AFTER DARKNESS, LIGHT
Join us for an enlightening Bible Conference hosted by Saved by Grace Mission, Lagos, with the theme: "The Gospel: After Darkness, Light".

John 1:4-5 reminds us: "In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it."
And in Colossians 1:13, we are assured: "He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son."
This is the heart of the Gospel—the Good News that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world to save us from the power of sin and death. Through His death on the cross and His glorious resurrection, we are rescued from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the kingdom of His marvelous light.

The Gospel is more than a message—it’s an invitation. An invitation to know God personally, to walk in His truth, and to experience the freedom and eternal life that only Jesus can give. This Gospel calls us out of the shadows of guilt, pain, and separation from God, into the radiant light of His love, grace, and forgiveness.

Despite everyone's happiness, the preaching of the Gospel continued undeterred in the end.

Any religious action performed with the intent of gaining God’s acceptance, like praying at specific times, reading a set number of Bible chapters, or fasting on certain days, can become a burden.

What should be aspects of Christian freedom—like frequent prayer, reading Scripture for guidance, and enjoying life’s blessings—can instead turn into a yoke of bo***ge if treated as rigid requirements. This is something to be wary of.

At Saved by Grace Mission, we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, as commanded by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We recognize that while salvation is ultimately a gift from God, we are called to be His instruments in bringing the Gospel to all nations.

Our mission is threefold:

Evangelization: To proclaim the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, near and far. We believe that salvation is found solely through faith in our Lord and Savior, and we are dedicated to sharing this message with the world.

Spiritual Formation: To nurture and equip believers for a life of worshipful service to God. We aim to cultivate a community of individuals who not only profess their faith with their lips but also demonstrate it through their lives. Our desire is to help believers grow in their understanding of God's Word and develop a deep and abiding relationship with Him.

Servant Leadership: To empower believers to serve God and their fellow human beings with compassion and excellence. We believe that true Christian discipleship involves a commitment to serving others and glorifying God in all aspects of life. Our goal is to equip believers with the necessary tools and resources to fulfill their God-given calling to serve.

To accomplish these goals, we are grounded in the Holy Scriptures, which we believe are the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We are committed to teaching and upholding the truth of God's Word, so that believers may be edified and grow in their knowledge of Him.
