ISA 40 : 8 says
The grass withered, the flower faded, but the word of God shall stand for ever
Why does peter compare people to grass and flowers that fade in Colo 3: 12 -17
He became aware of two things that there are things that are temporary and things that are permanent in life
1, The grass and flowers are temporary
2, They spring up one moment and fade away in another
The Only thing that lives and stands forever is the word of God, This verse is a reminder of the unchanging and eternal nature of God word
What lesson we can lean from ISA 40 : 8
1, It remind us that every thing in life is temporary but God word stand forever, Let this devotional anchor your faith in what never fade,The grass withers the flower fades , but the word of God stand forever ,The world is always changing, but His word, i mean God's word never change under any circumstances
