TWO MAJOR IDEAS BEHIND THANKSGIVING.
1. Expression of profound gratitude. Looking at the future. Giving thanks for what God will do.
2.Reflection on abondance. Looking at the success and achievement. Giving thanks of what God has ddone. Giving thanks for what God done.

TOPIC : Focus on Christ For His Immeasurable Love and Financial Provision.

>>>To focus means to give undivided attention, be attentive, concentrating your attention towards a particular direction or something.

To focus on Christ means to focus on the word of God. The disciples focused on Christ hence behaved like Christ and were called christians for the first time.

David said they word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against you.
in Christ there is fullness of love.

>>>Immeasurable love of God means the love has no bounds and limits. God is not looking for you a sinner to kill or do you evil hence the bible says for God so love the world that he gave his only son.
Romans 5:8= Even in our sins, God gave Christ to die for us.

>>>Financial provision proverbs 10;22
it is only the gift of God that adds no sorrow. it is better to work genuinely because it gives results that last without sorrow.

When you are grateful to God it brings financial provision.
when you thank God, he enters your matter. Deut 8:18
Luke 12:21 2corinth 9:10

everyday of your life, learn to sow seed and eat the bread. It is not just financial seed sowing. it goes into rendering genuine services, being hospitable, being diligent at your work place.

WHO IS A CHRISTIAN?
>> A Christian is one who has been discipled to show the teachings of Christ. Acts 11:26
One who is following after the path of Christ, who on daily basis is adjusting to be like Christ.

>> A Christian is one who believe in the teaching of Christ. Acts 26:28. One who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord. Rom. 10:9-10.

WHO IS CARNAL?
•Carnal is flesh. Its about the five (5) senses. The things that one can feel, see and touch. Basically, carnal of the physical appearance.

WHO IS CARNAL CHRISTIAN?
>> A carnal Christian is a believer who lives according to their fleshly desires rather than the spirit. A carnal Christian is one who believes in Christ but still live by the five (5) senses.

>> A carnal Christian relates with you based on your appearance, money, influence and how people project their selves to be more holier. They lack discernment.

They judge things by what they sees, hears and thinks. They never align themselves with the word of God. Rom. 8:5

>> A carnal Christian is one who is neither grateful or thankful. They're literally dead to things of the spirit.

ATTITUDES OF A CARNAL CHRISTIAN:
•A believes that refuse to grow. 1Corint. 3:1-4.
An imbecile. They don't think before they speak.
They are full of entitlement mentality and about themselves.

•They're baby Christians. They want positions but don't like the responsibilities. Most times they want the responsibilities but fail to build themselves to handle it. No personal committment to progress.

•They're very unforgiven and are prone to anger. They're an enemy to the body of Christ.
