Sermon Excerpt | Sunday Service โ€” 3rd May 2026
Topic: To Obey God
Preacher: Pastor Paul Asuku

Obedience to God is not just about doing things โ€” it is about aligning your heart with His Word and His instructions. True obedience is a complete surrender, a lifestyle that says โ€œYes, Lordโ€ even when it is not convenient.

Scripture reminds us in how obedience was tested, and in how God calls us into a covenant through obedience. Because obedience is not empty โ€” it carries weight, it carries results.

โ€œObedience is better than sacrifice.โ€ It is not about how much we try to prove ourselves, but how well we follow what God has already said.

When you obey God:
โ€ข You position yourself for the miraculous
โ€ข You walk in divine direction
โ€ข You become set apart โ€” a special vessel in His hands

Sometimes it may not make sense, but obedience always makes impact.

One simple truth to carry this week:
If God said it, I will do it.

As we step into 2026, we boldly declare a year of divine lifting and promotion by God. This is not a year of struggle, but a year where God Himself elevates His people according to His purpose.
โ€œFor promotion comes not from the east or the westโ€ฆ but God is the judge.โ€ - Psalm 75:6โ€“7 (KJV)

You receive divine elevation. You walk in it. You testify of it.
Welcome to my year of Divine Elevation. ๐Ÿ™โœจ
