MINISTERING: REV. Emmanuel Patrick Undie
TOPIC: THE NEW COVENANT: ITS REALITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
READING TEXTS: Hebrews 8:6
Luke 22:20

The New Covenant is not an improvement of the old; it is a replacement.

WHAT IS THE NEW COVENANT?
The New Covenant is God’s agreement with humanity through Jesus Christ, established on grace and sealed by His blood.
Hebrews 8:6. Luke 22:20.

The Old Covenant was based on human obedience; the New Covenant is based on Christ’s obedience.

Declaration:
I live under a better covenant.

WHAT THE NEW COVENANT PROVIDES
•Complete Forgiveness
Hebrews 10:17
•Forgiveness in the New Covenant is final, not temporary.
•A New Heart and Inner Transformation
Hebrews 8:10
•God does not just change our behavior; He changes our hearts.
•Direct Access to God
Hebrews 10:19
•In the New Covenant, access is a right, not a reward.

Declaration:
I have access to God by the blood of Jesus.

WHAT THE NEW COVENANT DOES NOT MEAN
•It Does Not Mean Lawlessness.
Romans 6:15
•Grace does not excuse sin; grace empowers obedience.
•It Does Not Remove Responsibility
Titus 2:11-12
•Grace teaches us how to live.
•In the New Covenant, obedience flows from relationship, not fear.

OUR RESPONSE TO THE NEW COVENANT
•Faith in Christ’s Finished Work
Hebrews 4:2
•Gratitude and Worship
Colossians 2:6-7
•Walking in New Identity
2 Corinthians 5:17

We don’t try to become new; we live from who we already are.

•The Old Covenant exposed the problem.
•The New Covenant provides the solution Jesus.

PHOTO EXCERPT FROM SUNDAY SERVICE
Ministering: REV. Emmanuel Patrick Undie
Topic: UNDERSTANDING THE COVENANT: PT1
Texts: Hebrews 8:6

WHAT IS A COVENANT?
A covenant is a serious, binding agreement that establishes a relationship with responsibilities and benefits.

PROMISE vs COVENANT
A promise is like saying, I will help you tomorrow.

A covenant is like signing a legal document with witnesses and consequences.

DIFFERENCES:
A promise depends on feelings
A covenant is binding and sealed

God did not just promise salvation, He entered covenant. Hebrews 6:17-18.
God initiated covenant with us through Christ.
Genesis 15:18 | Luke 22:20

WHAT A COVENANT MEANS (BETWEEN GOD AND HIS PEOPLE)
A covenant between God and His people is a divinely initiated relationship in which God commits Himself to a people, defines their identity, and establishes how they relate with Him. Genesis 17:7

WHAT THIS MEANS PRACTICALLY
God Takes The Initiative. Covenant with God is not negotiated, it is initiated by God.
Genesis 15:17-18
•God alone walked through the covenant.
•God does not enter covenant as a negotiator, but as a giver.

God Defines The Relationship
•Covenant establishes belonging, not just blessing. Exodus 6:7.
Before God gives us things, He gives us Himself.

God Commits to Faithfulness
•Covenant means God binds His faithfulness to His word. Psalm 105:8.
God can not deny His covenant without denying Himself.

Our Response Is Faith and Obedience
•In covenant, obedience is response, not qualification. Hebrews 8:10

WHY GOD WORKS THROUGH COVENANT
Psalm 105:8-10

Covenant Creates Access
Hebrews 10:19.
We have bold access to God by the blood of Jesus.

Covenant Creates Identity
Genesis 17:7.
God establishes covenant to be our God and define who we are.

Covenant Guarantees Inheritance
Galatians 3:29.
If we are Christ’s, we are heirs according to the promise.

EXAMPLES OF COVENANT IN SCRIPTURE
•Noah, Covenant of Protection.
Genesis 9:11
God promised preservation and protection of life.
•Abraham, Covenant of Blessing.
Genesis 12:2-3
God promised blessing, multiplication, and impact.
•David, Covenant of Kingship
2 Samuel 7:12-16.
God promised an everlasting throne and legacy.

NB:
Every covenant carries a promise backed by God’s faithfulness.

It was All Glitz And Glams 🔥🔥
PHOTO EXCERPTS FROM THE CONCLUDED RETIREMENT SERVICE.

Yesterday, We CGMI Omoku Zonal HQ. - City of Grace gathered in thanksgiving to celebrate a remarkable milestone and the successful retirement and thanksgiving service of Rev. Sunday Oseviwevive Emuraye, marking 27 faithful years of dedicated service in Company Ltd.

It was a powerful moment of praise, reflection, and heartfelt gratitude as family, friends, colleagues, and the body of Christ at large came together to honour a life of commitment, integrity, and selfless service. The atmosphere was filled with great joy, testimonies, and sincere appreciation for a journey well spent.

We thank God for strength, wisdom, and grace throughout the years, and we celebrate this new season of rest, fulfillment, and greater exploits.

Sir, your labour was not in vain.
May the years ahead be richer in peace, health, and divine rewards.
To God alone be all the glory!

Ministering: Rev Mrs. Rhoda Emmanuel

Topic: Be Intentional and Conscious About Our Identify In Christ.
Texts: Rom. 3:23, 2corith 5:17. Gal. 3:13

Gen 1:1-3
God started creation be creating light first, and then other things and man lastly to enjoy it all.

TO BE INTENTIONAL: Anything done on purpose, deliberately and to be guided by goals and value. As Christians, we must be Conscious of our identity in Christ and become intentional about our lives, actions, dressing and alterances.

THE THINGS TO BE CONSCIOUS FOR AS A CHRISTIAN.
•You're a chosen generation.

When you give your life to christ, you become specially secluded to enjoy the fullness of the power and life of God. ( As Jesus is, so am I) As a result of this repentance, power to thread upon all evil on earth and beneath. Therefore.

Galatians 3:13 Christ, after his death, burial, and resurrection, He gave every believer the key to all doors to advance our lives unto eternity. Being conscious of who we are transcends to the way we take care of ourselves and the way we do our jobs. Do everything extraordinarily/excellently. Try to be better than who you are now.

Just as Jesus will say" what I hear my father say is what I will do" this is how christians should live their lives - do and live according to the dictates and direction of the holy spirit. Don't be told who you are : be intentional of your identity in Christ.

Gal 2:20, Romans 3:23, 2Corinth5:17
Be conscious about what you know and be ready to put it into practice. Be intentional about who you are in Christ and take advantage of this renewed person you are through the death, burisl and resurrection of Christ.
Many christians still live their lives as if they have never met Christ before.

Today We the CGMI CITY OF GRACE Celebrates Our Own Mother In Israel😊.

May heaven write kindness into your days, and stitch joy gently into your nights.

May grace walk before you, and mercy follow in every step you take.

Photo Excerpts From Our Sunday Service

Ministering: Emmanuel Patrick Undie
TOPIC: The Necessity Of Fasting and Prayers For Greater Impact

1. WHY FASTING AND PRAYER IS NECESSARY

•Every believer desires impact, but impact does not happen by wish; it happens by spiritual alignment.”
Matthew 17:21
“This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
•There are levels of results that only fasting and prayer can produce.

2. WHAT IS FAST I NG AND PRAYER

•Prayer is communicating with God.
•Fasting is deliberately denying the flesh to heighten spiritual sensitivity.

•Fasting is not hunger strike, but spiritual focus.
Joel 2:12

3. THREE POINTS WHY FAST I NG AND PRAYER IS NECESSARY FOR GREATER IMPACT:

(1) It Subdues the Flesh and Amplifies the Spirit
Galatians 5:17
•Flesh competes with the Spirit.
•Many believers pray but are still controlled by the flesh.
•Fasting weakens fleshly dominance.

(2) It Releases Spiritual Authority
Luke 4:14
Power followed fasting.
You don’t command impact by title; you command it by spiritual power.

(3) It Breaks Spiritual Resistance
Daniel 10:2–3, 12–13
Daniel fasted, answers were released, resistance was broken.

1st SUNDAY 2026
Ministering: Rev. Emmanuel Patrick Undie
Topic: LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP

1. Luke 5:1-7. Jesus spoke these words after the season of emptiness to mark the new beginnings.

2. Make your boat available: this miracle didn't start when he spoke the word, it started when Jesus entered the boat.

As long as christ is in the boat, miracle is already happening. It may not be evident immediately but it was certain.
Before you launch out (do anything), let Jesus be at the center of your life. Let him know all you do.

Success is not about effort but your obedience to christ. ( Peter said at thy word, I will launch)
The deep is not a place of fear when Jesus is available. When Jesus is there, it doesn't mean storm will not come, it means you will be saved from it.

Don't do His own and leave your own. It is his responsibility to take care of the storm. Your responsibility is to be committed to God.
In the word of God is the ability to create the miracle.

There is a word of God to every experience/ challenges of life: look for the word, use it against the situation.

If you stay in a place where you are familiar, the new year becomes the same as the old year. TAKE THAT RISK, ENTER THAT UNFAMILIAR TERRAIN. The deep represent new levels, new assignment, new grace, new place, The deep talks about new faith, New opportunities.

The miracle reveals the identity of Christ
Sowing seeds is good but following God is most important because sowing seeds without following (God ) gives no result.
