*EXPOSITION:*
God is a God of order. When He launches a project, or purpose, He orchestrates every detail, leading Psalm 37:23 reminds us, The steps of a and guiding His people, step by step. good man are ordered by the Lord and He delights in his way. It brings God joy to see His plans unfold through those who follow His guidance. However, when we run ahead of God's timing, pursuing our own visions, we risk stepping outside of His provision and protection.
To experience God's full provision, we must patiently wait for His leading. Proverbs 16:9 says, A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps. The Living Bible renders it thus: We should make plans-counting on God to direct us. The truth is, God provides resources, strength and support when we follow His ordered steps at the right time.
Are you rushing ahead, or waiting for God's next step? Seek His direction today and trust that as you walk in obedience, He will fund every step He has ordained for your life. Wait on the LORD; be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart (Ps 27:14).
