DO NOT FEAR!
Matt.24.6 - You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
It would be foolhardy of anyone to deny the threats to life and existence that are exponentially increasing all around us. I cannot remember the last time I watched the news in recent times without hearing of killings, kidnaps, wars, hunger, corruption, etc.
After 7 years under this administration, it is looking like they are not letting up. 2023 is already looking like a remake of 2015.
And men's heart are failing them...I met someone whose BP shot out of control just because of the outcome of the APC primaries.
The first question that comes to mind is "how do we escape these things?"
Japa? I'm sorry but have you seen any of these international news lately? 11 mass shootings in one weekend in the US, increased racism in Europe and the UK, Russia-Ukraine, etc.
Here's what the Bible instructs us to do, "let not your heart be troubled!"
This is Spiritual Warfare now. It is time to do 2Cor.10.5 - We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Every thought that promotes fear must be deliberately dealt with using the word of God. Do not give the devil a foothold.
Be vocal with the word, "my foot will not be moved".
Stay victorious saints, He that keeps you will never sleep nor slumber.
