*PRAY IN THE SPIRIT ABUNDANTLY*

*1 CORINTHIANS 14:2, 14-15 (NLT)*
*For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people won’t be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious. *For if I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying, but I don’t understand what I am saying. Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand.…*

Speaking in tongues is a powerful supernatural ability we have received by which we can experience and manifest more of our supernatural life.

When you are speaking in tongues, you are speaking directly to God and your spirit is praying. Your prayers are therefore not limited by any ignorance, weakness, or discouragement that may be in your mind. As you pray from your spirit, strength, inspiration, and direction begin to come into your mind, so you can then pray better in your understanding. As you pray in tongues, you stir up the gifts of the Spirit in your life, and you activate supernatural manifestations in your life. You speak and declare glorious mysteries into your life. Speaking in tongues also builds and edifies your life. “But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit.” (Jude 1:10, AMPC). Remember that your tongue is like the rudder of a ship that determines the direction your life goes (James 3:4, CEV). As you give yourself more to praying in tongues, you will make your life go in the supernatural direction God has planned for you.

By praying in the Spirit, you are also able to effectively intercede for other believers (Eph. 6:18).

*SPEND SOME TIME PRAYING IN TONGUES RIGHT NOW. DECLARE MYSTERIES INTO YOUR LIFE, EDIFY YOURSELF, AND INTERCEDE FOR OTHERS.*

MEDITATION
In the quiet of Simon's home, as conversations murmured and the clinking of dishes echoed, an uninvited guest silently approached. Her entrance went unnoticed, her reputation preceding her—a shadow of shame and whispers. Yet, her focus was singular, her eyes fixed upon the One reclining at the table: Jesus.

With tears that spoke volumes, she knelt behind Him, washing away the dust and grime from His feet—a silent symphony of sorrow and adoration. Her hair, the veil of her dignity, became the towel of her service. In this moment, Jesus was her sanctuary, her heart laid bare before Him.

It was not the alabaster jar of perfume she broke open that captured the essence of her transformation—it was the breaking open of her heart. In the presence of the Divine, she found a love that eclipsed the darkest corners of her life.

Then, with the tender authority that both calms the storm and stirs the soul, Jesus spoke into her brokenness: "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." It was a declaration of liberation, a dismissal of every chain that had bound her. No prescription for redemption, no burden of penance—only the profound, resonant peace of the forgiven.

To you, cherished one, who may feel weighed by the echoes of your history, hear this: in Christ, you are not defined by the chapters already written. The peace that Jesus offered to the woman who dared to love Him extravagantly is the same peace He extends to you. Embrace it, walk in it, and let the peace of God chart a new course for your tomorrow. Like her, you are called to rise, to leave the remnants of your past, and to step into the harmony of His grace. Go in peace.
