**Elisha told him to bath, he felt disgusted like: a whole me? to bath in river Jordan, whereas they are other clean, great, world-class, renowned rivers to bath? 2 kings 5:11-12
**One of his servants told him: had the Prophet asked him to do a big deal, would he not hearken to do so?
**He hearkened to the word, obeyed, bathed in Jordan and he recovered fresh flesh, today its one of the greatest miracles recorded and an all-time scripture reference event
Look inward:
1. Like Naaman, what qualities do you have? Education? Exposure? Charisma? Beauty? Grace? Popularity? Intelligence? Smartness? Sharpness or Brilliance?
2. What situation, issue, circumstance, aspect or limitation in your life gives you sorrow, bitterness of heart and draw tears from your eyes? Are you keen for the way out and solution God’s way?
3. You need information contained in revelation of God’s word which can be got by appearing in his presence.
4. Where do you worship? Is it a gathering of regular average church worshippers or a gathering of avid success mindset worshippers?
5. If you are in the right place of worship where God’s anointing for dominion and success in you can be sharpened, what is your acceptance of God’s opinion for your life as contained in his word revealed to you?
6. Are you like Naaman who initially looked himself to big to accept divine instructions giving directions to how the sorrow, stigma of his life can be removed forever? (Many times we receive divine instructions regards our requests, issues and challenges, we refuse God’s opinion and look at our inherent qualities to discard God’s opinion saying I am too educated to do that, I am too exposure to do this, with my beauty?? Please i can’t go so low to that level, what do you want my friends, family and people to say? Please no no no, this definitely can’t be God speaking, perhaps he’s talking to someone else etc.)
7. Borrow a leaf from Naaman, God is not to be mocked, He knows all things…. He can do all things; His ways are spiritual and supernatural using foolish and irrelevant things to confound man’s natural thinking and ways…..Eventually Naaman went into dirty river Jordan, dipped himself in 7 good times as instructed, and his lifetime sorrow disappeared……You should personally go back to God’s instruction and directions on what you should do; be it
a. Career
b. Marriage
c. Business
d. Relationship
e. Project and aspirations etc
Embrace God’s directions, He can never be wrong, He has good purpose for you and you shall come out smiling……...A winner!
NB: Mind you, a servant was instrumental in Naaman getting over his disgust which is a distraction that could have made him lose the miracle……. many times, we need people who are not up to us in ranking, profile, status, stature, education, exposure etc. to help us achieve results we so much desire BUT the big issues is
a. ARE YOU ACCESSIBLE?
b. ARE YOU ACCOMODATING?
c. DO GIVE LISTENING HEARS or Snub/Discard others’ words, advice
d. ARE YOU CHEERFUL or Harsh?
e. ARE YOU HOSPITABLE or Self-centered?
f. ARE YOU GENEROUS or Stingy?
It is obvious that Naaman was a good master, accommodating, accessible with listening hears to his servants and employees
God bless you as you digest this word and make necessary adjustments. Amen
