Yes - if it is an acceptable scholarly opinion.

Islam does not want unnecessary hardship. The Prophet ﷺ chose the easier option when it was not sinful. But Islam also does not support using scholarly differences as loopholes for desire.

So before choosing the easier opinion, ask:

Am I seeking guidance, or am I searching for permission?

Ease is part of Islam, but be careful of desire that disguises itself as ease.
