PUBLIC LECTURE FOR THIS SUNDAY, IN SHA'A ALLAAH

At a time when some voices are openly denigrating the noble Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, it becomes essential for us to revive their honour and understand their true status in Islam.

REPORT ON THE PROGRESS AND UPCOMING PROJECTS OF THE MOSQUE

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Dear Esteemed Supporters,

AlhamduliLlaah, we extend our deepest gratitude to you for your unwavering support since the inception of our mosque project. As Allaah wishes, through your generosity, we have made significant progress in building and improving this house of Allaah. We pray that Allaah rewards you abundantly, blesses your wealth, and grants you a house in Jannah.

As we continue our efforts, we are pleased to present the subsequent phases of the mosque project:

1️⃣ Toilet Project (2nd & Final Phase) – Now in progress
2️⃣ Plastering of the exterior parts of the mosque
3️⃣ Tiling of the interior parts of the mosque & staircase
4️⃣ Art work and painting

CURRENT PROJECT: TOILET CONSTRUCTION (2ND & FINAL PHASE)

AlhamduliLlaah, we have officially started this project today, Monday, March 31, 2025 (2nd Shawwaal 1446 AH), using the remaining cash balance from previous projects, which amounts to N100,000.

BUDGET BREAKDOWN FOR THIS PHASE

Plumbing work – N330,000

Tiling work – N430,000

Aluminum doors (2 pcs) – N120,000

Excavation & Other Related Expenses – N57,300

Miscellaneous Expenses – N12,700

Total Needed – N950,000

With N100,000 already available, we urgently need N850,000 to complete this phase.

WORDS OF APPRECIATION
RAMADAAN 1446AH / 2025CE

As we conclude our Ramadan Programme for this year (1446AH / 2025CE), we express our utmost gratitude to Almighty Allaah, who granted us ease and success. May He accept our humble efforts and forgive our shortcomings.

Allaah says:
"If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshipping none but Allaah), I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are thankless (i.e., disbelievers), verily My punishment is indeed severe." (Q14 [Ibraheem]: 7).

TO OUR DONORS & SUPPORTERS

We sincerely appreciate each and every one of you for your kindness and generosity.

AlhamduliLlaah, we received a total sum of Three hundred and fifteen thousand Naira (N315,000) in donations from you all. This is truly remarkable. May Allaah bless you abundantly and never deprive you of its reward.

From the donations received, we spent Three hundred and six thousand, one hundred Naira (N306,100) on the programme. The remaining Eight thousand, nine hundred Naira (N8,900) is safely kept in the Masjid’s bank account.

To those who helped in spreading our broadcast, JazaakumuLlaahu khayran! By the will of Allaah, we achieved these milestones together. May our efforts be heavy on the scales of good deeds.

OUR SCHOLARS AND TEACHERS ARE APPRECIATED

Throughout Ramadaan, we were blessed with soul-stirring lectures and admonitions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (although only two Sundays this year). These inspiring sessions were delivered by our esteemed scholars:

May Allaah reward them immensely and preserve them upon righteousness.

OUR CONGREGATION DID WELL

Though small in number, our congregation is truly exceptional. Their unwavering support — whether through financial contributions, time, or energy — was remarkable. May Allaah reward you all abundantly.

A special appreciation goes to our womenfolk in the Masjid, who tirelessly cooked, served others, and ensured the Masjid remained clean. May Allaah grant you all Al-Jannah.

IN CONCLUSION

We pray that Allaah forgives our shortcomings and accepts our supplications, prayers, fasting, Qur’aan recitation, and every other righteous deed. May He grant us long life in sound health and unwavering faith. And may we not leave this world except in a state of Islaam. Verily, Allaah is the Answerer of prayers.

WE NOW HAVE N200,000 FOR OUR MOSQUE ALUMINUM WINDOWS

...N50,000 was received as an additional act of charity in honour of our late brother, Ibraheem Lawal (may Allaah have mercy upon him).

With gratitude to Allaah for His blessings, we are pleased to inform you that our benefactors, who recently donated N150,000 for the mosque in memory of our late brother Ibraheem Lawal - may Allaah forgive him and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus - have generously added an additional N50,000 to the fund this night. This contribution was made after a follow-up appeal to fully fund the installation of 4 aluminum windows and a smaller window for the toilet area in the female section of the mosque, dedicated to our late brother. Alhamdulillah, this brings the total to N200,000 for this phase of the mosque project.

We pray that Allaah, the Most Generous, rewards all who have contributed and facilitated the fund. I personally thank my good friend, Mallam Waliyy Sh*ttu for his kind gesture. May Allaah accept it from all, forgive our late brother and grant each one of us a blessed end.

We would also like to recognize the brother handling the aluminum window installation. A former congregant, he previously donated all the aluminum windows for the male section of the mosque. He is now completing this work for us at the cost of materials alone, without charging for labour & other related costs. May Allaah reward him abundantly and accept his efforts.
