Today’s service was truly refreshing and impactful.

From the worship to the Word, every moment carried clarity, power, and a deep sense of God’s presence.
Hearts were stirred, faith was strengthened, and light was shed on truth.

Grateful for the fellowship, the growth, and the reminders received today.

Indeed, we were blessed.

Do Not Neglect the Gathering of Believers.

“So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.” — Luke 4:16

“Then those who gladly received his word were baptized… And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” — Acts 2:41–42

Gathering together as believers has always been a vital part of the Christian life. It was the custom of Jesus to be in the synagogue, hearing and declaring the Word. The early Church also continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers.

As believers, we should not neglect the blessing that comes from assembling. There is strength, encouragement, and edification when we gather to pray, receive God’s Word, and fellowship with one another.

Come expectant. Come ready to receive and to be strengthened.

Honoring the Gifts of God

“He also gave apostles, prophets, missionaries, as well as pastors and teachers as gifts to His church. Their purpose is to prepare God’s people to serve and to build up the body of Christ.”
— Ephesians 4:11–13 (GW)

God, in His wisdom, gave gifts to the Church—men called and set apart to nurture, teach, guide, and build His people. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are not just positions; they are expressions of God’s love and commitment to the growth of His body.

These men labor, pray, teach, correct, encourage, and sometimes sacrifice more than we see. Their assignment is to equip the saints, strengthen faith, and lead God’s people toward maturity in Christ.

Today, I choose to honor the men God has raised and placed over His Church. Those who have given their lives to the service of God and the building of His people.

May we never take lightly the gifts God has given to His Church. May we honor them, support them, and continue to grow into the fullness of Christ—the true standard.
