AT THE NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS OLEH, DELTA STATE, NIGERIA.
23/5/2026.
PREACHER: PASTOR MRS EDNA IRUOGHENE GODSPOWER
TOPIC: GOD IS GOD
TEXTS: Numbers 23:19–20, Psalm 46:10, Exodus 33:11, John 11:43–44, Jeremiah 32:27, Psalm 128.
MEANING: WHO IS GOD?
God is the Supreme God. He is the Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who rules over all powers and kingdoms. He cannot fail, He cannot lie, He does not change, and no power can defeat Him. Whatever He says, He is able to bring to pass. He is the God of all flesh, and nothing is too hard for Him.
Understanding God
G — God’s Presence and Greatness Going everywhere.
The Bible says in Exodus 33:11:
“And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.”
God’s presence went with Moses to deliver the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh. Wherever God’s presence appears, bo***ge is broken, battles are won, and destinies are restored. The presence of God brings direction, victory, protection, and deliverance.
The Bible also says in Psalm 46:10:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
This shows the greatness and supremacy of God. No matter the storm, affliction, or challenge, God remains God. He is greater than every power, situation, and enemy confronting His children.
The Bible says in Psalm 128 that God blesses those who fear Him and walk in His ways. His presence upon a man brings blessings upon his family, marriage, children, and the works of his hands.
O — Order, Obedience, and Authority
God is a God of order and authority. He gives commands and everything obeys Him. He does not negotiate with darkness; He speaks with authority.
The Bible says in John 11:43–44:
“And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
And he that was dead came forth…”
Jesus did not beg death or the grave. He gave a command, and Lazarus came out. This proves that when God speaks, every power must obey. Every closed door, buried destiny, and impossible situation must answer to His authority.
The Bible says in Numbers 23:19–20:
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent…”
God’s word carries authority and cannot fail. When He speaks blessings, no man can reverse them. His promises are dependable, and His commandments stand forever.
D — Doing Everything
The Bible says in Jeremiah 32:27:
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
God is able to do everything. Nothing is impossible for Him. He heals the sick, delivers the oppressed, restores lost glory, breaks yokes, and changes impossible situations.
The same God who brought Lazarus out of the grave is still working today. Whatever looks dead in your life can receive life again by His power.
Psalm 128 also reveals that God is able to provide peace, fruitfulness, prosperity, and generational blessings for those who follow Him. What man cannot do, God can do perfectly.
In conclusion, God is still God in every season of life. He remains faithful, powerful, merciful, and unchangeable. When men fail, God remains faithful. When situations become impossible, God makes a way. Trust Him, obey Him, and stand upon His word, for He will surely prove Himself mighty in your life.
