THE MYSTERY OF THE ANOINTING

Every Christian receives the abiding anointing at the moment of salvation,but not every Christian receives the empowering anointing. God reserves the empowering anointing for those He uses in ministry. It is received only
after we have grown in intimacy with the Lord and He trusts us.
The abiding anointing, within you, builds you spiritually; how strongly it operates depends on your own hunger. But the empowering anointing,which is upon you, relies mainly on the hunger of the people to whom you minister. As a result of their hunger for the power of God, He begins to fill you with everything that they need. They may need miracles. Some may
need deliverance. Many will need healing. Now the burden of ministry becomes very heavy because of the needs of the people, and if you tried to carry it under your own power, you would fall and it would crush you.
Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
—ZECHARIAH 4:6

If you are spending time daily in deep communion with the Lord, you will be strong enough to bear this burden. If you fail to spend time in His presence, this burden will be too great for you to bear and you will not want
to even make an attempt to carry it anymore.
If you are to be used by God in any ministry capacity, the empowering anointing is essential. This vital equipping enables you to work for the Lord and fulfill your purpose in the ministry to which God has called you.
Believe me when I say, you do not want to be in ministry without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Perfect sermons without the anointing fall powerless to the floor. The world’s most talented singers without the anointing have never one life. It’s the anointing that makes the difference.
Cry more for the anointing (holyspirit) daily for the effectiveness of the ministry and for personal growth and maturity in faith.

Stand Up To Your Calling

Dearly Beloved,

Raise your life to the level of your calling. Don’t continue living at the level of your convenience. Jack up your life to the level of God’s mandate over your life. Whether you like it or not, there is a divine call and mandate of Heaven over your life. Give attention to it because you will give account for that when you come face-to-face with the Lord. Raise your life to the level of that divine mandate.

Many believers are living lower than the call of God upon their lives. They know they are called, they have a sense of the call, but have, however, chosen to stay at convenience level, where their lives are not being driven and harnessed in accordance with the capacity that God has placed within them.

The devil only recognises you in the call, and you are only untouchable to the enemy when you are living at the level of God’s call over your life. It is your active operation in the calling that silences and terrifies the enemy. That is why he tries to bring troubles into people’s lives and make them unfit for the call. However, you are privileged by God to be trained for your destiny and calling in this house. Therefore, embrace it and jack up your life to the level of God’s call.

There are two names a man bears:

1. The name men call you by virtue of your birth circumstances, problems, or background.
2. The name of your destiny that God has called you. That is the name you must discover and fulfil. You must make up your mind to discover that name on time and run with it.
