FAMILY AND HUMAN LIFE WEEK CONCLUDES WITH THANKSGIVING MASS

On Saturday, August 15, the Family and Human Life Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Okigwe, led by its Coordinator, Rev. Fr. Prof. Clement Uje, brought the Family and Human Life Week to a joyful conclusion with a Thanksgiving Holy Mass at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

The Holy Mass was presided over by our Bishop, Most Rev. Solomon A. Amatu, and brought together families from across the Diocese, including parents, children, Knights and their Ladies, and other faithful who gathered to celebrate the gift and dignity of family life.

The celebration also featured the presentation of awards and the inauguration of patrons and matrons who will continue to support and promote the mission of the Family and Human Life Commission in the Diocese.

It was a beautiful celebration of faith, family, love, and the sanctity of human life. We thank God for the success of the Family and Human Life Week and pray that its message will continue to bear fruit in our families and communities.
