Preservation means keeping something intact or keeping it in good condition
There must be a purpose and reason for preserving a thing. Purpose is the reason for existence. A man does not have a purpose of his own; his purpose is found in God's plan.

In the Preservation work of God for Man, There Are:
1. Divine strength
2. Divine security
3. Divine safety
4. Divine encouragement
5. Divine fortification
6. Divine help or helpers

God preserves us for His purpose, and as vessels carrying His content, we are kept by His strength, security, safety, encouragement, fortification, and help.

*Service to God is a tangible and intangible commitment to God activities.

Every child is a heritage from God. God has a purpose and a structure for every child in every home, and having a child is a blessing to the parents.

The Bible likens children to arrows in the hand of a warrior. Arrows are prepared to fight battles from a distance and to reach places the warrior may not be able to reach. In the same way, children have a responsibility to support, protect, and strengthen their parents, especially as they grow older.

As parents age, there are things they may no longer be able to do as they once could. This is where the responsibility of the child becomes important.

Therefore, every child should understand what it means to be a heritage of God and recognize the responsibility they carry within their home.

📌GOLDEN TEXT:
"The city and all in it are to be devoted to the LORD. Only Rahab the pr******te and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent." (Joshua 6:17)

LESSONS DEDUCED:
● Repent of your sins and activate faith in the LORD. Rahab repented of prostitution and activated faith in the LORD God of Israel.
● Be kind to strangers. Rahab's kindness to the spies saved her and her family.
● Obey God fully. This is the secret of success and prosperity.
● Trust God for victory over life's battles.
● Keep your promises. Although Joshua was not there when the spies promised Rahab on behalf of the people of Israel, he honoured the promise and kept it.
