TOPIC: WISDOM KEYS FOR SURVIVAL.
SCRIPTURE: And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him. Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him. 1 SAMUEL 18:14–15.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It takes the mentality of God to handle the calamities of life.
It is imperative to note that we live in a very wicked world. It requires the help of God through the deployment of Divine strategies to survive and succeed in our world today. Hazards or dangers abound everywhere you turn. We hear news of unfortunate and horrific incidents on television, radio, and in newspapers almost every day.
This is not to scare you, but to create a sense of awareness and the need for spiritual fortification by the Wisdom and Power of God.
Now, it is important to explore the Divine strategies for survival and triumph in times like this.
Today, we shall be looking at one of the strategies for survival which is the deployment of the Wisdom of God.
The wisdom of God is required for surviving dangerous times. It takes the mentality of God to handle the calamities of life. Wisdom carries preservation power.
David behaved himself wisely, and the Lord was with him (1Samuel 18:14–15), so, it was impossible for him to be destroyed by Saul. Wisdom attracts the Presence of God and invokes terror against the enemy. The truth is, when a person walks in Divine wisdom, the enemy becomes afraid. When you are wise in the Spirit, you become a terror to hell.
Wisdom brings deliverance, while foolishness brings destruction. Many lives have been destroyed not by the power of the devil but by the power of foolishness.
Now, what are the wisdom keys for survival? We shall be looking at three of them today.
