MSSN-KWASU MOURNS SHEIKH ABDULQODIR MUHAMMAD KAMALUDDEEN (KHALEEFATU L ADABIYYAH)

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

With deep sorrow and submission to the will of Allah, The Muslim Student Society of Nigeria (MSSN) KWASU BRANCH mourn the passing away of Khaleefatul Adabiyyah, a distinguished scholar and elder whose life was marked by piety, humility, wisdom, and unwavering service to Islam.

His beneficial knowledge, noble character, and dedication to nurturing generations of Muslims remain a lasting legacy and a source of inspiration for many.

We pray that Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, grants him a spacious grave, and admits him into Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah also grant his family, students, and the entire Muslim Ummah the strength to bear this great loss.

"Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return." (Qur'an 2:156)

Last Saturday, 16 of May 2026, the MSSN KWASU branch organised the sister's conference, which was hold to uphold faith and unity amongst the Muslim female withjn the campus.

The theme of the conference was FAITH PURPOSE AND IDENTIFY, where different lecturers within and outside the school was invited.

It was such a good time for the female students on campus as they were able to elevate their Iman and network with one another.

MSSN KWASU SHINES AT INTER-VARSITY QUR’AN MUSABAQAH - Fountain University .

Al hamduliLlah.
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Kwara State University Branch is pleased to announce its outstanding performance at the recently concluded Inter-Varsity Qur’an Musabaqah hosted by Fountain University.

By the grace of Allah, our representatives emerged with remarkable results:
🏆 Sarumi Abdullahi Delodun (Computer Science) 1st Position in the 1st Category (3 Juz'u)
🥇Abdullateef Abdul Muhsin Alaaya (Physiology ) 4th Position – 2nd Category (5 Juz'u).

This achievement reflects the dedication, discipline, and excellence of our participants, as well as the continuous commitment of MSSN KWASU to the promotion of the Qur’an.

We sincerely appreciate all stakeholders for their prayers and support.
May Allah continue to elevate us through the Qur’an and grant us greater successes ahead.

Today's talim session was a wrap.

THE TOPIC OF THE TALIM IS " Islam and child spacing" or Family planning in Islam.

The Speaker in person of Brother AbdulRoqeeb Alabidun from the department of Biochemistry, emphasize on the view of Islam on family planning.

He stated that the only type of family planning accepted in Islam is child spacing and other than that, the rest are Haram (prohibited). He stated that child spacing in Islam has reasons that must be considered and mer before it is put in place.
1. Health of the mother; He stated that if the mother, did not have the capacity to be giving birth in a consecutive years, Islam allows her to put year in it that I am spacing my birth giving by example every 3 years, without the aim of limitating the number of child she wants to give birth to.
2. Child upbringing; if to upbring a child , spacing can be done in other to upbring them properly without limiting the number of child they will be giving birth to.
3. Child Health.

2. Not limiting the number of child we want to give birth to.
