Sermon: True Love Never Ends
Text: 3:16

Introduction
True love is the kind of love that comes from God. Many people talk about love, preach about love, and even act as if they love, but not every love is genuine. Some love only when things are good, while some love because of what they can gain. But the love of God is pure, sacrificial, enduring, and everlasting.
God demonstrated true love by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ, for the salvation of mankind. That is the greatest example of love. True love is beyond ordinary feelings; it is action, sacrifice, patience, forgiveness, and commitment.

WHAT IS TRUE LOVE?
True love is:
Sacrificial
Selfless
Pure
Enduring
Merciful
Forgiving
God showed true love to humanity through Jesus Christ.
“Love is patient, love is kind… Love never fails.”

EXAMPLES OF TRUE LOVE IN THE BIBLE
1. Abraham’s Love and Obedience

Abraham obeyed God and was willing to sacrifice Isaac because of his love and faith in God. God blessed him because of his obedience.
2. God’s Love for David
David was called a man after God’s own heart because he loved God sincerely.
3. Jesus Christ The Greatest Example
Jesus humbled Himself and died for mankind. His love brought salvation to the world.

CHARACTERISTICS/ATTRIBUTES OF TRUE LOVE
1. True Love Does Not Give Excuses
People who truly love God obey Him wholeheartedly.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
2. True Love Sacrifices
Love involves giving and helping others sincerely.

“But to do good and to communicate forget not…”
3. True Love Does Not Gossip or Hate
True love protects and forgives others.

“Let all bitterness, and wrath… be put away from you.”
4. True Love Is Transparent
A person with genuine love hides nothing evil.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God.”
5. True Love Comes Back
Whatever good you show in love will return to you.

“Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

HOW TO WALK IN TRUE LOVE
*Pray for a pure heart.
*Forgive others quickly.
*Help people genuinely.
*Avoid hatred and gossip.
*Love God above all things.
*Be willing to sacrifice for righteousness.

CONCLUSION
True love never ends because it comes from God. The greatest love ever shown was when Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. Genuine love is not by words alone but by action, sacrifice, forgiveness, and obedience to God.

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
May God help us to walk in true love in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Sermon: Character Adjustment
Text: Romans 1:18–32

Introduction
Character is very important in life. Nothing is impossible when you have a good character. A good character helps a person to go far in life. You need to have a good character because it makes people trust you and give you responsibilities, contracts, friendship, leadership, marriage, and opportunities.
Bad character destroys relationships, families, churches, and destinies. God is interested not only in our appearance but also in our character.
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men…
Romans 1:18–32 explains how people turned away from God and allowed sinful character to control their lives. God wants believers to adjust their character and live a holy life.

What is Character Adjustment?
Character adjustment means changing from bad behavior to godly behavior. It means allowing God to transform your life, attitude, speech, and actions.
“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
— Romans 12:2

Why We Should Adjust Our Character
1. To Please God
God loves holiness and good conduct.
“Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
— 1 Peter 1:16
2. To Become Better Christians
A believer must show Christ-like behavior.
“Let your light so shine before men…”
— Matthew 5:16
3. To Build a Peaceful Family
The beauty of a church and family is when the home is sound and peaceful. Parents must lay good examples for their children.
“Train up a child in the way he should go…”
— Proverbs 22:6
4. To Gain Trust and Respect
Good character makes people trust you.
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches…”
— Proverbs 22:1
5. To Avoid Destruction
Bad character leads to shame and destruction.
“Evil communications corrupt good manners.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:33
6. To Live Peacefully With Others
We must avoid anger, envy, bitterness, and hatred.
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”
— Romans 12:18
Areas Where Character Adjustment is Needed
Anger
Jealousy
Bitterness
Pride
Lying
Gossip
Stealing
Immorality
Disobedience
Unforgiveness

Are you living peacefully with others?
God wants us to work on ourselves and remove anger, envy, bitterness, and every ungodly behavior. Good character opens doors, while bad character destroys opportunities.
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith…”
— 2 Corinthians 13:5
May God help us to adjust our character and live lives that glorify Him. Amen.

Sermon: Character Adjustment
Text: Romans 1:18

Introduction
Character adjustment means aligning our lifestyle, attitude, behavior, and conduct to suit the will of God. It is the process of allowing God to transform us from worldly habits into Christ-like living.
Many people desire blessings, greatness, favor, and success, but God is more interested in our character than our possessions. Wealth, position, beauty, education, and influence cannot replace good character.
Pride is one of the deadly diseases that destroys destinies faster than many physical sicknesses. Pride has ruined homes, ministries, relationships, careers, and spiritual lives. God wants His children to live in humility, holiness, wisdom, and righteousness.
As Christians, we are representatives of Christ on earth. Therefore, our character must reflect Jesus. Just as bible said,if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Reasons Why We Should Adjust Our Character
1. To Please God
God hates ungodliness and unrighteousness. A bad character displeases God.
Book of Proverbs 6:1...
These six things doth the Lord hate…
God expects His children to reflect holiness and righteousness.
2. Because We Represent Christ
Every believer is an ambassador of Christ. People judge Christianity through our behavior.
Gospel of Matthew
“Let your light so shine before men…”
A Christian should be a good representative of Christ in speech, attitude, dressing, honesty, and conduct.
3. Bad Character Destroys Destiny
Many gifted and talented people failed because of pride, anger, immorality, dishonesty, and lack of self-control.
In Proverbs
“Pride goeth before destruction…”
Character sustains what talent cannot sustain.
4. Good Character Brings Honor and Promotion
Wisdom and good conduct qualify people for greatness.
Book of Proverbs
“Wisdom is the principal thing…”
Joseph, Daniel, and Esther were promoted because of their godly character.
Psalms
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
Many people fall because they refuse correction and discipline.
5. Spiritual Maturity Comes Through Character Adjustment
No matter how gifted or educated a person is, spiritual growth is revealed through character.
Epistle to the Ephesians
God wants believers to grow into maturity and stability.

Areas Where Christians Need Character Adjustment
Pride
Anger
Gossip
Jealousy
Dishonesty
Immorality
Bitterness
Lack of forgiveness
Laziness
Disobedience

How to Adjust Your Character
1. Study the Word of God
The Word transforms the mind and behavior.

2. Pray for Transformation
Only God can truly change a person.“Create in me a clean heart, O God…”
3. Avoid Bad Company
Wrong association corrupts good manners.
4. Submit to Correction
Correction produces wisdom and maturity.
5. Allow the Holy Spirit to Lead You
The fruit of the Spirit produces godly character.

Conclusion
Character adjustment is necessary for every believer. God is looking for Christians whose lives reflect holiness, humility, wisdom, and righteousness. Talent, money, and education are good, but without godly character they can become dangerous.
As believers, we must daily examine ourselves and allow God to reshape our lives according to His will. When our character changes, our life, family, ministry, and destiny will also change.

Prayer Points
Lord, help me to live a life that pleases You.
Father, remove every bad character from my life.
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Give me the grace to overcome temptation.
Help me to be a true representative of Christ.
Let the fruit of the Spirit be evident in my life.
Deliver me from pride, anger, and unrighteousness.
Help me grow into spiritual maturity in Jesus’ name.

Sermon: I know your Works
Text: Revelation 2:1–8
1 Kings 18:4; 1 Kings 19:1; 1 Kings 21:5; Psalm 139:1–4; Hebrews 4:13; Galatians 6:7–9

INTRODUCTION
The statement “I know your works” is a powerful declaration from God. It reminds us that nothing about our lives is hidden from Him. Our actions, motives, attitudes, and even secret intentions are all open before God. While men may judge outward appearance, God sees the heart and evaluates our works according to truth (1 Samuel 16:7).
In Revelation 2, Jesus speaks to the church, commending, correcting, and warning them because He fully knows their deeds. This message is still relevant today God is watching, evaluating, and responding to our works.

GOD KNOWS ALL OUR WORKS (Revelation 2:2; Psalm 139:1–3)
God’s knowledge is complete and perfect.
He knows what we do in public and in secret.
He sees our activities “in and out” (Psalm 139:2).
Nothing is hidden from Him (Hebrews 4:13).
Even when people pretend to be righteous, God sees beyond appearances. Our church attendance, service, and giving may impress people, but God examines the sincerity behind them.

THE DANGER OF HIDDEN EVIL IN THE CHURCH (Revelation 2:20)
In the Bible, Jezebel represents:

1.Opposition to God’s servants (1 Kings 19:1–2)
2.Manipulation and control (1 Kings 21:5–7)
3.False accusations and deceit (1 Kings 21:10)
4.A murderous and proud spirit (1 Kings 18:4)
Such influences can exist wherever people operate with:
Pride instead of humility
Control instead of submission to God
Deception instead of truth.

GOD’S CALL TO RIGHTEOUS WORKS (Revelation 2:5; Galatians 6:9)
God does not only expose evil; He calls us to repentance and restoration.
“Repent and do the first works” (Revelation 2:5)
Return to sincerity, love, and genuine service
Do good works with a pure heart
God rewards faithfulness. Even when unnoticed by men, He sees and will reward openly (Matthew 6:4).
NOTE: It is not too late to correct our works.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR WORKS (Galatians 6:7–8)
“*Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
*Good works bring eternal reward
*Evil works bring judgment
*Hypocrisy will be exposed
God is just he responds to every work accordingly.

CONCLUSION
“I know your works” is both a warning and an encouragement.
A warning to those living in hypocrisy, manipulation, and pride
An encouragement to those faithfully serving God in truth
God sees you. He knows your struggles, your service, your sacrifices and your secrets.

CALL TO ACTION
Examine your life today (2 Corinthians 13:5)
Repent from hidden sins
Reject every spirit of manipulation, deceit, and pride
Commit to righteous and sincere works

CLOSING PRAYER
Lord, search my heart and know my works. Remove anything in me that does not please You. Help me to walk in truth, humility, and righteousness. Let my life be a sweet aroma before You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

SERMON TITLE: HOW DOES YOUR ENVIRONMENT SMELL LIKE?
TEXT: Mark 6:1–4.

Introduction
In Mark 6:1–4, when Jesus came into His own country, the atmosphere was not conducive for His works. Familiarity, unbelief, and dishonor created a spiritual environment that resisted the miraculous. The question today is not about a physical smell, but a deeper spiritual reality:

what kind of atmosphere surrounds your life? Every life carries a fragrance either drawing God’s presence or resisting it.

Your Environment Carries a Spiritual Fragrance
The Scripture makes it clear that our lives are not neutral; they emit something. In 2 Corinthians 2:15, the Bible says, “For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ…” This means wherever you go, you release a spiritual scent. Your home, your workplace, your relationships everything around you reflects what is inside you.

Your Character Determines the Atmosphere Around You
Character is the source of your fragrance. Bitterness, anger, envy, and pride produce a toxic environment, while love, humility, patience, and kindness create a refreshing atmosphere. Galatians 5:22–23 speaks of the fruit of the Spirit, which produces a life that is pleasant and life-giving. What you carry within will inevitably manifest around you.

God Is Attracted to a Sweet-Smelling Life
God responds to lives that carry the fragrance of obedience and sacrifice. In Philippians 4:18, sacrifices offered in righteousness are described as “an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.” When your life becomes an altar of worship, your environment becomes a dwelling place for His presence.

Sin Pollutes the Spiritual Atmosphere
Sin has consequences beyond the individual it contaminates the environment. Isaiah 59:2 tells us that sin separates us from God. When sin is entertained, it brings heaviness, confusion, and spiritual dryness. Just as a bad odor repels, sin drives away divine presence and peace.

Righteous Living Refreshes Others

1.A righteous life is like fresh air in a suffocating environment. Matthew 5:16 encourages us to let our light shine so that others may see and glorify God. When you live right, people feel peace, joy, and comfort around you. Your presence becomes a blessing.

2.What You Entertain Shapes Your Atmosphere
What you listen to, watch, and engage in daily contributes to your spiritual climate. Philippians 4:8 instructs us to think on things that are pure, lovely, and of good report. Your environment is a reflection of what you allow into your heart.

3.Your Words Release Either Fragrance or Odor
Words are powerful carriers of atmosphere. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Words of encouragement, truth, and kindness beautify your environment, while negative and corrupt speech defiles it. Ephesians 4:29 further instructs us to speak words that edify.

4.Prayer and Worship Purify the Atmosphere
Prayer and worship act like spiritual incense. Psalm 141:2 says, “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense.” When you cultivate a life of prayer and worship, your environment becomes charged with God’s presence and open to divine encounters.
5.Company Influences Your Spiritual Fragrance
The people around you matter. 1 Corinthians 15:33 warns that evil communication corrupts good manners. Association can either elevate your atmosphere or pollute it. Walk with those who carry godly values and spiritual depth.

Be Intentional About Your Spiritual Aroma
Your environment is not accidental it is cultivated. You must consciously build a life that reflects Christ. In Colossians 3:12-14, we are urged to put on love, mercy, kindness, and humility. These are the fragrances of a Christ-like life.

Reasons Your Environment and Character Must Smell Good
*A sweet spiritual environment attracts God’s presence, as seen in Psalm 22:3, where God inhabits the praises of His people. It strengthens your fellowship with God and keeps your spiritual life vibrant.
*It makes you a vessel of influence and testimony. When your life carries the right fragrance, others are drawn to Christ through you (1 Peter 2:12).
*It creates peace and stability around you. A healthy spiritual atmosphere drives away confusion and fear (2 Timothy 1:7).
*It positions you for divine intervention. Just as Jesus could not perform many miracles in an atmosphere of unbelief (Mark 6:5), a right environment invites God’s power.
*It blesses others and transforms lives. Your environment becomes a channel through which God touches people.

Conclusion
Your life is constantly releasing something either a sweet aroma or an offensive odor in the spirit. The environment you create will determine what you experience from God and what others receive from you.
Let your life be like a sweet perfume before God filled with righteousness, worship, love, and purity so that wherever you go, heaven is attracted, and lives are transformed.

SERMON TITLE: Qualification of Baptism
TEXT: John 3:3 “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

INTRODUCTION
Baptism is more than a religious exercise; it is an identity marker. It shows that you belong to Christ. But beyond water baptism lies a deeper experience the baptism of the Holy Ghost which brings total transformation of life and character.
From your note, we understand that baptism should not only identify you outwardly but must also transform you inwardly. True Christianity is not just appearance; it is a changed life.

WATER BAPTISM VS HOLY GHOST BAPTISM
Water baptism is symbolic it represents cleansing and public declaration. But the baptism of the Holy Ghost is transformational it changes your nature.
John 1:33 “…He that sent me to baptize with water… the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.”
Ephesians 4:5 “One Lord, one faith, one baptism.”
1 Corinthians 1:17 — Paul emphasized that Christ sent him not just to baptize with water but to preach the gospel.
Water can wash the body, but only the Spirit can cleanse the heart.

THE HOLY GHOST BRINGS TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
*The Holy Ghost baptism changes your character, behavior, and desires.
John 7:37–39 “…out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water…”
2 Corinthians 5:17 “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”
Ezekiel 36:26 “A new heart also will I give you…”
*When the Holy Ghost comes, He removes the old nature and replaces it with God’s nature. Your speech, actions, and lifestyle begin to reflect Christ.

JESUS: THE SOURCE OF LIVING WATER
Jesus is the giver of the Holy Ghost and the living water that satisfies forever.
John 4:14 “…whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst…”
John 1:29 “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
Without Jesus, baptism is empty. In Him, it becomes life-giving.

WHY WE NEED THE HOLY GHOST BAPTISM
(i) For True Spiritual Transformation
You cannot live a holy life by your own strength. The Holy Ghost empowers you to overcome sin.
Galatians 5:16 “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
(ii) For Power to Live and Witness
Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”
The Holy Ghost gives boldness to stand for Christ.
(iii) For Guidance and Direction
John 16:13 “He will guide you into all truth…”
He leads you in decisions and protects you from error.
(iv) For Inner Satisfaction
John 7:38 The living water removes spiritual dryness and emptiness.
(v) For a Changed Character
Galatians 5:22–23 The fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, etc.) becomes evident in your life.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACKING THE HOLY GHOST
Without the Holy Ghost:
Your Christianity becomes mere religion.
There is no real change in character.
You struggle constantly with sin.
You lack spiritual direction.
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”

CONCLUSION
What we truly need is not just water baptism but the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Water identifies you, but the Spirit transforms you.
Let your life not just show that you were baptized—but prove that you are changed.

ALTAR CALL / PRAYER POINT
“Lord Jesus, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Change my life, my character, and my desires. Let Your living water flow through me, and make me a true reflection of You. Amen.”

SERMON TITLE: DESTINED FOR GREATNESS
Text: Jeremiah 29:11

Introduction
Something destined for greatness can face attacks, delay, and opposition but it cannot be stopped. Greatness is not a human invention; it is God’s original design. You were not created by accident. You were designed by God for a purpose, and that purpose is greatness.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you… thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
This means your greatness is already in God’s plan. It is not based on your hustle, your background, or your struggles it is based on God’s divine intention.

Understanding Greatness

Greatness is God’s original design, not human hard work alone. Hard work is important, but it does not create destiny it only aligns you with it.
Many people do not see greatness in their lives because they do not understand God’s thoughts toward them. When you don’t know what God has said about you, you begin to think small, live small, and expect less.
Note
The problem today is this,
Our thoughts are not in alignment with God’s thoughts.
The Bible says in Isaiah 55:8:
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways."
Man has never been able to bring true peace or lasting greatness on his own. There may be struggle, trouble, and confusion but only God can give true peace and lasting greatness.

Why Greatness Is Not Manifesting
One major reason greatness is not showing is ignorance.
You don’t know what God has already placed inside you.
Hosea 4:6 says:
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."
If you don’t know who you are, you cannot manifest what you carry.

Stages of Greatness

(1) Self-Awareness
You must first know who you are.
Many people are lost because they don’t understand their identity.
No greatness will come without knowing yourself.
Psalm 139:14:
"I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
(2) Self-Approval
Approve yourself before others approve you.
Stop waiting for validation from people. If God has approved you, that is enough.
Galatians 1:10:
"If I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
(3) Self-Contentment
Be content with who you are while growing into who God wants you to be.
Contentment is not laziness it is peace while progressing.
Philippians 4:11:
"I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content."
(4) Self-Fulfillment
People who know their God-given value will not settle for less.
Fulfillment comes when you begin to walk in your purpose.
2 Timothy 4:7:
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course."

How to Achieve Greatness
1. Develop a godly character
Proverbs 22:1 A good name is better than riches.
2. Build capacity
You cannot carry greatness with a small mind. Grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.
Luke 2:52 Jesus increased in wisdom and stature.
3. Stay focused
Distraction is an enemy of destiny.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus.
4. Avoid unnecessary competition
Run your race.
2 Corinthians 10:12 They comparing themselves are not wise.

Conclusion
You are destined for greatness. It may be attacked, delayed, or hidden but it cannot be destroyed.
God is thinking peace concerning you. Your future is secured in Him.
Align your thoughts with God, discover yourself, approve yourself, grow yourself, and walk in purpose.

Closing Charge
Tell yourself:
“I am not ordinary. I am destined for greatness. What God has written concerning me must come to pass.”
Romans 8:30:
"Whom He predestined, He also called… justified… and glorified."

Prayer:
Lord, open my eyes to see the greatness you have placed inside me. Help me align with your thoughts, grow in capacity, and walk fully in my destiny. Amen.
