THEME: GOD HEALS ALL DISEASES
TEXT: PSALM 103:3

Psalms 103:3 "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;"

There are some diseases that are very hard to cure and people usually refer to them as terminal diseases. Boils all over the body and leprosy used to be some of them in those days. Job and Hezekiah suffered it

Job 2:7 "So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown."
It was a terminal disease that caught Job that was why his wife quickly run away. When people feel that yours is finished, they reveal their true colours.
However, our God is a healer of all diseases, including terminal ones. Look at how God healed Hezekiah.

Isaiah 38:21 " For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover."

Moreover, terminal diseases are still prevalent today. Stroke, HIV AIDS, lassa fever, to mention but a few. When people are diagnosed of terminal diseases, many of them forget God for once. The fear of death overwhelm them, and their BP starts to rise. When you even go to pray with them, they only answer "Amen" but deep down in their hearts, they had written themselves off, and never believe in any prayers.

Beloved, we have a God that heals all diseases, and that includes terminal ones. Job and Hezekiah survived the terminal disease of their time because God intervened. Hezekiah was even told that he was going to die, but the man did not faint, rather he grew stronger in faith and prayers. He prayed until God changed his mind and added fifteen years to his years.

Exodus 15:26 " And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
Our God is a healer. He heals every disease, no matter what. Some years ago when lassa fever was just coming up and very dreadful, we were on our mission work when one of my members got a call that her younger brother's wife delivered. As we were about to shout Alleluia, the call added that both mother and child tested positive to lassa fever, and that the child passed away few minutes ago, and that the mother had been transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU). Everyone became sad. But we encouraged her to have faith. We held our hands together and prayed. Two days later, she called me to tell me that her brother's wife had been healed and discharged. She acknowledged that her healing was due to the prayer, because even the doctors confessed that she was the first patient to come out alive, after been tested positive to lassa fever in that hospital.

Further more, what should a person do when he has a terminal disease?

Psalms 107:17-21 " Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"

This scripture identity clearly that people often forget God and his laws in their days of prosperity, so he called them fools. In that state they sinned against God, and as a result were afflicted with terminal diseases. But when they remember their errors, repent and went back to God, God being Clement, forgave then, sent his word (Jesus Christ) and healed them. So the first step to take is to repent and go back to God. Then pray to God like Hezekiah, and God shall send Jesus Christ (his word), to heal them.
Above all, some sicknesses are spiritual. In spiritual cases nothing is diagnosed, yet the person is dying. Infact you will appreciate our God more when you take such cases to him: for He will take the sickness from the person and return it to sender. I have seen many of such cases where the sender shouted confessing what he did and confirming its return to him. Praise God. Alleluia.
The man at the pool of Bethesda did not lose hope. That was why he stayed there for 38 years. Therefore don't loose hope. Keep hoping, for God shall surely come to heal you.

However, all we are saying here is for those facing untimely death, not those whose appointed time with God is due
2 Kings 13:14 " Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. ..."
So some sickness are meant to transport us to heaven.
Ecclesiastes 8:8 "There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it."

PRAYER POINTS

(2) I repent of all my evil ways.
(3) O God give me the grace to live right with you.

THEME: SHOULD I LOOK UNTO THE MOUNTAIN?
TEXT: PSALM 121:1-2

Psalms 121:1-2 "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth".

The children of Israel started worshipping idols of the mountains courtesy of Jeroboam. Baal was also an idol placed on top of mountain, so they worship it there, that was why the Bible kept on mentioning the high places. The woman of Samaria said to Jesus that they worshipped in mountain.

John 4:20 "Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship."

So mountain in this context, is not referring to God Almighty, but idol, contrary to what many understood it to be. David was aware, so his statement was actually: should I lift up my eyes unto the mountain, where cometh my help? Then in verse two, he answered it that his help cometh not from mountains, but from the Lord who created heaven and earth. Looking up to mountain for help is tantamount to going to idols, gods, or deity for help instead of the Almighty God, which is against our faith. Psalms 11:1 helps to explain it:

Psalms 11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

Here David is saying that he was already in the safe hands of God Almighty, so no one should advise him to go to idols.
Therefore, in these two scriptures, David was emphatically saying that help cannot be gotten from idols, but God Almighty.
Also, mountain could mean the rulers, rich, highly connected and the high people in the society. Seeking help from them without being connected to the Almighty God may amount to futility. Listen to what a king said in the Bible:

2 Kings 6:26-27 And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.
And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?

Here the King practically said that where God Almighty refused to help, he, as a king cannot do anything. And that was the simple truth.

Job 9:13 " If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him".

Again Job confirmed that man's help is nothing, without God.
Beloved I'm not saying we should not get help from people around us. But when things are difficult for us we should first cry to God. Make peace with Him, and try to live right with Him. He may even be the one to direct people to you or direct you to where you can actually get the help you needed. So as you're looking for help through man, make sure you have taken the problem to God first.
There was a story of a young man who was in university. When they were about to graduate, many of them were apprehensive of how they can get job. But this young was very full of hope because his elder brother was a big politician and well connected. So when people were thinking of how to get job, his was the type of work he would agree to do. But when he went for NYSC, news came that this his big brother was involved in a car accident and died.

Brethren, I'm teaching this so that no one should use anything or anyone to replace God in his/ her life. There are some, because of the help they are getting from someone, they obey them at the expense of God. This is bad. God is indispensable in the life of everyone, but no one is indispensable in anyone's life.

Acts 4:19-20 "But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."

PRAYER POINTS
(1) O God forgive me for running to man when I should have run to you
(2) O God I come to you as a fugitive, forgive me and restore me
(3) O God hear my cry and help me
(4) O God connect me to my destiny helpers
(5) O God, let your hands of grace and favour be upon me.
(6) O God heal my diseases.
(7) O God bless the work of my hands

MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD FORGIVE YOUR SINS, RESTORE YOU AND GRANT ALL YOUR PETITIONS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN.

Good morning, you're blessed.

THEME: CAN BELIEVING IN THE GOSPEL ALONE GIVE ONE ETERNAL LIFE?
TEXT: ACTS 8:13.

Acts 8:13 "Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done."

There was a man in the Bible called Simon. He was a wizard. He came across Phillip preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He believed, and was baptized. But he never repented. Before he came across Phillip he was using magic and sorcery to deceive and cheat the people. So when he believed and was baptized, he did not repent. He hoped to continue in his cheat and sorcery. So when Peter came and laid hands on people and they received the Holy Spirit he thought that his own power was less than that of Peter, so he offered money to Peter so that Peter may sell him that greater power, thinking that when Peter must have gone back, he would be in charge and charge a higher fee. He was disappointed. Perhaps he was able to deceive Phillip that he was a believer, but he could not deceive Peter. Peter caught him in his craftiness and exposed him. A true believer Wil never wonder when God performed miracles through his son
Believing in Jesus Christ was the condition God gave for one to have eternal life. Because believing in Christ ought to go with repentance. This is what I'm saying: you were serving your community deity before now. Then you heard the gospel of Christ which says serving deities other than God Almighty is a sin, and would lead to hell when you die, and should you want to go heaven when you die, then you must stop the worship of deity and worship God Almighty. And whoever that believes in this message must turn from worshipping the deity and turn to worship God. This is the believe that gives eternal life. But if you say you believe yet nothing is changed in you it simply means you didn't believe. So when believe does not lead to repentance and a change in a way of life pattern, then it is not a true believe and can never guarantee eternal life.
Satan now use this to deceive people. He pushes people to say I believe. And they will offer themselves for baptism, but will not exhibit any character of a believer!
Today we have witches and wizards like Simon who are baptized and even confirmed in the church. Fornicators, cultist liars etc are not left out Regrettably enough, some of them are holding key positions in the church, and some are even priests!

This makes us slightly modify the definition of a true believer to be someone who believes in Jesus Christ and repent, showing a significant change in character or life pattern. Jesus himself identified them thus:

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Those who called themselves Jews or believers without repenting, Jesus called them blasphemers. These people know that they don't have eternal life so they are very bitter and brutal in life.

Matthew 3:7-8 "But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance"

Even John the Baptist knew that there were so many people who claimed they have believed and offered themselves for baptism, yet no repentance, so he quickly told them that saying I believe or I'm a believer is not enough to guarantee them eternal life, but that they must bear or show the sign of repentance.

James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."

James made it clear that even the belief we are boasting of, the devil himself also believe, yet trembled. So we can conclude that although believe in the Lord Jesus Christ leads to eternal salvation but only the belief is not enough, rather it must be followed by some act of genuine repentance and a turn from evil to good, or bear a fruit of repentance.

PRAYER POINTS
(1) O God forgive me for thinking I can deceive you with my fake believe
(2) O God let me believe in you and get genuine repentance
(3) O God let me not believe in you and still be condemned
(4) O God let your name I know defend me
(5) O God deliver me from the hands of fake believers
(6) O God grant me true believe that can guarantee my eternity in your kingdom
(7) O God make me your true disciple
(8) O God deliver me from the gall of bitterness
(9) O God give me the courage to repent and follow you after believing.in you

MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD GRANT YOU TRUE REPENTANCE THAT WILL GUARANTEE YOUR ETERNITY IN HEAVEN THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN.

Good morning, you're blessed.

THEME: BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (2)
TEXT: JOHN 6:29

"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." - John 6:29
# # # WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN TO BELIEVE?

Believing is the foundation of our faith. But many of us say we believe in Christ without truly understanding what believing means.

To believe in Jesus is not just to confess His name on Sunday. It is to have total confidence in WHO He is, accept WHAT He is, without arguing HOW or WHY.

We believe God created all things and no one created Him. We believe He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit - Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient. We believe Jesus came as man, born of a virgin, to save us.

If we truly believe this, our lives will show it.

2 BIBLICAL EXAMPLES THAT WILL SHAKE YOU

1. Abraham obeyed without argument. When God asked for Isaac, Abraham didn't debate God. He obeyed. Why? He KNEW God.

2. Jonah ran to Tarshish. He thought he could hide from God. Why? He did not yet KNOW God well enough.

Here is the truth: Disobedience is a sign of unbelief. If you truly know Him, you will obey Him.

Think about this: God is everywhere. He was there when the serpent entered Eden. He was watching when Adam and Eve ate the fruit. If He had wanted to appear, the serpent would never have dared. He was testing their loyalty.

The same God sees you. When you lie, when you do that secret thing - you are only deceiving yourself. He is right there.

If Ananias and Sapphira had known Jesus was standing right there when they sold the land, they would never have lied to Peter. Acts 5

IF YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS, YOU MUST SETTLE THESE 3 TRUTHS:

1. HE CAN DO ALL THINGS, BUT IN HIS OWN TIME.
Your challenge is not bigger than Jesus. But He heals, helps and lifts in His own way and time. The cripple at the Beautiful Gate sat there even when Jesus was alive, but his healing came through Peter and John. Don't lose hope - your time is coming!
Luke 4:25-27 reminds us - many widows were in Israel, but Elijah was sent to only one. Many lepers were there, but only Naaman was cleansed. God has His own calendar.
2. YOUR OBEDIENCE IS YOUR EVIDENCE.
You don't prove you believe by shouting Amen. You prove it by obeying when it is hard. Faith without obedience is just noise.

3. YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM HIM.
We fear our Pastors, our leaders, and behave well before them. But the ONE we should fear sees in the dark.
Psalm 139:7-11 "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? ... If I say, surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me."
Therefore, stop hiding. Start repenting. Total repentance is the only way.

Remember: 11 of the 12 Apostles were martyred. Only John died naturally. That doesn't mean Jesus failed them. It means our faith is not primarily for earthly comfort, but for ETERNAL CROWN.
Revelation 2:10 "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer... be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."
# # # TODAY'S CHARGE

Stop living like God is far. He is right there - in your room, in your business, in your secret chat. If you truly believe He sees all and can do all, you will live differently from today!

LET US PRAY:

Father, thank You for opening my eyes today. Bless the vessel You used in Jesus name.
O Lord, forgive me for claiming to believe when I don't truly know You.
Father, forgive me for thinking I could hide from You.
Lord, forgive all my sins committed in secret places.
O God, help me to trust You even in tribulation and trials.
Father, help me never to lose sight of Your Kingdom.
O Lord, help me to keep my faith till the very end.
Father, reward my faith with Your crown of life.
Lord Jesus, abide with me in evil days and hold my hand.

DECLARATION: My faith is not for show. I believe, I obey, and I will be faithful unto death!

May Almighty God pardon your ignorance and answer you in the day of trouble, in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.

Good Morning. Remain Blessed and Highly Favoured.

THEME: WHOM SHALL I SEND (2)
TEXT: ISAIAH 6:8

Isaiah 6:8 "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me "

The responsibility of prophets in the Kingdom of Israel and Judah was to warn kings of impending danger and doom. God usually reveals to the prophet what he intended to do because of a particular sin committed and expected the prophet to go and warn the king accordingly, and should such king repents, God usually forgive and the king will avert the coming doom. This was what God was expecting Isaiah to do to King Uzziah, but he failed. So God declared his position vacant even when he was very much alive and was still sitting as the current prophet of the time.

Whom shall I send?

That was the cry of God declaring the position of Isaiah vacant!

There was a reverend father who abandoned his call to run tor the seat of a governor in his state. He won, and today he is telling all sorts of lies to defend the president, down playing the Christian genocide occurring in his state.

Whom shall I send?

Isaiah thought of his relationship and closeness to King Uzziah, and probably what he may loose, should he address the pomposity of the king and decided to keep quiet, a decision that almost cost him his calling.
Brethren what are you doing with your calling? How are you carrying out your duties as a Christian, as a priest and as an evangelist? Do you compromise your stand? Is God also looking for a replacement for you?
Recently I learnt that some Bishops of the Pentecostal faith had adopted the president for a second tenure in the midst of hunger, high insecurity and general backwardness and inhumanity that characterize the Nigeria nation now Those saddled with the responsibility of telling government the truth so that she may change, are the same people falsely praising her just to earn her favour, and a possible ghana- must go bag full of money!

Whom shall I send?

God have declared the position of many people vacant, yet they are still parading themselves as servants of God. Isaiah was lucky. God gave him a second chance. Perhaps this is the opportunity for your own second chance, check yourself properly, and don't miss it.

Jeremiah 15:19 Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

Here, God is offering somebody a second chance, don't miss it. And God shall restore you.

PRAYER POINTS.
(1) O God forgive me for compromising my stand.
(2) O God give me the courage to stand my ground and declare your counsel without fear or favour.
(3) O God don't allow the things of this world to take me away from my calling
(4) O God separate me from the friends that can corrupt my calling
(5) O God separate me from the worldly enjoyment that can put my ministry in jeopardy
(6) O God restore me to my calling.

MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOU, PARDON YOUR STRAYING AND RESTORE YOU TO YOUR CALLING THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN.

Good morning, God bless you.

TEXT: ISAIAH 6:8

Isaiah 6:8 "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me".

Uzziah was made king at the age of 16. He took over from his father Amaziah. He started very well, following the footsteps of his father, fearing and obeying God. As a result, God blessed him and made his kingdom to extend to philistine and some parts of Egypt. Isaiah was his close ally. They were cousins. Because he started very well Isaiah now trusted his judgement too much to a fault.

Isaiah was already a prophet before King Uzziah died, so his seeing God only when Uzziah died tend to suggest something that got me thinking and researching.

2 Chronicles 26:16-17 But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.
And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that were valiant men".

This portion of the Bible helps to explain it. Towards the end of Uzziah, he grew proud and pompous. He looked down on the priests and thought he could equally offer sacrifices to God and also burn insence to him. But God clearly separated the office of kings from that of the priests, the Levites are never kings, but priests, and no other tribes of Israel can be a priest except the Levites. However, it was an honour God reserved for Jesus Christ, coming, from the tribe of Judah, and being a priest and a king.

Now when Uzziah became haunty, Isaiah as a prophet but did nothing to warn him. That was probably why God was looking for a replacement for him. So whom shall I send, and who shall go for us was God's own way of searching for a suitable replacement for Isaiah. Keeping quiet when you suppose to speak is a great evil before God. Because some silence can have grave consequences. Perhaps if Isaiah had warned him on time, he may not have destroyed himself. A king of such magnitude ruined his career and life because of pride and because a prophet who could have warned him on time kept quiet probably because of not willing to go against him. This should be a great lesson to us: if we occupy an important position, and those who are very close to us criticize some of our decisions and correct us quietly, we should listen carefully and weigh their criticism and their corrections.

Those of us whom God gave wisdom to counsel and advise should not fail to do so because we thought he may not listen, fulfill your ministry.

PRAYER POINTS
(1) O. God forgive my pride and arrogance
(2) O God deliver me from pride and self destruction
(3) O God don't let me start well and end badly
(4) O God surround me with men who can correct me and call me to order when I'm going astray.
(5) O God don't let me look down on anyone, no matter how far low they are behind me.
(6) O God save me from self destruction.

MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD PRESERVE YOU FROM PRIDE AND SELF DESTRUCTION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN.

THEME: REJOICE ALWAYS
TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 4:4

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Christians of the Acts of the apostles were very joyful. They really believed in the world to come that they forgot all their worries about the things of this world. So they were ready to accommodate one another, making sure that no one lacked among the brotherhood. They supported each other. Ones problem was a problem for all, and ones success was a success for all

Their joy came from the knowledge that they are saved and shall have eternal life. So they cared less about this world. So worry was far from them. They were content with whatever they have, knowing that they shall inherit the kingdom where they shall have all things.
None of the apostles died of BP, not because there was no BP then, but because they don't worry

Over the years, as Christ begins to tarry in his second coming, many Christians began to loose hope, not only of the second coming, but also of the kingdom of heaven. Apostle Peter noticed this and warmed thus:

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Brethren the kingdom of God is true. His second coming is not a mirage. The judgement of God is certain, and hell is real. So we should be rest assured that one day we shall face these realities.

Christians grow weak and weary when they are not sure of their personal faith and salvation. When they loose sight of the kingdom of heaven. But Jesus encouraged us thus:

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus made it clear that whoever knows him and believes in him will have eternal life. So as a Christian who is in the faith, we should be joyful, for Christ shall raise Us up to eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

So as a Christian, stop worrying, and stop caring too much about the things of the world. Know that you have a kingdom of peace and joy to inherit. Whatever you are passing through now is temporary, the permanent one shall come where you shall have everything you may need.

1 John 5:11-12 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Beloved, rejoice like the Christmas of old, keep on believing, for the coming of Christ is closer than you can ever imagine. Take away bitterness of heart. For you have a kingdom of joy and peace to inherit.

PRAYER POINTS
(1) O God forgive me for my bitterness of heart
(2) O God forgive my doubt and faithlessness
(3) O God fill me with the joy of your salvation.
(4) I come against every spirit of doubt and faithlessness in me
(5) I come against anything that wants to steal my joy
(6) I come against every spirit of fear and doubt in the name of Jesus.

MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD RESTORE TO YOU THE JOY OF YOUR SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN

Good morning, cheers
