Title: It's just a test!

Text: These are the nations that the Lord left in the land to test those Israelites who had not experienced the wars of Canaan. - Judges 3:1 NLT

There is a common question people ask when they go through trials and stress. Why me? The word of God provides the answer. God left some enemy nations in the land He had given the Israelites to test them and bring out the strength in them. When gold goes through fire it is not so that the fire can destroy the gold. It is so that the gold can be tested. It is so that the strength and the beauty of the gold can be exposed. The believer is like gold. God allows the fire of trials and trouble to test our faith.

What you are going through is not a death sentence but a test of your faith. Your faith is being tested to see whether you will still trust God. Your faith is being tested to see whether you will still follow God. Faith will always be tested by the trials and circumstances of life. Will you bless God or you will curse God. Will you still say that God is good? It's a test and every test has a reward for those who pass the test. Pass the test and keep faith in God and God will prove faithful to bring you through and out with a testimony.

Today's prayer: I will hold on to God through the wind and the storm, pass the test and possess the testimony after the test.
