*WEDNESDAY 04-03-2026*

*SUPERNATURAL BLESSINGS (2).*

*And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:*

*And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.* (Genesis 12:2-3)

Building on what we began yesterday on the meaning of Super+Natural.

Biblically, supernatural is the domain where God operates.

It represents God’s ability to transcend, suspend, or bypass natural laws (e.g., parting the Red Sea, walking on water).

It includes spiritual beings (angels/demons), miracles, and the spiritual world intersecting with daily life.

Supernatural acts often serve as signs of God's power, authority, and revelation to humanity.

*Examples in Scripture:*
1. *Creation:* The universe being created by God is the foundational supernatural event.
2. *Miracles:* Jesus healing the sick and raising the dead.
3. *Prophecy:* Revealing hidden knowledge about future events.
4. *Intervention:* The parting of the Red Sea and the burning bush.

Christians are encouraged to view God's supernatural power, often described as dunamis (miraculous power/ability), as an indwelling force of the Holy Spirit meant to enable a life of holiness, witness, and service, rather than just a tool for personal gain.

*Christians are expected prayerfully to imbibe from God’s supernatural power the following:*

1. *Reliance Over Self-Sufficiency:* Believers are to move from depending on their own strength, skills, and intellect to relying on the Holy Spirit's power to fulfill their calling. This involves recognizing human limitation and allowing God's strength to be perfected in weakness.
2. *A Transformed Life (Sanctification):* Supernatural power is intended to break the bo***ge of sin and transform a believer’s character to reflect Christ. It provides the ability to live a holy life and to produce the "fruit of the Spirit".
3. *Boldness for Witnessing:* The power of the Holy Spirit is primarily given to empower believers to be effective witnesses for Jesus, enabling them to share the gospel with boldness, power, and authority.
4. *Miraculous Capacity to Do God's Will:* Christians should expect to walk in signs and wonders, including divine healing, deliverance, and supernatural provision, to demonstrate the reality of God's Kingdom on earth.
5. *Endurance in Persecution:* The power of the resurrection allows believers to remain firm, joyful, and overcoming even in the face of trials, opposition, or suffering.
6. *A "Kingdom First" Mentality:* Instead of focusing on personal ambition, believers should use God's power for "kingdom advancement," such as soul-winning, prayer, and serving others.

*How to Imbibe This Power:*
1. *Deepen Intimacy:* Cultivate a close, daily relationship with God through prayer, fasting, and reading the Word, rather than just seeking signs.
2. *Active Obedience:* Apply the Word of God immediately and consistently, as power is often released in the context of obedience.
3. *Surrender Control:* "Empty" oneself of the desire to control outcomes, allowing the Spirit to guide, as Jesus did.
4. *Step Out in Faith:* Take risks for the gospel, such as praying for the sick or ministering to the oppressed, trusting that the power will flow.

*Our prayers this morning*

_I asked for us this morning:_

Grace to Walk in Dominion

Grace to Walk in Supernatural

Grace to live a holy life

Grace to live in Victory

Grace to live above every circumstance around us

And grace to operate in God's supernatural everyday of our lives in the journey of life, destiny and faith in the name of Jesus Christ!!!

Good morning, stay safe and have a midweek fills with God's supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ!

*Praise the Lord!!!* *Amen!!!*

In the journey of this month, we shall be considering the above theme with sections of sub-topics in the devotion.

This morning and for a few days, we shall be looking at the concept of Super+natural through different lenses and what supernatural blessings are and not.

To start with, the concept of the supernatural will be briefly defined as the foundation for our devotion in the journey of this month.

The term supernatural is a compound word with two different words: Super+ Natural

We shall be looking at the two words to define what "supernatural" is.

1. The term "super" generally denotes being "above," "beyond," "over," or "exceeding" in degree or position.

While "super-" is a Latin prefix, its equivalent concepts in Greek and Hebrew are used to convey the idea of superiority, abundance, or greatness.

It signifies a degree that goes beyond the normal limit, often translated as "above," "over," or "beyond".

It is frequently used in the New Testament to describe surpassing greatness or excess, such as:
Hypernikōmen (ὑπερνικῶμεν): "More than conquerors" or exceeding victory.

In a nutshell, the term "Super" primarily means extremely good, excellent, or top-quality.

2. The word "nature" where the word "natural" is formed means the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations.

And it can also mean the basic or inherent features, character, or qualities of something.

Then the word natural from an English dictionary means the existing in or derived from nature; not made or caused by humankind.

And it could also mean "in accordance with the nature" of, or circumstances surrounding, someone or something.

Greek thinks "NATURAL" in terms of innate properties, essence, and categories (natural vs. unnatural/spiritual).

Hebrew thinks in terms of creation, function, and relationship to God, not abstract "laws of nature".

However, the term supernatural would mean, "of a manifestation or event) attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature.

OR

What is unable to be explained by science or the laws of nature: of, relating to, or seeming to come from magic, a god, etc

In the Bible, the supernatural refers to the realm, forces, and events that exist above, beyond, or outside the limitations of natural laws, often involving direct intervention by God, angels, or spiritual forces.

It signifies a reality where the spiritual dimension impacts the physical world, exemplified by miracles, prophecies, and divine manifestations.

*Note*
Christians are considered supernatural works of God because we are transformed by the Holy Spirit, living a life that transcends natural laws and expectations. Rooted in the resurrection of Jesus, this new identity involves divine intervention in human history, enabling believers to operate in faith, experience miracles, and manifest spiritual gifts.

*Key Aspects of Christians as Supernatural Works:*
a. *New Creation & Identity:* Regeneration is a supernatural act where the Holy Spirit transforms an individual, making us a "new creature" in Christ.
b. *Indwelling of the Holy Spirit:* True Christian life is powered by the Holy Spirit dwelling within, enabling obedience and spiritual understanding.
c. *Supernatural Living:* Believers are called to walk in the Spirit, leading to "natural" lives that display supernatural power, such as love, joy, and peace.
d. *Partnership in Power:* Christians partner with God through faith, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through them for healing, miracles, and the advancement of the kingdom.
e. *Beyond Natural Limits:* Christianity involves divine intervention that defies logic, science, and physical limitations, showing God's power in daily life.

This supernatural life is not just for specific, miraculous moments but is the intended state of every believer, allowing them to live out the gospel in a world influenced by spiritual forces.

*Our prayers this morning*

May we always be working in the supernatural grace of God in the name of Jesus Christ.

May we be endowed and be disciplined to always carry and walk in the real nature of God in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the Spirit of God's supernatural rest on each of us in the name of Jesus Christ.

Good morning, stay safe and have a week fills with God's supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ!

*"Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper"* (2 Chronicles 20:20)

This morning, we shall be looking briefly into the differences between the Prophets in the biblical eras and the prophets of this modern day.

On your own, you have to examine and evaluate if our modern day prophets are scripturally equipped.

Biblical prophets were authoritative messengers of God, often calling nations to repentance under threat of judgment, while some (not all) modern-day prophets generally operate within a New Testament framework, focusing on edification, comfort, and personal guidance.

Biblical prophets spoke with absolute, divine authority, often in isolation, to declare God's judgment or direction.

Modern prophets operate within a communal, church-based context, where their words are intended to be "weighed" or judged by others.

Old Testament (OT) prophets primarily urged national repentance and warned against sin.

Modern prophetic ministry is, according to the New Testament, aimed at edification, encouragement, and comfort.

Old Testament prophets were held to a 100% accuracy standard, with failure resulting in severe penalties.

Modern, or New Testament, prophets are considered to be providing revelatory "impressions" or messages that may not carry the same infallible weight as Scripture.

A major difference highlighted is that while Old Testament prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, modern believers (including prophets) are, in Christian theology, indwelt by the Holy Spirit permanently.

Critics argue that some modern prophets focus on personal, financial blessings and self-promotion, whereas biblical prophets rarely sought personal gain and often suffered for their messages.

Modern prophets use technology (social media, internet) to reach audiences globally, whereas biblical prophets often deliver messages orally or in person to kings and the public.

*Probable Similarities:*

Both biblical and modern prophets share the goal of testifying about God's will and calling people back to Him.

Both can be found delivering messages regarding righteousness, Justice, and, in many cases, warnings about future events.

Take Matthew 24:5 & 11 to heart about the modern day prophets:

*For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.*

*And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.*

The above text is happening already in our day, those who proclaim themselves to called prophets should examine themselves and believers should hold on to their faith in Christ through God's words.

*RED ALERT: WE ARE ALREADY AT THE PERILOUS TIME. BE WATCHFUL! BE CAREFUL!! AND BE PRAYERFULL!!!*

*HAPPY NEW MONTH IN ADVANCE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!!!*

*You are welcome to the month of March in advance: Our month of Supernatural Blessings (Genesis 12:2)*

*Our prayers this morning*

May we be a blessing to our generations spiritually in the name of Jesus Christ.

May all the herbalists in the collars around their necks on the church altars be exposed in the name of Jesus Christ .

May we not fall prey of the fake prophets in the name of Jesus Christ.

May God's words always find its place in our lives in the name of Jesus Christ.

Good morning, stay safe and have a great and favored weekend in the name of Jesus Christ!

*"Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper"* (2 Chronicles 20:20)

As we are bringing to a close gradually the teachings on the theme for the year: UNUSUAL VISITATION by this coming Saturday while from the 1st day of March, a new theme for the month will be declared.

Let's do a brief exegesis on 2 Chronicles 20:20, the text for our devotion and by tomorrow, being Saturday and the last day of the month, we shall be looking at the differences between the biblical and modern day prophets.

2 Chronicles 20:20, *“Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”* is the climax of Jehoshaphat’s reliance on God against a vast army.

It teaches that faith in God’s power and His prophetic word leads to stability and victory.

*It's Context:*

It highlights how Judah faced an alliance of Moabites, Ammonites, and Meunites which is considered humanly speaking as an impossible battle.

After a day of fasting, prayer, and a prophetic promise of victory from Jahaziel (v. 14-17), Jehoshaphat leads the people out, relying not on weapons but on divine promise.

*"Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established"* (v. 20a)

The word for *"believe"* is "aman" (related to "amen"), meaning to be firm, steady, or to trust.

It suggests that trusting God brings a "firmness of mind" or spiritual stability ("established").

*"Believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper" (* v. 20b)

Trusting in the Word of God delivered through His messengers is directly linked to success or prosperity in the situation.

The people acted or demonstrated faith. The people did not just hear the words; they acted on them by rising early, moving to the battle line without conventional armor, and singing praises as their primary weapon.

The verse highlights that true "prosperity" (success, peace) in times of crisis comes from unwavering, obedient trust in God and His prophetic word, allowing Him to fight the battle.

As we are learning to rely, trust and obey the words of God, confirmation or guidance to ascertain God's mind in our crises time is inevitable.

The question is, how do we recognize the God's sent prophets in our situations?

1. Through prayer of faith for guidance.
2. Through fasting and prayers under the leading of the Holy Spirit.
3. Recognition of sincere and divinely God called prophets. Even the prophets might be your pastors.
4. When their lives and their prophecies align with the words of God.
5. Through discerning spirit and
6. By their fruits, we shall know them.

*Our prayers this morning*

God's sufficient grace in the journey of faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

God's endowment to always hearing God without consulting any prophets in our situation in the name of Jesus Christ.

Discerning spirit to recognize who is who to share our life crisis with in the journey of faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

Grace to see praises and worship as tools to invite God into our situations in the name of Jesus Christ.

*HAPPY NEW MONTH IN ADVANCE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!!!*

*UNUSUAL VISITATION THROUGH PROPHECY (8).*

*"Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper"* (2 Chronicles 20:20)

Our text this morning is a biblical principle advising that faith in God brings stability, while trusting the messengers He sends which consequently brings success and prosperity.

The text highlights obedience to divine instruction for victory over challenges.

*“Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed”* offers a profound blueprint for navigating modern crises, emphasizing the intersection of faith in God, obedience to prophetic guidance, and the power of praise.

2 Chronicles 20:20 teaches:

The first priority is to be "established" or "upheld" in God. True prosperity (success) is the result of being securely rooted in faith, not just seeking material gain.

When faced with overwhelming challenges, Christians are called to "set themselves to seek the Lord" rather than succumbing to fear or relying on human alliances.

Jehoshaphat’s declaration that "the battle is not yours, but God's" encourages believers to surrender their problems to God, allowing Him to fight on their behalf.

The promise that trusting prophets brings success reminds us that God still sends guidance to the Church today to provide warning, direction, and encouragement. However,
Trusting God provides a firm foundation and spiritual stability.

Believing in the prophets refers to following the instructions, warnings, and messages they deliver from God, which leads to success and victory.

While believing the prophets bring prosperity, contemporary Christians must test all prophecy against Scripture (Acts 17:11), looking for Christ-exalting content and evaluating the character of the messenger.

Prophetic direction requires action of total obedience. As the people moved toward the wilderness, faith was translated into obedience.

Jehoshaphat’s appointment of singers to lead the army illustrates that praise is a powerful, proactive weapon in spiritual warfare, not just a celebration after a victory.

Believers are encouraged to sing and give thanks during trials, which shifts focus from the crisis to God’s power and holiness.
Supernatural

As Judah worshipped, God set "ambushments" against their enemies. True praise invites God’s presence, which can lead to miraculous, unexpected breakthroughs.

In the context of the text (2 Chronicles 20:20, King Jehoshaphat spoke these words to the people of Judah to encourage them to trust God for victory in a seemingly impossible battle, which they won through obedience.

Leaders should lead in prayer and fasting when the congregation faces distress.

Like Jehoshaphat, leaders must actively stand and remind their people to anchor their faith in God and His Word.

Communal and unified worship is crucial during times of crisis. This should be encouraged by the body of Christ.

In a world of uncertainty, the formula remains: Trust God's character (be established) and Obey God's Word (as brought by messengers), which results in Success (prosperity).

*Its Relevance Today*

It is often interpreted as a call to recognize and follow the guidance of God-sent leaders or prophetic words to navigate trials.

*Our prayers this morning:*

May all our dependency always be on God in the name of Jesus Christ.

May we be blessed with the grace of God to depend on God in the times of our crisis.

May we be blessed with God's mind and lifestyle whenever we find ourselves in any cross roads where we do not know where to go and who to turn to in the name of Jesus Christ.

Grace to think of God first before any of God's servants or prophets, may we be blessed with it in the name of Jesus Christ.

Good morning, stay safe and have a blessed day in the name of Jesus Christ!

*UNUSUAL VISITATION THROUGH PROPHECY (7).*

*"He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church."* (1 Corinthians 14:4)

*THE PURPOSE OF PROPHECY*

There are people, according to Ephesians 4:11, who are called specifically to operate as prophets.

They are anointed by God to speak His message.

In Jeremiah 1:5, God told Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations” (NIV).

There is a calling on the life of a prophet to speak on behalf of the Lord as He directs.

God is telling His people to pay attention!

“Do not scoff at prophecies” (1 Thessalonians 5:20)!

*Prophets See the Future*

Also known as seers, prophets serve as the eyes of the Body of Christ.

They perceive deep spiritual revelation and see far out in the distance, with a view best likened to that of an eagle.

As beholders of visions, prophets have the ability to see the future through a tunnel of time, meaning that what seems impossible or unlikely to those around them is easy for prophets to envision.

*Prophets Speak Messages From God*

But beyond simply seeing ahead to the future plans and purposes of God, prophets also serve as the mouth of the Lord.

The Hebrew word for prophet, _Nabi_ , is also translated as spokesman.

Prophets today say whatever God tells them to say, just as the prophets in the Old Testament obeyed Him when He told them, “You must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you” (Jeremiah 1:7).

*Prophets Edify, Comfort and Exhort*

The role of a prophet is to see what is revealed by God then speak it, declaring God’s plans on the earth.

Revelation delivered via prophets will come in the form of a word of knowledge, a word of wisdom or the discerning of spirits.

In addition, prophecy, as defined in 1 Corinthians 14:3, edifies, comforts and exhorts, it is speaking inspired by God.

*Prophets Warn*

We should mix it up, prophetic words are not all edification and comfort. Old Testament prophets, just as modern-day prophets, declared judgment. The heart behind such warnings did not come from a heart of condemnation, but the love of the Father giving opportunity to those in jeopardy to repent, turn around and change their ways.

*Prophets Prepare the Way*

The voice of the prophet Isaiah was creating a highway for the coming of the Lord. The fulfillment came after a long wait, and it is an illustration of how we are to view prophecy in our personal lives.

When you receive from the ministry of a prophet, whether it be a personal word for you or a declaration over the Church or your nation, don’t ever give up on a prophetic word, and don’t let the passage of time weaken your faith.

The Lord will do nothing until He reveals things to His prophets.

He will reveal to His servants the words that need to be declared, and that will begin to produce a highway to the fulfillment of those words.

Words that come through prophetic utterance are not to be taken lightly.

They are a call to action, so pay attention to the words of a prophet!

Listen! the ones considered genuine in the light of the Holy Bible because by their fruits, we shall know them.

There are still genuine prophets in our time though with uncountable fake and uncalled ones.

Let's be careful and watchful!!!

*Our prayers this morning*

May our spiritual ears never block to hear directly from God in the name of Jesus Christ.

May our inner eyes remain active so that we would not be misled in the name of Jesus Christ.

May God arrest and expose every Prophets raised from the kingdom of darkness!

Good morning, stay safe and have a blessed midweek in the name of Jesus Christ!

*TUESDAY 24-02-2026*

*UNUSUAL VISITATION THROUGH PROPHECY (6).*

*"He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church."* (1 Corinthians 14:4)

Still on the emphasis this morning why the ministry of prophets and the gifts of prophecies in the Bible as ordained by God.

The biblical approval of the ministry of prophets and the gift of prophecy is based on the necessity for a direct communication link between God and humanity, aiming to reveal His will, call for repentance, and provide spiritual direction.

Throughout the Bible, this ministry is validated as a crucial, divinely appointed tool used out of compassion to keep people in a covenant relationship with God.

The primary reasons for the approval of the ministry of prophet and prophecy in the Bible:
1. *To Act as God's Mouthpiece and Reveal His Will*
Prophets were approved to serve as the "mouth of the Lord" (Jeremiah 1:7), bringing objective divine revelation rather than personal opinions.
2. *To Declare God’s Heart:* They reveal the mind and character of God, showing His holiness, mercy, and justice.
"Surely the Lord God Does Nothing": Amos 3:7 affirms that God reveals His plans to His servants the prophets before acting.
3. *To Call for Repentance and Enforce the Covenant*
A primary role of Old Testament prophets was to call God's covenant people (Israel) back to faithfulness when they turned toward idolatry, social injustice, or empty ritualism.

4. *To Convict People of Sins:* Prophecy serves as a "wake-up call" to believers caught in sin.
5. *For Corrective Purpose:* Prophetic words provide warnings to turn away from destruction and back to God.

6. *To Edify, Encourage, and Comfort (New Testament Focus)*
In the New Testament, 1 Corinthians 14:3 emphasizes that the primary purpose of prophecy is to strengthen, encourage, and comfort believers.

7. *To Build the Church:* Prophetic ministry is essential for strengthening the church and equipping the saints.
8. *To Provide/Give Hope to the Hopeless:* It offers assurance of God's faithfulness, such as in Jeremiah 29:11.
9. *To Prepare the Way for God's Work (Messianic)*
Prophets were approved to prepare people for specific, momentous acts of God, most notably the coming of the Messiah.
10. *To Authenticate/Validate God's Involvement in the Affairs on Men:* Fulfilled prophecies validate that God is in control of history.
11. *To "Prepare the Way":* As with Isaiah or John the Baptist, they prepare the way for the Lord’s work.
12. *To Provide Divine Direction*
Prophecy is used to give guidance for specific situations in the church or individual lives, such as in Acts 13:1–3, where prophets in Antioch provided direction for missionary work.

13. *To Expose Sin and Challenge Injustice*
Prophets were empowered to "speak truth to power," challenging societal, political, and religious injustice, and defending the poor and vulnerable.

*NOTE THESE*

True prophecy must always align with the Word of God; if a prophecy contradicts Scripture, it is rejected (Isaiah 8:20).

New Testament, believers are instructed to "test the spirits" and weigh prophecy (1 John 4:1, 1 Cor 14:29).

The "testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" (Rev 19:10), meaning all true prophecy bears witness to Jesus.

Any prophecy that cannot be weighed and aligned with the above has a question mark?

*Our prayers this morning*

May we not fall the victim of fake Prophets and prophecies in the name of Jesus Christ.

May we be helped to have the understanding of God's word in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord deliver as many who have fallen the victim of the Prophets from the Satanic kingdom in the name of Jesus Christ.

Good morning, stay safe and have a blessed day in the name of Jesus Christ!
