12/08/2020

ASSALAM ALAYKUM WARAHMATULLAH WA BARAKATUH

As the Islamic Education Trust and the Da’wah Institute joins the world today to celebrate the , we recognize that the growth and development of the society rests significantly on the future of the younger generation. Hence, we owe it to posterity to ensure that we continue to empower the youth to guarantee the advancement of progress and peaceful coexistence in the country.
As an organization, one of our primary prerogatives is to work towards building individual and communal fellowship to foster harmony, thus ensuring unity in the affairs of our immediate environment and by extension the whole of humanity. And for that to work, the voices of this generation and the ones to come after have to be strengthened.
Religious Extremisms in all its ramifications is fast becoming a ravenous issue in our society today, from violence against women and girls, to ethnoreligious clashes, we all know, it is rather pertinent that we empower the youth bulge to be at the forefront of curbing this vicious cycle, and helping in breaking the continuous acts of inhumane treatments of other members of society.
Islam upholds values and ideals that teaches the embodiment of, compassion, mercy, discipline, and peaceful coexistence, and these values need to be successfully ingrained in our youth to ensure a better future.
So today and always, we encourage you to join the conversation, we encourage you to Create Alternatives for Religious Extremisms, because we CARE and We want you to CARE too.
