The church is called a spiritual house.
1st Peter 2:5
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
The Church is the temple of God.
These expressions are to speak about the oneness of identity.
Jesus rose as the Church, the body. The body of Christ is a person.
