Our Vicar Writes....

One thing I strongly believe is this: help can come from outside, yes, but greater strength comes when we build the people God has already given us.
I believe in raising people.
I believe in building capacity.
I believe that with committed hearts, trained minds, and Godโs help, there is almost nothing a Church cannot achieve.
At St Mary the Virgin, I do not see weakness;
I see potential.
I see gifts.
I see possibilities waiting to be awakened.
That is why I keep pouring myself into trainings, teachings, prayers, meetings, corrections, and leadership development.
Because I genuinely believe that if just 12 committed people catch the vision and submit themselves to growth, there is no limit to what God can do through this church.
Great things have never always started with crowds.
Sometimes, they start with a few people who simply decide to believe, stay committed, and grow together.
That is why our ๐๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ฆ, ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐ก๐ ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฆ means so much to me. A lot of prayer, preparation, energy, and spiritual burden go into them.

Today, 19th May, makes it 3 years and 5 months since I came to St Mary the Virgin.
In these years, I have taught.
I have trained.
I have prayed.
I have corrected.
I have laughed with many of you and shared life with you openly.
Not because I know more than everyone, but because grace has helped me.

I was not sent here to pamper immaturity.
I was sent to help us grow together.
Growth requires openness.
Growth requires consistency.
Growth requires unity.
Let us stop standing far away from what God is doing among us.
Let us stop unnecessary gossip and division.
Let us stop jumping around without stability.
A family grows stronger when its people grow together.
And please hear this from my heart: I did not come to St Mary the Virgin to โtry luck.โ God has been faithful to me for many years, even before coming here. The same God who has helped me can help us together, if we are willing to learn, stay united, and move forward with one spirit.
The future of St Mary is bright.
But brightness does not happen by chance.
It happens when people decide to grow.
Let us build together.
Let us rise together.
Let us become all that God has called us to be.
