*JUVENILE/YOUTH HARVEST*

I write to prayerfully invite you to join us this Sunday, 24th September, 2023 as we celebrate the feast of Juvenile/youth harvest of our church of nativity. Its a tradition of the church handed over to us by our forebears and one, we intend to graciously keep and honor. On this note, I seek to call your attention to arise and continue in thy might to build God's house by supporting the harvest as God provides for and as the spirit leads you.

We have directed each band leadership to reach out to it's members about the each member's responsibility and permit me to say thank you to those that have responded to this clarion noble call while we continue to wait for those that are yet to respond to please do between now and Sunday morning. We have made some adjustments in the leadership of the bands of the church and should in case you have not received a call or a message from your band please you can reach out to the harvest committee chairman, @⁨BROS⁩ or @⁨Afe⁩ to make inquiries and to pay your harvest support. We have permitted them to use their personal bank accounts to help received your supports on behalf of any of the band which when received will be forwarded to the band for proper documentation.

To avoid the usual hiccups in selecting harvest chair holders, we have also draw out a guidelines to address such. For our God is a God of orderliness and precepts and His church must be run in accordance. In due time, we shall also be letting us know the new proposed modalities to chose harvest chair holders for at least the next ten (10) years by the grace of God.

Finally brethren, please do not cease to pray for us for God's grace to be multiplied for ministry exploits and please do continue to join us as we together build the Lord's house.

May the peace of God be always be with you.

And everyone went to register for the census, each to his city.
So Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, -Luke 2:3-4 (AMP).

Calvary greetings; may God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ mightily bless each one of you and give you peace (Amen).

ANNUAL FAMILY THANKSGIVING

It has been the practice of the church for every family to appear before the Lord's Altar in thanksgiving for God's faithfulness and love. I write to bring to your notice most beloved brethren the arrangement made to that effect and the corrections or amendments made to previous years.

A family is a unit comprising the father, mother, and their children (Nuclear family). Everyone blessed with the above is a family man or woman and though such a person still represent the larger family (Extended family) from the moment he/she is honored by God and promoted to the status of a husband, wife, or parent, it is therefore necessary that the father lead his OWN FAMILY to God's Altar for the annual thanksgiving just like Joseph in the verse quoted above.

We have considered some factors (especially of our brethren who are not residents at home, in order not to deny them the right to the Altar of their Church of Nativity The church thought it wise to extend it to the first two weeks of the first month of the year) and have come up with the roster attached to this message.

We trust that you will pray along with us and prepare to access the gate of the Lord with Thanksgiving even as we trust God to grant you access to His courts through your praise and adoration.
