🌿 Sunday Reflection 🌿

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding— Proverbs 3:5

As we gather this Sunday, let us remember that God's plans are always greater than our own. Even when the path ahead seems unclear, His love and guidance never fail. May we surrender our worries, strengthen our faith, and walk confidently in His grace.
Prayer:
Lord, help us to trust You more deeply, love others more sincerely, and serve You more faithfully. May Your peace fill our hearts today and throughout the week ahead Amen.

Reflection – 7th Sunday of Easter
Today’s Gospel reminds us of the deep love of Jesus for His people. As He speaks to the Father, He prays for all believers and prepares to return to heaven. Even as He leaves the world, He does not abandon us. Instead, He entrusts us to God’s care and calls us to remain united in faith and love.
This Gospel teaches us that we are not alone in our journey. Christ continues to intercede for us and desires that we live as witnesses of His truth in the world. In a world filled with confusion, hatred, and fear, Christians are called to shine as lights of peace, holiness, and unity.
As members of Christ the King Parish Okpoma, may we continue to live as true disciples of Christ, trusting in His protection and sharing His love with everyone around us.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, keep us faithful to You. Help us to remain united in love and truth as we journey through this world. May our lives bring glory to Your Holy Name. Amen.
