JESUS IS COMING SOON!
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” Matthew 16:27 (KJV)
Knowing that Jesus Christ is coming again prompts you to get ready for His coming. Beloved, there are some children of God who live their lives as if they have no expectation of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is indeed coming again and the opening scripture buttresses it. He will come in the glory of His Father with His angels (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Beloved, there is also something special about His coming; He is coming with plenty of rewards for the faithful ones in Him (Revelation 22:12). This should create some excitement in those who are laboring for the Lord in His vineyard. Keep doing what you are doing for the Lord, bearing in mind that your labor will not be in vain if you don’t give up (1 Corinthians 15:58). You shall be rewarded here on earth and at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Beloved, serve the Lord with a pure heart and let others be blessed. Praise the Lord! Be ready!
Prayer Point: My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, thank You for making it plain that You will come again. Please make me always conscious of Your second coming in order for me to be ready to embrace You at Your coming and tell others to also be ready. Amen!
