*LENTEN SEASON GREETINGS TO ALL MEMBERS OF IFAKO DIOCESE*
Beloved in Christ,
Peace of God be unto you now and always!
As we enter this solemn and sacred season of Lent, I warmly greet you all.
Lent is a time of deep reflection, sincere repentance, fervent prayer, and renewed commitment to our walk with God. It is a season that calls us to draw nearer to the Cross and to prepare our hearts for the joy of the Resurrection.
The Bible reminds us in *Joel 2:12: "Turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning."*
This Lenten season will inspire us to examine our lives, strengthen our faith, forgive one another, extend love and compassion to those around us.
Let us devote ourselves to prayer, fasting, and acts of charity, trusting that God will renew our strength and restore our joy.
As we journey through these forty days, the Holy Spirit will guide us, purify our hearts, and deepen our relationship with Christ.
It will bring spiritual growth, divine favour, and abundant grace to every family in our Diocese in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
Wishing you a blessed and fruitful Lenten Season.
Yours in His Service,
*The Rt. Rev. Samuel A. Adeyemi.*
Bishop, Ifako Diocese.
