DANGERS OF LISTENING TO NAYSAYERS
..Take it from someone who knows about this topic experientially and vicariously

First things first, your umbilical cord was not tied to another person's the day you were born or you think it was?

Ask Mama to confirm.

Most people in the grave died with their talents and potentials not because they didn't dream of actualizing them but because they listened to someone, somewhere at some point in their life who told them they can't do it...

That they can't make it.

That they are just useless.

That they are too ugly so no body will like them.

That they are too poor to ever become rich

That they are a disappointment.

That they will amount to nothing.

That they are good for nothing.

That they are dull.

That they are not innovative.

That they are not stylish enough...

They say these things because they themselves are hurting. So dear Sweetheart reading this, all those people talking you down and saying all manner of things to hurt you do them because they are hurting!

Most people say those things out of hate.

Most people say those things out of jealousy.

Some due to Envy... I know you are wondering what there is to envy about you. God has given you so much the world is yet to see and many a times, people see your potentials and talents before you even discover them yourself.

We live in a world were people will do anything for the whole world to resolve around them alone, so don't let them put you in their pocket.

The day you start dieing is the day you believed what Tamara said, that you are good for nothing and swallowed it, digested it and hide yourself under your thick purple blanket, shivering like a leaf blown by the harmattan wind.

Most times, this people don't even know us, they don't even really care. That's the truth.

The danger in listening to naysayers is that you will give up, kill and bury your dreams and then join the train of naysayers to talk others down...when that becomes the case dearly beloved, you have already become a daytime witch o.

But that's not you...

Therefore, arise and shine for God's glory is risen upon you.

God is a God of specifics, God works with dimensions. He just doesn't do a thing. He maps out measurements for every thing. Time is one of His powerful scale for measurement even though it's abstract. He uses it to measure the times and seasons and ultimately man's life. He mapped out Adams physical body measurement if not the world wouldn't know the normal size of a man. That is why we know when a person is a dwarf or a giant because these cases are outside the normal measurement of man.
God mapped out twenty four hours and called it a day. He mapped out 365 days and called it a year.
HE used time to map out the seasons and said there is time for everything and every season. We all know that any time any of these seasons exceed their expected time frame, it disturbs the stability of the ecosystem.

Now this is exactly how God has used specific time frame to map out every stage and seasons of our lives. Every season has a time. The question is how many of us work with God's time frame? It's either we are running faster than His time frame or we are slower. Seldom do we calm down and allow Him to take us through this journey of life stage by stage and according to His time frame for every stage

Most times, we don't trust God in some areas of our lives. How do I know? Any area of your life that you worry about or lack peace about is an area you have not yet handed over to Him (Isaiah 26:3). Check your self.
You can't help but have peace and calmness concerning your Spiritual life, marriage, relationship, finances, family, friends, career, purpose, e.t.c
Name it, just name anything if you have surrendered all to His care.

I pray God help us to trust Him this year.
