Bishop RBC’s visit was truly impactful. 🙌🏽

He emphasized the importance of finding our way into the spaces where decisions are made concerning our beloved country. Because if we desire to see change, we must be willing to become part of the process.

You cannot change a system you are not part of.

Here’s a glimpse of some of the powerful things he shared. 🇳🇬

The Feast of Atonement (Yom Kippur)
A Sacred Invitation to Pause, Reflect and Be Cleansed

Yom Kippur is the most solemn and Holy day in the biblical calendar, a Sabbath of Sabbaths set apart for humility, fasting and deep reflection. It is a day to step away from the noise of life, search our hearts, confess our sins and seek the cleansing that only God can give.

"The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves... for on this day shall atonement be made for you to cleanse you." Leviticus 23:27-28

We gather not for our regular religious activities but to experience real freedom to let go of burdens, make amends and receive grace. Whether you are a seasoned observer or simply seeking a deeper connection with God, you are welcome. Come with a humble heart and a willing spirit.

· Please Note: This is a day of fasting
· Attire: Modest and respectful (white garments are customary)

"For on this day shall atonement be made for you to cleanse you. You shall be clean before the Lord from all your sins." Leviticus 16:30.

We look forward to seeking the Lord together on this most holy day. Shalom.

A Holy Convocation, The Feast of Trumpet

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Leviticus 23:24

Join us as we gather to honor Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets.
Let us come together to hear the blast of the Shofar, to worship and to prepare our hearts for the High Holy Days.
Shalom
