THE BIBLE IN 365 DAYS PT 2
Day 120, April 30, 2026
Scripture Reading: Psalms 7:1-16

David, in this chapter, continued his cry to the Lord to come and rescue him from the enemies who sought his downfall, maintaining that he was innocent of the allegations levelled against him by his traducers.
Note: This series is designed to inspire you to read at least a chapter of the Bible daily. The King James and the New King James versions are used for references. Happy reading!

Verses 1-5
David began this chapter, as in the earlier chapters, with an S.O.S. to the Lord, requesting His immediate intervention to save him from the enemies who have set themselves to tear him into pieces, as lions do with their prey. Verses 1-2 captured his prayers thus: “O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; And deliver me, lest they tear me like a lion, rending me in pieces, while there is none to deliver”. If you leave the enemy, they will go to any length to make sure you are deleted from the face of the earth; hence this honest prayer by King David asking the Lord to come through for him, or else the worst will happen. You can ask Bro. Samson and his experience in Judges 16.1-21. To prove his innocence from the barrage of allegations around him in verses 3-5, David prayed to the Lord saying, “O Lord my God, if I have done this: If there is iniquity in my hands, If I have repaid evil to him who was at peace with me, Or have plundered my enemy without cause, Let the enemy pursue me and overtake me; Yes, let him trample my life to the earth, And lay my honor in the dust”. How many of us can boldly make this claim? How many of us can swear to have withheld themselves from wickedness even when there is every opportunity to do so? This is not sinning and asking for forgiveness, this is saying I have never been involved in it at all, but if, on the contrary, strike me.

Verses 6-9
Having proven his innocence, David pleads with the Lord to deal decisively with the wicked and all who sought his downfall as noted in verses 6-7, saying, “Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; Lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; Rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded! So the congregation of the peoples shall surround You; For their sakes, therefore, return on high”. He went to beckon on the Lord to arise because of they that trust in His name for the deliverance and salvation of their souls from the hands of the enemy. If the Lord keep silent, the enemy will stop at nothing to annihilate us from the face of the earth. In verse 8, we see David insist on the Lord judging him to see if he is guilty, as his enemies would suggest, to see if there is any integrity in him. He was not interested in taking undue advantage of his closeness to the father, but rather preferred that he be judged like every other person to prove his integrity. Would you do the same? For the unrighteous, David was not ready to spare them one bit; he said, “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: For the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins”. After all, the Bible says, “suffer not the witch to live”. See Exodus 22:18. So for David, the wicked must pay for all their wicked deeds.

Verses 10-17
David maintains openly that the Lord will always defend the righteous and upright, but His anger is on the wicked to reward them for neglecting the way that leads to eternal life. Furthermore, David has this damning verdict to declare about the wicked saying in verses 12-13, “If he turn not, he will whet his sword; He hath bent his bow, and made it ready. He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; He ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors”. Did you see that! The wicked who refuse to repent and accept the finished work of Christ are doomed because all that awaits them is pain, sorrow and death at the end. In verses 14-16, David showed that the evil imaginations of the wicked will certainly return to them and will not tarry. Remember, whatever a man soweth, he shall reap! See Galatians 6:7
Finally, verse 17 says, “I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high”. We need to show gratitude to the one who has saved us from the troubles around us daily through praises and thanksgiving for all He has done for us, as King David did here. Don’t be an ungrateful servant, as spoken of in 2 Timothy 3:2, which is a sign of the perilous times, but give thanks to God in all things.

Shalom and God bless you!

THE BIBLE IN 365 DAYS PT 2
Day 119, April 29, 2026
Scripture Reading: Psalms 6:1-10

David continues to pray to the Father, requesting that the Lord intervene in his matters and show him mercy rather than rebuking or punishing him in anger. This is because David understood how ferocious the Lord’s wrath can be.
Note: this series is designed to help you read at least a chapter of the Bible daily. The King James and New King James versions are used for references.

Verses 1-3
David began by appealing to the Lord not to rebuke him in anger for his sins, but rather to show him mercy due to his weakness occasioned by the troubles around him or the frail nature of man, as can be seen in verses 1-2, saying, “O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. The troubles around David have dealt with him so much that his bones have become weak, and as a result, they can no longer carry him due to the weight of his pain. So David’s cry to the Lord can be equal to an SOS. He went on to ask what can be described as a rhetorical question in verse 3, where he said, “My soul is also sore vexed: But thou, O LORD, how long?” The burden of the troubles around him is so hard that if the Lord does not come through, there will be no escape route for him. His prayers can be best described as an S.O.S and the Lord will never despise such. See Psalms 38:1, 41:4, 51:17

Verses 4-7
He went on to say in verses 4-7, “Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for thy mercies' sake. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In the grave who shall give thee thanks? I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies”. Unless the Lord delivers us from the wickedness of the wicked, we will be consumed by our grief. So David, in a bid to get the mercy of the Lord, gave an insight into what goes on with him in his closet at midnight. This experience is not particular to David alone, as many of us are also conversant with it because of the level of pain resulting from the relentless troubles orchestrated by the enemies that abound. This should be the cry of all who wait upon the Lord to save them. See Eccl. 9:10, Psalms 30:9

Verses 8-10
Having received the most sought-after relief from the Lord, David instructed the wicked to depart from him, saying, “Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. The LORD hath heard my supplication; The LORD will receive my prayer. Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: Let them return and be ashamed suddenly.” David rejoiced greatly at the intervention of the Lord and his subsequent deliverance from those who sought to eliminate him. Whenever we call on the name of the Lord, He shows up for those who do so from a clean heart, as we see here. I pray for you that whenever you call the name of the Lord, may he never turn His back on you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen. See Matt. 24:41, Psalms 3:4
Shalom and God bless you!

THE BIBLE IN 365 DAYS PT 2
Day 118, April 28, 2026
Scripture Reading: Psalms 5:1-12

This chapter contains David’s cry unto the Lord for guidance in a world filled with falsehood and wickedness.
Note: this series is designed to inspire you to read at least a chapter of the Bible daily. The King James and New King James versions are used for references. Happy reading!

Verses 1-4
David prayed in this chapter, requesting that the Most High God pay attention to his prayer and save him from all the troubles that assail him. Verses 1-3 capture it thus, “Give ear to my words, O Lord, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice, You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up”. NKJV. David made it very clear that he had no person to look to for help except the Lord, and it is He alone who hears his request. Our prayers should be directed only to the Lord, for He is our only hope for redemption from all the troubles surrounding us. David had an understanding of the God he is speaking about to be one who detests iniquity, hence his statement in the following verse 4 where he said, “For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You”. He doesn’t condone evil one bit! Never. So, anyone who must walk with Him or offer prayers to Him must avoid evil like a plague. See Psalms 4:1, Psalms 55:17.

Verses 5-9
As a joinder to verse 4, verses 5-6 have this to add, “The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: Thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: The LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man”. Dwelling in evil is the surest way to invite the Lord’s anger into our lives! Therefore, shun evil and do the right, or you are at the risk of His wrath. See Prov. 3:7-8, Psalms 1:5. While others live in evil, David chose a life powered by the mercy of the Lord and worshipped the Lord in fear, reverencing His holy name. In verse 8, he made a very passionate request to the Lord, saying, “Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; Make thy way straight before my face”. It is only the Lord that can lead us in the parts of righteousness, and no one else, because He is righteousness personified; it is His nature. So, to live a righteous life, we need His direction and leading. He also said that this leadership is important if he must avoid the pitfalls littering the way by the enemy. The reason for the prayer is not far-fetched, as seen in the following verse 9, “For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue”. Did you see that! There is no good that will come from the wicked but only destruction. See Psalms 55:23.

Finally, verses 10-12, David told the Lord to destroy the wicked for all their evil deeds to the righteous and spare the righteous. He categorically said in verses 11-12, “But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: Let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” It is the Lord who rewards the righteous by loading them daily with benefits. See Psalms 68:19. He also defends us from the fiery darts of the wicked, daily ensuring that no arrows come to us.
Shalom and God bless you!

Day 116, April 26, 2026
Scripture Reading: Psalms 3:1-8

David in this chapter affirms that the Lord will always help his own in time of trouble ensuring that they suffer no disgrace. This Psalm was written during his period of travail occasioned by the move of Absalom his son to usurp his government. This shows that the book of Psalms is not organised in a particular order.
Note: this series is designed to inspire you to read at least a chapter of the Bible daily. The King James and New King James versions are used for references. Happy reading!

Verses 1-4
David bemoans the barrage of problems that befall the righteous stating and the mockery of the enemy as seen in verses 1-2, “Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise against me. Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah”
‭‭Sincerely, it has never been a jolly ride for the righteous as the enemy would always do anything possible to drag him down. This was the experience of King David even though he was the king, yet he knew no peace throughout his lifetime. Don't be surprised when you experience the same. David was mocked for trusting in the Lord because they felt that their God could not save him. David unfazed by their barrage of insults and the attendant pain occasioned by the torrent of problems that assail, affirmed in verses 3-4, “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah”
‭It is the Lord who keeps His people from all the fiery darts of the wicked so that they don't hurt the righteous one bit hence this prayer. Jabez understood this as seen in 1 Chronicles 4:10 where he prayed that the hand of the Lord must always be with him so that no evil would come near him. It is the Lord who lifts His people from the miry clay and sets his feet on the higher ground.

Verses 5-6
The peaceful rest enjoyed by the righteous is at the behest of the Lord. It is He who keeps watch over us to save us from terror that goes by night. So verses 5-6 captured David saying, “I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around.”
‭‭Why should one be afraid when the Lord is with him? Indeed there is no cause for alarm when He keeps watch over flocks and no one can breach His security. See Psalms 91:5-12. In this same line, David said in Psalms 127:1 that except the Lord keeps the city, the watchmen watch in vain. It is the Lord who keeps his people from the dangers that assail ensuring that rest without the fear of anything. See Psalms 4:8. Therefore, you don't need to be afraid one bit dear!

Verses 7-8
David having acknowledged that it is only the Lord that can save him from all the dangers around as against the position of the wicked who earlier mocked him that there is no help in the Lord (verse 2), has this to say in verses 7-8, “Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. Salvation comes from the Lord and no one else, so it is only appropriate that David look up to Him for the salvation of his soul even though the enemy tried to mock him for trusting in the Lord. Our salvation in this life and even in the life to come can only come from the Lord, so having this knowledge, it is only apt that we trust in Him alone for the salvation of our souls. The Lord in saving His people, has thrown down the high and mighty in the process and none of them can put up a fight. The shield of the mighty the Lord has broken and his defence is no more, so don't be afraid. The devil is a toothless bulldog! He can only back but he can't do us anything for our protection and salvation is in the Lord. HalleluYah! Don't be afraid dear!

Shalom and God bless you!

THE BIBLE IN 365 DAYS PT 2
Day 115, April 25, 2026
Scripture Reading: Psalms 2:1-12

This is the 2nd chapter of the book of Psalms, and here David reflects on the encounter between the wicked and the Lord and the eventual victory over them.
Note: this series is designed to inspire you to read at least a chapter of the Bible daily. The King and New King James versions are used for references. Happy reading!

Verses 1-3
David started this chapter by asking what I consider a rhetorical question that went on this way in verses 1-3, saying, “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” The plans of the evil ones to hurt the Lord’s anointed and the Lord to a large extent will always be an effort in futility because the Lord will frustrate their plans and ensure they amount to a waste of their precious time and scarce resources. It is referred to as a vain thing because they are imagining what they don’t have the capacity to bring to pass. An example to prove this is the devil seeking God’s permission before he could harm Job in Job chapters 1-2 because he perfectly understood that he did not in any way possess the power to hurt him, hence his approaching God for permission. See Acts 4:25-27.

Verses 4-5
So in response to their ignorance, verses 4-5 say, He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure”. The phrase He sits in the heavens shall laugh” is a correct representation of what goes on in the mind of the Father when the enemy punches above their weight because He perfectly knows that they don’t have the power to hurt even a fly, as can be seen in the book of Matt. 10:28-31. All that the enemy is doing is to roar to instil fear in you, and when he succeeds, fear opens the door for every other thing to do the remaining. So don’t panic, the Lord is laughing at their ignorance till date and even in your case. In His anger, He will tear them in pieces, and there shall be no remembrance for them or whatsoever. Rejoice, for your God is in charge; the enemy can only propose and imagine vain things, but they cannot implement them.

Verses 6-9
To further assure us of His might, the Lord vowed to set as King over Zion, who makes His decree known to all the people, as seen in verses 7-9, “Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel”. This is His way of telling His chosen one that He had placed the earth under his feet, making the entire earth his territory. This passage speaks of two kings – one a physical king and the other a spiritual king who will rule over all the earth. So one can say that this place speaks of David and Jesus, whom the Lord chose to rule over His people and make His counsel known, bringing the disobedient into submission in the process. See Rev. 12:5, Hebrews 1:5-9, Psalms 89:20-29.

Verses 10-12
As a mark of warning, the Lord spoke to the Kings in verses 10-12 and said, “Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him”. The passage speaks for the now and the future, warning kings to act wisely by serving the Lord with fear and trembling and to embrace His chosen one, the son or risk being crushed in his fury, but for those who embrace Him, they would be blessed. When the Lord says that one would be blessed, it goes above financial blessings as we know to good health, all-around peace and many more. There is no peace for the wicked and all those who have taken to evil, but righteous will always prosper and rejoice in the God of their salvation. Choose the one you want for yourself.
Shalom and God bless you!

THE BIBLE IN 365 DAYS PT 2
Day 114, April 24, 2026
Scripture Reading: Psalms 1:1-6

This is the first of the 150 chapters in the book of Psalms, a book written by our most darling King, Prophet, and, to some extent, priest, popularly known as King David. This book is filled with his experiences with the Lord and the encounters with men. WELCOME TO THE BOOK OF PSALMS
Note: This series is designed to inspire you to read at least one chapter of the Bible daily. The King James and New King James versions are used for references. Happy reading!

Verses 1-2
The book of Psalms began with a blessing for all who walk in the way of the Lord, i.e. the Godly, the righteous ones. He said in verses 1-2, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” For anyone to enjoy the goodies that the Lord gives, he or she must desist from his/her evil ways and incline himself/herself with words of the Father always. The same thing He said to Joshua in Joshua 1:8 when he was to take over from Moses, saying, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” The Lord is interested in your obedience more than in sacrifices. Our prosperity is tied to our obedience to the word of the Lord more than any other thing else. See Prov. 4:14, Psalms 26:3-4, Psalms 119:14-16, 35.

Verse 3
When we do the above, our ways will be prosperous, and we will know no lack as captured in verse 3 below; “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper”. Kai! Imagine the level provision the Lord has in stock for those who will fear him and keep His words. It is the mind of the Father that His children will always be in a steady supply of all their needs as at when due, lacking nothing. You may now believe me that your struggles may not be unconnected with your refusal to do as expected in verses 1-2. He ends the verse by saying that whatsoever he does prospers. Did you see that! When the Lord says whatever He means, every one of His words comes to pass. If he plants, it flourishes; if he marries, the marriage is successful. Anything and everything he does prospers. Glory to God! See Psalms 92:14-16, 35, Gen. 39:2-3.

Verses 4-6
Turning to the ungodly, the Lord said it’s not the same with them. He said regarding the wicked in verses 4-6, “The ungodly are not so: But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish”. Did you see that! The wicked will not enjoy anything that the righteous enjoys, but rather will live a life full of pain and disappointment. They would be like chaff before the wind, which fades in a twinkle of an eye. They are here with us today, but tomorrow they are gone with no remembrance in sight for them. The choice is yours to make, but while you make this choice, remember Deut. 30:19, which says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live”. You can decide how you want your life to go, but don’t blame anyone when the result comes. The Lord made it clear that the wicked would perish, tribe and status notwithstanding. As you read this, do a soul-searching about your life and make the needed amendments if there are any. See Job 21:17-18, Psalms 35:5, Isaiah 17:13
Shalom and God bless you!

THE BIBLE IN 365 DAYS PT 2
Day 113, April 23, 2026
Scripture Reading: Job 42:1-16

This is the chapter of Job and the end of his travails. Job in this chapter repented of his wrongdoing as pointed out by the Lord, and immediately his condition was turned around so that his later end became even better than the beginning. The Lord blessed him with fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys, twice what he had before. He also had seven sons and three daughters, signalling a glorious end.

Verses 1-6
Job, after listening to the rebuke from the Lord, repented of his ways and said to the Lord in verse 2, “I know that thou canst do everything, and that no thought can be withheld from thee”. Of a truth, the Lord can do all things except He opts not to, and no thought can be hidden from Him because all men are open before His eyes. See Gen. 18:14, Mark 10:27. Job felt remorse for his actions and accepted that he had not done well, having made false assertions and claiming that the Lord had not treated him fairly. He said in verses 2-3, “Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? Therefore, have I uttered that I understood not; Things too wonderful for me, which I knew not”. He acknowledged that he had spoken from an uninformed position, thereby speaking foolishly. He does not need anyone to tell him that he has bitten more than he can chew. But, sincerely, it takes a wise man to know when he has spoken as he ought not to. So in verses 4-6, we see Job become remorseful, saying, “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Therefore, I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes”. At this point, Job acknowledged that there is no way he can be justified before the Lord, so he humbled and submitted himself before the Lord.

Verses 7-9
Having restored the relationship with Job, the Lord turned to the three friends who peppered him throughout his travails and said in verses 7-8, “My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. Therefore, take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the right thing, like my servant Job”. KJV. Job’s friend made life difficult for him by continuously tormenting him with unkind words, and this provoked the Lord to anger, so as a punitive measure, the Lord ordered them to offer 7 cows and 7 rams as a burnt offering before Job for the forgiveness of their sins lest the wrath of the Lord fall upon them. This was the same Job they derided, humiliated and made a mess of; now they ve been mandated by the Lord to go back to him if they are to have any hope of forgiveness, or else they risk the wrath of the Father. Chai! Be careful how you demean and denigrate others because of their conditions, they may become your only hope tomorrow.

Verses 8-9
Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar had no option but to immediately do as directed by the Lord, and Job accepted their offering. See verses 8-9. Note: Job acknowledged his shortfalls and sought forgiveness from the Father, and when he got it, the Lord commanded his friends to do the same, but now through Job, whom they had accused of being unrighteous and the curse of his predicaments. Immediately, Job accepted them and their offerings, and the Lord accepted him. Dear, what is the need holding that grudges and the so-called offence, let it go, and the Lord will let go of your offence and shortcomings. When our ways please the Father, He makes us to be at peace even with our enemies. See Prov. 16:7. Verse 10 said something of great interest to all; it said, “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before”. Have you prayed for your enemies? Have you prayed for those who hurt and spitefully use you? The scripture instructs us to pray for them and not to pray against them, sir! See Matt. 5:44. It is worth noting that immediately, Job forgave his friends, the Lord forgave him and restored him even greater.

Verses 11-13
Like it was when the Lord turned around the captivity of Zion, all the acquaintances of Job, his brothers, his sisters, everyone came back to felicitate and rejoice with him. All those who mocked and denigrated him returned to celebrate the goodness and faithfulness of God upon his life. This time, they did not come empty-handed, but all came with various gift items. Dear those who mocked and made a jest of you and your conditions will gather to praise the name of the Lord for his faithfulness. Don’t lose faith, hold on to your confidence no matter what. See Hebrews 10:35, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.” So fast-forward to verses 12-13, “SO THE LORD BLESSED THE LATTER END OF JOB MORE THAN HIS BEGINNING: FOR HE HAD FOURTEEN THOUSAND SHEEP, AND SIX THOUSAND CAMELS, AND A THOUSAND YOKE OF OXEN, AND A THOUSAND SHE ASSES. HE ALSO HAD SEVEN SONS AND THREE DAUGHTERS”. Did you see that! No, I ask you, did you hear that? The latter end of Job was more glamorous, more splendid, more whatever good you can think of. The Job that lost everything, the Job that all his business partners deserted, the Job that even his wife deserted, has now become the toast of all. Everything that he lost was restored to him in double fold, and he had the same number of children. See Job 1:2-3, 10, 8:7.

Verses 14-17
To cap the blessings of Job, the Lord made his daughters the most beautiful among the daughters of men and their names were given as Jemima, Kezia and Keren-happuch, whom he gave possessions with their brethren, as seen in verses 14-15. When God blesses a man, He makes him outstandingly different from all and makes the man a wonder among all. Finally, verses 16-17 have this to say about the end of Job, “After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations. So Job died, being old and full of days”. Job died in good old age because the Lord was with him, and He alone can satisfy us with long life. See Job 5:25-26
Shalom and God bless you!
