A TESTIMONY OF OBEDIENCE, PRAYER & GOD’S FAITHFULNESS
“WHEN GOD GIVES AN INSTRUCTION, OBEDIENCE MATTERS.”
On Sunday, 30th August 2026, while ministering in church, God gave an instruction that we should gather in church on Tuesday, 1st September 2026, for a special revival service.
I communicated the instruction to the church, and God further instructed that everyone coming should come along with a bottle of water, a stick of white candle and olive oil.
On Tuesday, we gathered as instructed. From morning until about 4:00 PM, we prayed, praised and worshipped God.
During the prayers, we engaged the ministry of the Blood of Jesus the Christ, especially during the Hour of Victory prayers. The water and olive oil were presented before God in prayer, and we trusted God to bless and consecrate these materials for His purpose.
There was also a specific instruction concerning a church member who was not present at the service.
God instructed me to sow a seed of faith of ₦1,000 on behalf of that member, and I obeyed the instruction and prayed for her even in her absence.
THEN CAME THE TESTIMONY.
A few days later, following another instruction from God, I called the woman.
During our conversation, she told me what had happened to her.
On the Tuesday of the revival, she had gone to her office but discovered that she had forgotten her keys. Since she could not gain access to her office, she worked from outside and eventually returned home.
The following day, when she returned and opened the office, she noticed sprinkles of blood inside the office.
She rebuked that system, Yes, But she became sick.
It was during the phone call, when I contacted her as instructed by God, that she narrated everything that had happened. I reminded her of the prayers and encouraged her not to be afraid, because our confidence was in God.
The following day, I went personally to visit her and gave her some of the water that had been prayed over and blessed during the Tuesday service.
She drank the water.
Within a few hours, she experienced a significant change in her condition. By the following day, she testified that she was back on her feet and had received healing.
WHAT GOD TAUGHT US
This testimony is not about the candle, the water, the oil or the ₦1,000 seed.
It is about obedience to God, faith in His Word, the power of prayer, and the faithfulness of God to respond to His instructions.
We obeyed.
We prayed.
We trusted God.
And God did what only God can do.
The instruction may look simple, but never underestimate what God can do through obedience.
TO GOD ALMIGHTY BE ALL THE GLORY FOR THIS TESTIMONY.
