJV)

2. The Power of the Holy Ghost
The Holy Ghost gives believers power to:
Live a holy life (Romans 8:13)
Witness boldly for Christ (Acts 4:31)
16:17–18)
Overcome sin and temptation (Galatians 5:16)
Pray effectively, even when words fail (Romans 8:26)
Understand God's Word (John 16:13)

3. The Fruit of the Holy Spirit
His power is also seen in a transformed character.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance..." — Galatians 5:22–23

4. How to Receive the Holy Ghost
Repent and believe in Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).
Desire and ask God in faith (Luke 11:13).
Spend time in prayer, worship, and obedience to God's Word.

Conclusion
The Holy Ghost is God's presence living in every believer. His power enables Christians to live victoriously, serve faithfully, and glorify Christ. Without the Holy Spirit, Christian living is difficult; with Him, all things become possible according to God's will.

I AM NOT ALONE, THE LORD IS WITH ME

Anchor Text: Isaiah 41:10

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Introduction

Life sometimes brings trials, loneliness, disappointment, and uncertainty. There are moments when we may feel abandoned by people, but God assures His children that they are never alone. His presence is our confidence, strength, and victory.

1. God's Presence Removes Fear
Scriptures: Isaiah 41:10; Joshua 1:9

Wherever God is present, fear loses its power. God commanded Joshua to be courageous because He would be with him wherever he went. As believers, we can face every challenge with confidence because the Lord goes before us.

2. God Is Our Ever-Present Helper
Scriptures: Psalm 46:1; Hebrews 13:5-6

God is not a distant God. He is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. His promise is clear: "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

3. Jesus Promised to Be With His Church Always
Scripture: Matthew 28:20
Before ascending into heaven, Jesus assured His disciples that He would be with them always, even to the end of the age. His presence remains with every believer through the Holy Spirit.

4. God's Presence Gives Victory
Scriptures: Romans 8:31; Psalm 23:4

When God is with us, no enemy can ultimately prevail against us. Even when we walk through difficult seasons, we do not need to fear because the Lord walks with us.

How to Enjoy God's Presence:

1. Live in obedience to God's Word.
2. Maintain a consistent prayer life.
3. Study and meditate on the Scriptures daily.
4. Worship God sincerely.
5. Walk by faith and trust in His promises.

Conclusion
No matter what you are facing today, remember that you are not alone. God is with you in every battle, every trial, and every season of life. His presence is your assurance of peace, protection, strength, and victory.
