SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON OUTLINE 17th May,2026.

THE IMPORTANT OF NEW BIRTH! (This lesson is a continuation from current Bible study outline).

MEMORY VERSE:-
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

SPECIAL NOTE

The new birth in Christ, or being "born again," is a spiritual transformation through the Holy Spirit that renews a believer’s heart, grants salvation, and initiates a life of righteousness and eternal hope.
*Meaning of the New Birth
The new birth, also called being "born again," is a spiritual rebirth that occurs when a person accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (John 3:3-7). Unlike physical birth, this transformation is initiated by the Holy Spirit, who regenerates the believer’s heart, enabling them to live a new life in Christ (John 3:5-6). It involves repentance, faith, and a turning away from sin, marking the believer as a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). This change is not merely moral or emotional but a radical renewal of nature and standing before God, encompassing both justification and sanctification.

*Importance of the New Birth
Essential for Salvation: Jesus emphasized that no one can see or enter the Kingdom of God without being born again (John 3:3, 5). It is the prerequisite for fellowship with God and eternal life.

*Transformation of Life: The new birth replaces the old self, dominated by sin, with a new self characterized by righteousness, holiness, and alignment with God’s will (2 Corinthians 5:17). It empowers believers to live in accordance with Christ’s teachings.

*Work of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, and guides believers, making the new birth a divine act rather than a human achievement (John 3:8; 1 Peter 1:3). This underscores human dependence on God’s grace.

*Foundation for Christian Life: Being born again establishes a new identity in Christ, fostering a relationship with God, participation in the body of Christ, and a life marked by faith, purpose, and love (1 Peter 1:23).

*Eternal Perspective: The new birth points to both present transformation and future hope, including eternal life and participation in God’s renewed creation, free from sin and suffering (Revelation 21).

*The Role of the Holy Spirit in New Birth
As we look deeper into the new birth, we must acknowledge the crucial role of the Holy Spirit. It is through the Spirit that we experience this transformation. The Holy Spirit is our guide who helps us grow in faith. He regenerates our hearts, leading us toward an understanding of God’s love and grace. This new birth brings us into a family of believers, where the Spirit works within us to produce fruit—love, joy, peace, and more. When we allow the Holy Spirit to take the lead, we begin to live out the change that our new birth promises.

*The Importance of Faith in New Birth
Our experience of the new birth is intimately linked with our faith. When we place our trust in Jesus, we enter into a beautiful new reality. It takes faith to believe that we are forgiven and accepted, and that we are now a part of God’s family. This act of faith is transformative; it is the starting point for the new life we receive in Christ. Trusting Him leads to a relationship where we can grow, learn, and be nourished in our spiritual journey. Faith is not just a one-time act; it is a continuous journey of trusting and leaning on God’s promises.

*Summary
The new birth in Christ is a spiritual rebirth that transforms the believer’s heart, mind, and life, enabling them to enter God’s Kingdom, live righteously, and experience eternal life. It is a divine work of the Holy Spirit, foundational to salvation, sanctification, and the believer’s ongoing relationship with God, shaping both personal conduct and communal life within the body of Christ.

SUNDAY MESSAGE 10th May, 2026.

When a Christian utters the phrase all things work together for good, he or she is referring to a portion of one of the most quoted, claimed verses in the New Testament, Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Or, as the KJV translates it, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
* 1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

God works all things together for good—both His good and our good. As God is glorified, His people benefit.

In Romans 8, Paul contrasts a life lived in selfish pursuits (the flesh) and one lived in league with, or in accordance with, God (the Spirit). He impresses upon readers that our sovereign God is all-knowing, all-wise, and all-powerful.

Those who love God can trust His goodness, His power, and His will to work out all things for our good. We journey together with Him.

The promise that God works all things together for good does not mean that all things, taken by themselves, are good. Some things and events are decidedly bad. But God is able to work them together for good. He sees the big picture; He has a master plan.

Neither does the promise that God works all things together for good mean we will acquire all that we want or desire. Romans 8:28 is about God’s goodness and our confidence that His plan will work out as He sees fit. Since His plan is always good, Christians can take confidence that, no matter our circumstances or environments, God is active and will conclude things according to His good and wise design. With this knowledge we can learn to be content (see Philippians 4:11).

The fact that God works all things together for good means God’s plan will not be thwarted. In fact, we are part of His plan, having been “called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). When we trust God and His way, we can be sure that He is active and powerful on our behalf (see Ephesians 3:20).

God knows the future, and His desires will be accomplished. “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please’” (Isaiah 46:10). Even when things seem chaotic and out of control, God is still in charge. We sometimes worry about what’s happening to us because we do not know what is best for us. But God does.

The principle of God working all things together for good is well illustrated in the Old Testament account of Joseph’s life. Early in Joseph’s life, Joseph’s jealous brothers sold him into slavery. In Egypt, Joseph rises to a position of responsibility. Then, he is unjustly imprisoned and forgotten about by his friends. God gifts him the ability to interpret dreams, and through that ability Joseph is once again raised to a place of honor and power. When drought forces Joseph’s brothers to seek food elsewhere, they travel to Egypt and encounter Joseph, who eventually saves them from starvation and grants them a livelihood in his new land.

Throughout his life, Joseph trusted God no matter his good or bad circumstances. Joseph experienced plenty of bad things: kidnapping, slavery, false accusations, wrongful imprisonment, rejection, and famine. But in the end God brought things to a wonderful, life-affirming conclusion. God blessed Joseph’s entire family through those painful circumstances and through Joseph’s faith. (You can read about Joseph’s life beginning in Genesis 37.)

Paul’s life is another testament to how God works all things together for good. Paul suffered shipwrecks, beatings, imprisonment, murder attempts, temporary blindness, and more—all within God’s plan to spread the gospel (see Acts 9:16 and 2 Corinthians 11:24–27). Through it all, God was steadfastly working to bring about good and glorious results.

After promising that God works all things together for our good, Romans 8 concludes with the wonderful fact that God trumps everything that comes against Him and those who belong to Him. The Christian is assured that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? . . . No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:35–39). God’s love is everlasting, and His wisdom is infinite. It doesn’t matter who or what attempts to thwart God’s plan; no one and nothing can. God will work all things together for the good of those who love Him. Our decision to align our will with God’s and to always trust Him will be rewarded.

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON OUTLINE 10th May, 2026.

THE IMPORTANT OF SELF EXAMINATION

MEMORY VERSE:-
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

SPECIAL NOTE

Self-examination is a vital practice for personal growth, self-awareness, and spiritual health, helping individuals understand their thoughts, behaviors, and values to make intentional, meaningful changes.
*Understanding Self-Examination
Self-examination is the deliberate process of reflecting on your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and motivations. It allows you to observe patterns, identify strengths and weaknesses, and understand the underlying reasons for your actions. This practice is not about self-criticism but about gaining clarity and insight into your inner world, which can improve decision-making, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

*Personal Growth and Self-Awareness
Through self-examination, individuals develop self-awareness, a critical tool for navigating life with purpose. By understanding your unique experiences, values, and habits, you can make informed choices and avoid repeating unhelpful patterns. It also helps prevent external influences from dictating your life, allowing you to act according to your principles rather than reactive scripts from past conditioning.

*Emotional and Relational Benefits
Self-examination enhances emotional regulation by helping you notice feelings before they control your actions. This awareness improves relationships, as understanding your own motivations and reactions allows for more empathetic and thoughtful interactions with others. It also provides a safe space to process past experiences, heal old wounds, and release limiting beliefs.

*Spiritual Significance
In a spiritual context, self-examination is a tool for assessing alignment with one’s faith and values. It encourages reflection on personal conduct, repentance, and growth in holiness, as emphasized in biblical passages such as 2 Corinthians 13:5 and Psalm 139:23-24. Regular introspection helps believers identify areas of sin, seek forgiveness, and cultivate a deeper relationship with God.

*Practical Guidelines
Effective self-examination can be structured and intentional. For example, setting aside specific times—daily or weekly—to reflect on your actions, thoughts, and spiritual state can prevent it from becoming overwhelming or morbid. The goal is to gain insight, not to dwell on faults, and to use this understanding to guide personal and spiritual growth.

*Key Takeaways
Self-examination fosters clarity, self-awareness, and intentional living.
It supports emotional regulation and healthier relationships.
Spiritually, it encourages repentance, alignment with values, and growth in faith.
Practiced thoughtfully, it becomes a tool for continuous personal and spiritual development.

By regularly engaging in self-examination, individuals can navigate life more consciously, make better decisions, and cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and their purpose.

BIBLE STUDY OUTLINE 6th May, 2026.

TOPIC:- BEING BORN AGAIN

Being born again is a spiritual rebirth in which a person’s heart and life are transformed through faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.

QUESTION
What does it mean to be a born again Christian?

ANSWER

The classic passage from the Bible that answers this question is John 3:1–21. The Lord Jesus Christ is talking to Nicodemus, a prominent Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin (the ruling body of the Jews). Nicodemus had come to Jesus at night with some questions.

As Jesus talked with Nicodemus, He said, “‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’ ‘How can a man be born when he is old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, “You must be born again”’” (John 3:3–7).

The phrase translated “born again” can also be translated as “born from above.” Nicodemus had a real need. He needed a change of his heart—a spiritual transformation that could only come from above. New birth, being born again, is an act of God whereby eternal life is imparted to the person who believes (2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 2:29; 3:9; 4:7; 5:1–4, 18). John 1:12–13 indicates that being “born again” also carries the idea of becoming “children of God” through trust in the name of Jesus Christ.

The question logically comes, “Why does a person need to be born again?” The apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:1 says, “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins” (NKJV). To the Romans he wrote, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sinners are spiritually “dead”; when they receive spiritual life through faith in Christ, the Bible likens it to a rebirth. Only those who are born again have their sins forgiven and have a relationship with God.

Twice in His conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus stressed the truth that one must be born again to enter the kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5). Being born once makes us children of Adam, and we share Adam’s corruption. We need a second birth—a spiritual birth—to make us children of God. We must be born again.

*How does the new birth come to be?

Ephesians 2:8–9 states, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” When one is saved, he has been born again, spiritually renewed, and is now a child of God by right of that new birth. Faith in Jesus Christ, the One who paid the penalty of sin when He died on the cross, is the means by which one is born again. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

If you have never trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, will you consider the prompting of the Holy Spirit as He speaks to your heart? You need to be born again. Will you pray a prayer of repentance and faith and become a new creation in Christ today? “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God” (John 1:12–13).

*Steps to Being Born Again
1.Repentance: Turning away from sin and acknowledging the need for God’s forgiveness (Acts 3:19; Isaiah 1:18).

2.Faith in Jesus Christ: Believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior, trusting in His death and resurrection for salvation (John 3:16; Romans 10:9).

3.Surrender: Yielding control of one’s life to Christ and following His guidance (Proverbs 3:5-6).

4.Baptism: Often seen as a public symbol of the inward spiritual rebirth, representing the burial of the old life and rising to new life in Christ (Acts 2:38; John 3:5).

*Evidence of Being Born Again
A truly born-again person demonstrates spiritual fruit, including love for God and others, obedience to biblical teachings, conviction of sin, and growth in faith and holiness (John 13:34-35; Galatians 5:22-23). This transformation is ongoing, reflecting a lifelong journey of spiritual growth and alignment with God’s will.

"Importance of being born again.
Being born again is essential for salvation and fellowship with God. Jesus emphasized that without this spiritual rebirth, one cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:7). It is the foundation for a personal relationship with God, offering forgiveness of sins, a new identity, and the promise of eternal life (John 1:12-13; Ephesians 2:8-9).

In summary, being born again is a divine, transformative experience that renews the believer’s heart, mind, and spirit, initiating a lifelong journey of faith, obedience, and spiritual growth in Christ.

Aligning your will with God involves a journey of spiritual surrender, faith, and active obedience, focusing on understanding and following His desires for your life.
*The Journey of Alignment
Aligning your will with God is not a one-time event but a continuous journey. It involves growth, learning, and adapting as you deepen your relationship with Him. As you embark on this journey, remember that the blessings of yielding to God's will are abundant and transformative, leading to a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

*Steps to Align Your Will with God
1.Seek Spiritual Surrender: Begin by recognizing the importance of surrendering your personal ambitions and desires to God. This involves letting go of your ego and actively seeking God's desires for your life, as emphasized in Matthew 6:33, which encourages seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

* The danger of eating high glycemic index foods and fruits.
Eating high glycemic index (GI) foods and fruits can lead to several health risks, particularly for individuals with diabetes or those trying to manage blood sugar levels. Here are some key dangers:
1.Rapid Blood Sugar Spikes: Foods with a high GI are digested quickly, causing a sudden increase in blood sugar levels, which can lead to energy crashes and increased hunger.

2.Insulin Resistance: Frequent consumption of high GI foods can contribute to insulin resistance, a precursor to type 2 diabetes.

3.Weight Gain: The urge to eat more frequently due to blood sugar fluctuations can lead to overeating and weight gain.

4.Increased Hunger: High GI foods can cause a rapid increase in hunger shortly after consumption, making it difficult to maintain stable blood sugar levels.

5.Dietary Choices: It's essential to choose low GI foods, such as whole grains, legumes, and vegetables, to help manage blood sugar levels effectively.

*Understanding the impact of high GI foods is crucial for maintaining overall health and managing blood sugar levels effectively.

*Fruits that have a high glycemic index can spike your blood sugar, particularly if they're eaten on an empty stomach or in large amounts.

*How does glycemic index affect health?
The glycemic index of your meals can affect your health. Consistently high blood sugar levels can cause type 2 diabetes.
* Food with a high glycemic index also has been linked to cardiovascular disease and obesity. What are high and low glycemic foods?

CONCLUSION

Having an overall healthy diets can help greatly to better ones life and help to fight any life threatening illnesses and diseases. Don't forget variety of foods, portioning and moderation. HEATHY LIVING ( GLYCEMIC INDEX GI ON HEATHY FOOD AND FRUITS)

MEMORY VERSE:-
Genesis:9:3 [GNT]
[3] Now you can eat them, as well as green plants; I give them all to you for food.

INTRODUCTION

*Quality of Food Bible Verse
The Bible emphasizes the quality of food as a gift from God, highlighting its significance in both physical and spiritual aspects. Verses such as Genesis 1:29 and Psalm 104:15 illustrate God's provision of food, stating that every seed-bearing plant and tree with fruit are for food, and that wine and oil bless the heart. These verses underscore the importance of food as a means of nourishment and enjoyment, reflecting God's care and blessings.

SPECIAL NOTE

Glycemic Index of Food and Fruit
The glycemic index (GI) is a ranking system that categorizes foods based on their impact on blood glucose levels. Foods with a GI of 55 or less are considered low GI, those with a GI of 56 to 69 are medium GI, and those with a GI of 70 or higher are high GI. Understanding the GI of foods can help in making informed dietary choices, especially for individuals managing diabetes or pre-diabetes symptoms. Here's a brief overview of the GI of some common fruits:
Low GI Fruits: These include most fruits and vegetables, beans, minimally processed grains, pasta, low-fat dairy foods, and nuts. Examples of low GI fruits are apples, bananas, and berries.

Medium GI Fruits: These fruits do not produce as sharp a rise in blood sugar levels as high GI foods but still have an influence on blood sugar and insulin levels. Examples include oranges, grapes, and cherries.

High GI Fruits: These fruits can cause a sharp increase in blood sugar levels, potentially leading to a crash once insulin does its job of moving sugar from the blood. Examples include watermelon, pineapple, and mango.

It's important to note that the GI value of a food can vary significantly based on processing or cooking methods, ripeness, and fiber content. Therefore, it's essential to check the GI value for the specific food you intend to consume.

*Importance of Glycemic Index in Diet
Understanding the glycemic index of foods is crucial for individuals managing diabetes or those looking to maintain stable energy levels. Choosing lower GI foods can help in controlling blood sugar levels and reducing the risk of insulin spikes. It is advisable to combine low and medium GI foods in meals to balance the overall glycemic impact.
What affects the glycemic index of foods and fruits is determined by the nutritional information, such as:
*The number of carbohydrates.
*The type of carbohydrates (whether simple or complex).
*The amount of fiber.
*The amount of fat.
*The amount of protein.
Additionally, the food's ripeness, processing, form (liquid or solid, long or short grain), cooking method, and more affect its glycemic value.

SIMPLE CARBS VS COMPLEX CARBS - KNOW YOUR CARBS.

Simple carbohydrates -
Chemically speaking, are sugar molecules that stand alone, or are pair with one other sugar molecule. They are already in their simplest form, so they enter the blood stream quickly when eaten. If a food has a significant amount of simple carbs, it is likely high glycemic.
* Simple carbs are found in fruits, table sugar, refined grains (white flour), and many common foods that fill the grocery store aisles.

Complex carbohydrates,
On the other hand, are long chains of sugar molecules that need to be broken down into simple carbs. This takes time, so complex carbs enter the blood stream at a slower rate.
* Complex carbs include beans, whole wheat, brown rice, vegetables, and more.
