KNOWING JESUS FOR MYSELF | THE WORK OF CHRIST 2: HIS DEATH — ATONEMENT FOR SIN

The cross was not an accident; it was God’s greatest rescue mission. Jesus, the sinless Lamb of God, willingly took our place, bore our sins, and paid the debt we could never pay. Through His death, the way was opened for sinful humanity to be reconciled to a holy God. He took our condemnation so that we could receive His righteousness.

Christ’s death accomplished forgiveness, redemption, reconciliation, justification, peace with God, and access to the Father. We are no longer strangers or slaves to sin—we have been brought near by the blood of Christ. The message of the cross is simple and powerful: our debt was paid, our freedom was purchased, and our relationship with God was restored.

Our response is to believe, repent, live in gratitude, and walk in holiness. When guilt reminds us of our past, we look to the cross; when we feel unworthy, we remember His grace; and when we feel far from God, we remember that Christ has brought us near. He took my place. He bore my sin. He paid my debt. He purchased my freedom. Thank You, Jesus, for the cross!

Our members went from place to place, sharing flyers, tracts and “Join Me” cards, spreading the good news of Jesus and inviting people to experience the transforming power of God.

Every flyer shared is a seed. 🌱
Every tract distributed is a message. 📖
Every invitation is an opportunity for a soul to encounter Christ! 🔥

We are not just having church—we are taking the Church to the people!

A GLIMPSE INTO TODAY'S SERVICE: What a powerful and impactful time we had in God's presence today!
Continuing with, “the expressions of Jesus' obedience as revealed in the Bible” we were reminded that Jesus didn't merely teach obedience—He demonstrated it perfectly.
We reflected on how Jesus submitted to His words, timing, emotions, desires and ultimately His life to the Father's will.
From His disciplined speech to His ultimate obedience at the cross, one truth stood out:
“Not My will, but Yours, be done.” — Luke 22:42
🔥 True knowledge of Jesus produces a life of obedience.

Today's service challenged us to move beyond simply knowing about Jesus to living like Jesus—obeying God's Word, following the Holy Spirit, controlling our words, and choosing God's will even when it is difficult.
🙏 It was a service of revelation, reflection, worship and renewed commitment to Christ.
