HELP IN THE CAUSE OF ALLAH II

We are in dare need of supply of Arabic Hisnul Muslim (a book containing supplications culled from Qur'an and Sunnah, written by Said bin Ali bin Wahaf Al-Qahtani).

This is to cater for the spiritual needs of children at Jil Jadid Children Islamic Centre, Second Gate, Maikunkele, Niger State.

Brothers and Sisters, we will be needing copies of this literature way close to 50.

CHILDREN LECTURE REMINDER

Tommorow Sunday, 6th December, we'll be telling children about the Life of Sayyidina Umar (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) at Jil Jadid Children Islamic Resource Centre, Second Gate, Maikunkele, Niger State.

A big thank you to those who have being supportive especially financially towards the children's welfare. May Allah reward you beyond bounds.

Though the best way you can support us is by sending your kids to attend.

However you can still support the continuity of the programme in any other ways within your reach.

English will be the language of presentation and the presenter shall be Mallam Mohammed Ibrahim, and we'll be starting off by 9:00am (انشاء الله تالا).

Today is Wednesday, December 2, and we have deemed it fit to announce our Children Lecture Series scheduled for coming Sunday.

Mallam Mohammed Ibrahim will be telling the children about the "Life History of Sayyidina Umar (RA)".

Venue remains Jil Jadid Children Islamic Resource Centre, Second Gate, Maikunkele, Niger State. It will begin from 9:00am prompt.

Date: Sunday, 6th December, 2020.

Language of Presentation: English

AND WE ARE STILL ASKING PARENTS FOR SUPPORT FOR:

1. Copies of extra-large Arabic Qur'an for Tajweed classes.

2. A single plastic chair and table.

3. Copies of Hisnul Muslim (Book for Supplications).

Jil Jadid (جيل الجديد) is an Islamic Resource Centre dedicated to the learning of practical Islam for children, located at Second Gate, Maikunkele, Niger State.

We are therefore, seeking DONATIONS of the following items to ease the conduct of our activities:

1️⃣ Copies of extra-large Arabic Qur'an;
2️⃣ Copies of Hisnul Muslim (book for
supplications);
3️⃣ A plastic table and chair.

Thanks a lot from Jil Jadid :

Our today's talk on the Life of Sayyidina Abubakar (RA) was a success. Mallam Usman Shehu Ayuba was eloquent, with children-friendly plain English.

Many thanks to the parents that entrusted their children to us, and to those who helped financially too. We had 26 children aged between 3 and 13 years in attendance.

As we have always said, Jil Jadid's main aim is not to replace the existing Islamiyyas the children attends, but to reinforce the knowledge they already have in aspects such as practical Sallah, performing ablution, saying azhkars, etc.

The reason for our choice of English as langage of presentation is not far-fetched: to empower and reinforce the spoken English of the children, which has become the main language of communication in today's world.

JOIN US TO RAISE CHILDREN IN THE WAYS OF THE QUR'AN AND SUNNAH.

WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JIL JADID AND NEWGEN SCHOOL?

JIL JADID (جيل جديد) Children Islamic Resource Centre is a section of NewGen School dedicated to the teaching of Basic Arabic and Islamic Studies especially to elementary school children.

Our activities are wrapped around fundamental Islamic subjects such as learning the basics of the Arabic alphabet in order to be able to read the Arabic Qur'an, supplications, Ahadiths and delivering of children-tailored lectures on Islam.

This gesture is flexible in that it is not restricted to pupils of NewGen School alone. It is open to those too who aren't our pupils.

We operate at the Community Mosque at Second Gate, Maikunkele, between Sunset and Night prayers. We hold weekly lectures every Sundays and all days of Ramadan.

Jil Jadid is NewGen's Islamic resource centre specializing in bringing up children (the adults of tomorrow) with sound Islamic knowledge, morals and ethics.

The centre conducts its daily activities at Community Mosque, Second Gate, Maikunkele.

And annually, it features a Ramadan Children Lecture Series and Quiz Competition.

The organizing committee meets at the eve of every Ramadan, selects a theme and a matching topic, deliver children-friendly lectures on the topic and have them participate in a quiz competion based on the content of the lecture delivered.

This forms part of their Eidul Adha celebration, and consolation prizes are won.

The centre focuses mainly in the teaching of the Qur'an, Hadith, Arabic, Supplications and practical acts of worship such as abulution (wud'u) and prayers (Sallah), among others.
