*ARE YOU A SELLER OF JESUS?*

*"So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money." Luke 22:4–5.*_

*MESSAGE*
The betrayal of Jesus by Judas Iscariot remains one of the saddest and most wicked actions recorded in Scripture. Judas walked with Jesus, heard His teachings, saw His miracles, and shared in the privileges given to the other disciples. He was not a stranger to the truth; he was close to the Truth Himself. Yet, closeness to holy things does not automatically produce a holy heart. A person may be in the right company, hear the right messages, and participate in spiritual activities, yet still hide secret desires that are contrary to Christ. This is why every believer must sincerely ask, “Is there anything in me that can betray Jesus?”

Judas received the same training as the other disciples and witnessed the same power of God, yet his heart was not fully surrendered. He wanted a Messiah who would fulfil his own expectations, and when Jesus did not follow the path of earthly ambition, Judas opened his heart to greed, disappointment, and betrayal. Secret sin has a dangerous way of twisting the mind and corrupting spiritual values. A double-standard life may remain hidden before men for a season, but it cannot be hidden before God. Satan often looks for hearts that are nursing secret sin, bitterness, greed, pride, or selfish ambition, because such hearts become easy vessels for his destructive agenda.

Therefore, drive out every Judas tendency from your heart. Do not sell Jesus through hidden sins, compromise, greed, ungodly ambition, or a life that says one thing openly and practises another thing secretly. It is good to belong to a healthy church and relate with spiritually mature believers, but association alone is not enough. Each believer must personally submit to the truth of God's Word, grow in grace, and allow Christ to rule the heart. Judas went his own way, but the child of God must ask the Lord to show the right way and give grace to walk in it. Let your heart be loyal to Christ, your life be sincere before God, and your devotion be free from betrayal.

✍️ Examine your heart and renounce every secret sin, compromise, or selfish ambition that can make a person betray Christ.

*TOPIC: ENGRAVED ON THE LORD'S PALM*

_*"Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me." Isaiah 49:16.*_

*MESSAGE*
There are seasons when a person may feel discouraged and begin to wonder whether God has forgotten them. You may have prayed for a job for a long time, trusted God for a godly spouse, waited for healing, or believed Him for a breakthrough, yet the answer seems delayed. In such moments, the heart may be tempted to complain like captive Judah, saying, “The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.” But God answers with the tender picture of a nursing mother. He asks whether a woman can forget her nursing child. Even if such a thing were possible, the Lord declares that He will never forget His people.

The bond between a nursing mother and her child is very strong, yet God's love is even stronger, deeper, and more dependable. He does not merely say that He remembers us; He says that He has engraved us on the palms of His hands. This is not like writing with ink that can fade or pencil that can be erased. To engrave is to inscribe permanently, to carve deeply, and to mark in a way that cannot easily be removed. This means that God's people are continually in His thoughts and under His care. He sees us, knows us, remembers us, and carries our concerns before Him.

The Lord also says, “Your walls are continually before Me.” This speaks of the broken walls of Jerusalem, but it also reminds us that God sees the broken places in our lives. He sees the challenges, delays, tears, battles, disappointments, and silent burdens. Nothing about you is hidden from Him, and nothing concerning you is forgotten by Him. At the appointed time, He knows what He will do. Therefore, lift your heart in praise, because God can turn your pain into testimony and your broken walls into a place of restoration. He will never forsake His people, and He will never forget His promises, for we are permanently engraved on His hands.

*ACTION POINT*
Refuse discouragement and trust that God remembers you, sees your broken walls, and will fulfil His promises at the appointed time.

*WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2026.*

*TOPIC: NOT LABOURING IN VAIN*

_*"Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ: that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain." Philippians 2:16.*_

*MESSAGE*
God gives His people both the willingness and the ability to please Him. His grace works in us, yet we also have a responsibility to walk faithfully before Him. Christians are saved when they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, are being sanctified as the Holy Spirit continues His work in their lives, and will be finally saved at the resurrection of the saints. This is why salvation must not be treated carelessly. Paul warns the church to live in such a way that their running and labouring will not be in vain. A life that begins in Christ must continue in obedience, holiness, and faithful endurance.

One of the ways believers must guard their journey is by doing all things without murmuring and disputing. Murmuring is the spirit of grumbling and complaining, like the Israelites who journeyed from Egypt to Canaan but often provoked God through unbelief and dissatisfaction. Disputing is the spirit of unhealthy argument, contention, and bitter controversy. These twin evils can weaken fellowship, poison the heart, and distract believers from the heavenly race. A Christian may be active in church activities, but if the heart is full of murmuring, strife, and rebellion, such labour loses its beauty before God.

In the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, we must hold fast to the word of life. We are called to be blameless, harmless, and sincere children of God, shining as lights in a dark world. Our lives must exhibit the gospel we profess, and our witness must point unbelievers to Christ. If we stand faithfully in the Lord until the end, there will be joy on the day of Christ. Then our labour will not be wasted, our running will not be empty, and the Lord will smile upon us with the reward of faithful servants who have finished well.

*ACTION POINT*
✍️ Reject murmuring and disputing, and hold firmly to the word of life so that your labour in Christ will not be in vain.

*TOPIC: READING AND LIVING EPISTLE*

_*"You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men." 2nd Corinthians 3:2.*_

*MESSAGE*
Every Christian is called to be an epistle of Christ, known and read by all men. We are living letters through whom the world should see the reality of the gospel. Those who may not open the Bible may still read our lives, observe our conduct, and draw conclusions about the Christ we profess. In this sense, believers are letters of recommendation for the Lord Jesus, bearing witness to His saving power, His transforming grace, and His holy character. The Christian life must therefore be clear, sincere, and readable before God and before men.

The phrase “living epistle” is drawn from Paul's teaching to the Corinthians. He explains that the believer is not written with ink, but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on the fleshly tablets of the heart. This shows that true Christianity is first a work of the Holy Spirit within the heart, not merely outward morality or religious appearance. The Holy Spirit transforms, sanctifies, and enables the believer to live the life of Christ. When the heart is truly touched by God, the life begins to reflect the message of the gospel in words, attitudes, choices, and relationships.

Being a living epistle calls for a life of integrity, where our actions align with the teachings of Scripture. It is not limited to attending church on Sundays; it means allowing our faith to affect every part of life. Love, unity, kindness, patience, honesty, holiness, and humility must become visible in us. Jesus said that we should let our light shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. When our behaviour agrees with God's intention, our lives become a powerful witness to the truth of the gospel. Through such lives, many can be drawn to the knowledge of Christ.

✍️ Live each day as a readable letter of Christ, allowing your words, choices, and conduct to reflect the gospel clearly.

*TOPIC: THE POWER TO GET WEALTH*

_*"But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." Deuteronomy 8:18.*_

*MESSAGE*
The Bible teaches that prosperity within God's kingdom is rooted in covenant. A covenant is not a casual promise but a binding agreement initiated and sustained by God Himself. Throughout Scripture, God related with His people through covenant—from His covenant of blessing with Abraham to the New Covenant of grace established through Jesus Christ. Covenant prosperity therefore is not about selfish gain or worldly greed. It is about God empowering His people to flourish so that His purposes and promises may be established in the earth.

Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us that God is the true source of prosperity. The verse clearly declares that it is the Lord who gives the power to get wealth. Human skill, intelligence, or opportunity alone cannot explain success; behind every legitimate increase stands the grace of God. Wealth in this context is not the goal but a tool—a resource entrusted to believers for the advancement of God's kingdom. When God blesses His people, it is so that His covenant purposes may be fulfilled and His name glorified.

Yet God also warns His people about the danger of forgetting Him when prosperity comes. In Deuteronomy 8, Israel was cautioned that increase can lead to pride if the heart stops remembering the source of blessing. Remembering the Lord means recognising Him as the source, rejecting self-sufficiency, and honouring Him through obedience and generosity. Prosperity without remembrance leads to destruction, but prosperity anchored in covenant awareness produces lasting impact and generational blessing.

*ACTION POINT*
✍️ Take time today to thank God for every blessing in your life and commit to honouring Him as the source of all you have.
