TO MY
Give me the old time religion where the love for God brought us to church and not the needs at home
Give me the old time religion where Christians were living saints and not hypocrites
I want the old time religion where purity was celebrated and sin detested.
I want the old path where neither text messages nor voice call is used to remind the saints about service.
Give me the old path where persecution was a testimony and not a reason for back sliding
Give me the old path where saints were more heavenly conscious and not the world base Christianity of today.
The old path
The pews and benches
The crosses
The tears
The love built on trust
Where sisters married as virgins and not as single parents.
The old path where Christ was all
Husbands were loving;
Wives were supportive; and children were polite.
Women looked like ladies; Men looked like gentlemen; and children looked decent.
People loved the truth, and hated a lie.
Rejoicing sounded normal;
and crying sounded sincere.
Cursing was wicked; Drinking was evil; and divorce was unthinkable. Not where we are now. Divorce today preach tomorrow
We read the Bible in public; Prayed in school;
And preached from house to house.
To be called a Christian was worth living for;
S*x was a personal word. Homosexual was an unheard of word, And abortion was an illegal word.
Preachers preached because they had a message; and
Christians rejoiced because they had the VICTORY!
Preachers preached from the Bible;
Singers sang from the heart;
Sinners turned to the Lord to be SAVED!
A new birth meant a new life; Salvation meant a changed life;
Following Christ led to eternal life.
We have turned church to theatre
Alter to stage
The Gospel to motivations
Faith to management.
Being a preacher meant you proclaimed the word of God;
Being a deacon meant you would serve the Lord;
Being a Christian meant you would live for Jesus;
And being a sinner meant someone was praying for you!
Laws were based on the Bible;
Homes read the Bible;
And churches taught the Bible.
Preachers were more interested in new converts than new clothes and new cars.
Church was where you found Christians on the Lord's day, rather than in the park,
on the creek bank, on the golf course, or being entertained somewhere else.
Give me that old time religion
'Tis good enough for me!
Am tired of the new
Am tired of hypocrisy
Am tired of betrayals
I want the old

Am i lucky?? Or is just hard-working and Grace of God that help me to where I am today.

Could any reasonable person actually say that a benevolent spirit cracked palm kernel for my teeth? Or that I am a lucky dude? How lucky am I? I wouldn't like to be misunderstood as projecting myself here as I try to explain certain things about myself which some people misconstrued. I am not any lucky as no benevolent spirit cracked palm kernel for my teeth. People who don't know meanings of some proverbial or idiomatic or platitudinous expressions should stop using them. What made me lucky? Luck only comes to lazy people. It's lazy people who wait for luck. People who so much believe in fortuity.

I am still hustling. In fact, I have not started living. I am even regretting that almost at 28, I have nothing to point at, although very grateful to God for having assisted to open the road. I believe in daring. I am not afraid of whose toes to step on. I am not also afraid of tasks to undertake. I love taking risk. That's what defines me. I have never gotten anything on a platter of gold. The only difference is that God views my mind and heart and protects me from being eliminated.
The little contacts I have today I made myself. My father died when I was still in secondary school. There's no big name in my family. I have no relative upon whose name any member of my family could rise. So, how lucky am I? I only learn fast and follow people bigger than me. Once I have found you have what it takes, I won't leave you, even if you are disdaining me. Someday, you'll be convinced to think my way and help me.
My good followers leave your comfort zone now, take a step to start something you will be amazed at how much important you will soon be to your society.
Nobody will help you if you are not doing something.

THE PAIN OF IT ALL.

When I think of hindrance I think of one of the great hymn writer, Horatio G. spafford.
He was a successful businessman in Chicago in the 1800s.he decided to sell everything he had to become a missionary and go and help the lost and hurting in the middle East .
His family set sail first he stayed back to tend to final business arrangements.
During the voyage tragedy struck and everyone on the ship died, except one -his wife. Horatio received a telegram and was told of the horror.despite this terrible personal sadnesses,he didn't back down or compromise.
He brought his wife back to America, packed his bags,and they left for the other side of the world together.
When they got to a particular point of the journey the captain said, "Mr spafford, this is the Exact location where your children and others perished"
The pain of it all must have ripped his heart out .I am a father and I know how much it hurts me if my son suffers harm.
Yet notwithstanding this man never give up on him self.rather Horatio went below deck to his cabin and wrote these words:

When peace like a river attendeth my way,
When sorrows like Sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot you have taught me to say:
"It is well,it is well with my soul"

Horatio wrote this song in his time of pain.losing all his children in one day but he never give up.
"for if there's a will the must be a way"
Therefore rise up and be happy, look up opportunities are waiting for you in front .
Do matter what your problem is.;

I heard a word in my right ear as a prophet saying" it's well with you from today onwards.
You must celebrate in this festive season.
And hear this from me Incase if people have rejected you don't feel bad "me apostle chike Isaiah love you".

For Those of you who may whish to know more about Eagle city church and the secret behind our growth.

🦅 Eagle,s city :is a place of worship, formaly called faith adoration ministry its a mandate God gave to me to raise for him a prayer people, raising men from zero to hero.to make an ordinary man Kings and queen for the kingdom.
Our first service was held at divine mercy nursery and primary school .we use primary 1class, on wensday 27 of February 2017, 3 people in attendance,I and two other people .we use candle on night vigil for 2months before we were able to rent small tiger generator. At rate of #1000 pay a night considering our offering.

But today we have gone far we have not arrived but at least we are better than were we use to be.

Our vision statement

1) taking men back to Christ through the word of God.

2)Preaching the salvation message all over the earth.

3) raising son's and daughter of praise

4) releasing destiny's through prophetic word.

5) raising a prayer generation that can not be conquered by the devil.

Eagles city is more than a church it's a life style,we carry our selves like the eagles.
In Eagles city we respect each other ,
We preach love and practice it also.

Our secret

1) prayers,we pray alot and is showing on our body,and is working for us.
2) seriousness:don't joke with us when it comes to ministry work.i can Stave my self just to make sure that church of God match forward. I learnt it from my spiritual father,
3) endurance : I have never give up despite challenges . within this small period of time I have seen many things, critic's.allegation and threat to life but I never give up.
That's makes me to respect Father of faith who have been in the venyards for years.
Join this movement your life will not remain the same.
This is to let you know that you can still do well in ministry without being dibolic .
Let's stop here.i will continue next time.

"Friends, there’s almost nothing that God won’t do for the person who really wants to help other people and who is a Committed Servant and who is Quick in Obeying God. In fact, God guarantees this blessing. In Luke 18:29-30, Jesus says, “I guarantee this. Anyone who gives up anything for the kingdom of God will certainly receive many times more in this life and will receive eternal life in the next world to come.” When you care about helping other people, God assumes responsibility for your problems. And that’s a real blessing and the service that attracts blessings, for God is much better at handling your difficulties than you are. Therefore, serving only ourselves and our own self-interests never leads anywhere positive for anybody. I speak to Partners who are ready to support this commission and our outreaches, may God displace your enemies because of your service and place you on top to control your circumstances in Jesus name. Amen"
