Christmas Carol is more than just singing songs it's a joyful expression of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It’s a season where believers gather to rejoice, reflect, and share the good news through hymns and spiritual songs.
Carol brings unity, peace, and a deep sense of worship. When we sing songs like “Silent Night” or “Joy to the World,” we are proclaiming the love and light that entered the world through Jesus.
It’s also an opportunity to evangelize many hearts are open during this season. So let your voice not just sing but minister. Let every lyric carry a message of hope, salvation, and God’s unfailing love.
Bible verse:
Luke 2:14 – "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"
Let’s celebrate meaningfully, knowing the reason for the season is Jesus.

Understanding tithe

Tithing is a biblical principle that means giving one-tenth (10%) of your income or increase back to God. It is not a donation or charity—it’s an act of obedience and worship that acknowledges God as your source and provider.

Why Tithe?

1. Obedience to God: Tithing is a command. In Malachi 3:10, God says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse…”
2. Supports God’s work: Tithes help maintain the church, support pastors, and fund ministries.
3. Opens doors for blessings: The same verse in Malachi promises, “...and see if I will not throw open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing…”
4. Teaches trust: Tithing helps us rely on God, not money.
5. Breaks greed and selfishness: It shifts focus from possession to purpose.
Common Misconceptions:
- Tithe is not only Old Testament; Jesus acknowledged it in Matthew 23:23.
- Tithing is not about giving under pressure, 2 Corinthians 9:7, reminds us to give cheerfully.
- God doesn’t need your money, but He wants your heart and obedience.
Encouragement:
Tithing may not always be easy, especially when finances are tight, but when done in faith, it leads to supernatural provision. God honors faithful stewards. Start where you are, and trust God to supply your needs.

Remembering the Giver of the Harvest
Text: Psalm 67:5-7, Deuteronomy 8:10-18

Harvest thanksgiving is a time to return to God with gratitude for all He has done spiritually, physically, financially, and in every area of life.
1. God is the Source of the Harvest (Deut. 8:18):
- All increase comes from God.
- Your strength, wisdom, and opportunities are all from Him.
- Never forget the Giver in the midst of the gift.
2. Thanksgiving is a command (Psalm 100:4):
- God expects us to return like the one l***r (Luke 17:11–19).
- Thanksgiving opens doors for more blessings.
3. What to Thank God For:
- Life, health, provision, protection, favor, unseen battles He fought, etc.
- It’s not just about farm produce—it’s about any kind of increase.
4. How to Thank God:
- Through songs, testimonies, dancing, cheerful giving, and a heart of worship.
5. Blessings That Follow Thanksgiving (Psalm 67:6-7)
- More increase
- Divine favor
- Open doors
- Preservation of harvest
Don’t come empty. Come with a grateful heart. Whatever you have, thank Him with it. Your thanksgiving today prepares the ground for your next harvest.
Reflect on what God has done, and give Him your best in thanksgiving,in words, actions, and offering.

Finding Your Purpose
Jeremiah 29:11
Finding your purpose is not just about chasing success, it's about discovering “why” you were created. Everyone was born for a reason, and deep inside each of us is a unique assignment from God.
Your purpose is where your passion, your gifts, and God's will meet. It may not always come all at once, but as you walk with God, obey Him daily, and pay attention to your strengths and burdens, He begins to reveal it.
Key Points:
1. Start with God – He is your Creator. You can't know your purpose without knowing Him.
2. Pay attention to your gifts – What do you do naturally well? What excites you?
3. Notice your burdens – What problems do you feel called to solve?
4. Serve others – Sometimes, purpose is revealed while helping people.
5. Be patient – Purpose is a journey, not a one-time discovery.
-Jeremiah 29:11
When you find your purpose, you stop competing and start becoming. Stay close to God, He will lead you.

Correcting each other in the family should be done with love, humility, and patience, not anger or pride. Here's a simple talk on it:
In every family, misunderstandings and mistakes will happen. But what keeps a home peaceful is how we correct each other. Correction is not to shame or attack, but to build up. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:1, “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

When you want to correct your spouse, children, or siblings:
1. Pray first – Ask God for the right words and a calm spirit.
2. Pick the right time – Not when the person is angry or tired.
3. Speak with love – Avoid shouting or blaming. Use words like “I feel” instead of “You always...”
4. Be open to correction too – It’s not one-sided. Accept feedback with humility.
5. Focus on the issue, not the person – Correct the action, not their character.
A family that corrects each other gently grows in love and unity. Correction should always lead to healing, not more hurt.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

A Godly mother-in-law

A godly mother-in-law should treat her daughter-in-law with love, patience, and respect, just like she would treat her own daughter. The relationship should not be one of competition or control, but of peace, mentorship, and support.
Remember, your son’s wife is now part of your family. She's not a stranger, but a blessing added to your household. Your kindness, wisdom, and encouragement can help her feel secure and loved, which in turn strengthens your son's home.
Don’t interfere in their marriage, but be available when needed. Speak life, pray for them, and show them Christlike love. Avoid comparing her or criticizing her harshly. Be an example of a godly woman she can learn from.
Let love, wisdom, and godliness guide the relationship. When the mother-in-law shows grace, the home is blessed.
