MEMORISE:

BIBLE READING: 1 CORINTHIANS 6:18-20
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

MESSAGE:
Setting boundaries when relating with the opposite s*x is not old-fashioned. It is an important thing to do, especially when there is an intense attraction or infatuation for a member of the opposite s*x. That intense attraction or infatuation can be a temptation from the devil to distract a fellow from achieving his or her goals and pull such a fellow away from God's plan for his or her life.

Samson was a young man who was infatuated with Delilah. He could not Control his lust, and it led to a disruption of God's agenda for his life and God's people (Judges 16:4-21). His relationship with Delilah crushed his future.

My dear child, do not think you are a Superhero when it comes to relating with the opposite s*x. In 1 Corinthians 10:12, the Bible says, *"Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall."* You should set boundaries in your conversations with members of the opposite s*x. You have no business going into a romantic relationship if you are not ready for marriage. Do not allow unholy communication or relationships to disrupt God's plans for your life with members of the opposite s*x.

*TOPIC: JUBILEE*

*MEMORISE:*
That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. - (Deuteronomy 30:3)

*BIBLE READING: LEVITICUS 25:25-28 (KJV)*

25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

26 And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

*MESSAGE:*
Jubilee means emancipation, deliverance, or restoration. In Leviticus 25:8-10, God commanded the children of Israel to observe Jubilee every 50 years. When the Year of Jubilee arrives, anyone who is bound as a slave is to be set free. Even if a fellow became bound through his or her fault or error, he or she will be set free. Furthermore, anyone who was in debt would be forgiven of the debt in the Year of Jubilee.

We are talking about Jubilee today because God wants to set His people free from satanic bo***ges. He wants His people to walk in liberty in every aspect of their lives. Liberty is freedom from every form of bo***ge. Anyone who holds someone bound when God has declared jubilee will be fighting against God, and I am yet to see someone who fights against God and wins.

Unlike in Israel, where Jubilee was observed every 50 years in Old Testament times, if you have Jesus, you can experience Jubilee every day. Jesus came to save, deliver and restore us to God, and anyone who comes to Him will experience

*READ: 1 TIMOTHY 5:1-4 KJV*
[1] Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
[2] The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
[3] Honour widows that are widows indeed.
[4] But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

*MESSAGE:*
There are many old people in society today who are lonely because they have been forgotten. Sadly, some of these old people have children and relatives who have become too 'busy' to take care of them.

Beloved, there is a great blessing in taking the time to help an elderly person. I remember one time when I was walking through an airport with two bags in my hand. A young man saw me and simply greeted me, and I acknowledged his greeting. However, another young man, who was coming behind him, rushed to help me with the bags I was carrying, and I told him, "God bless you." The first young man came back to me and asked, "Daddy, why didn't you tell me 'God bless you' when I greeted you?" I replied him, "You saw me carrying two bags but didn't help me. This young man helped me, and I asked God to bless him."

My dear child, the elders have lived through various seasons of life, and they have a lot of experiences and wisdom to share. You will learn so much from them if you take time to care for them, help them, and listen to them. A simple conversation, a warm smile, or a thoughtful gesture from you can brighten their day and remind them that they are valued. Always ensure to value and appreciate the elders around you.

*MESSAGE:*
Self-control is one of the fruit of the Spirit. Self-control, especially in the area of food, is something that is lacking in the lives of many children of God in the world today. Some people eat without caution, and this can lead to obesity, sickness, or even premature death. For a child of God to live a healthy life or grow in the Spirit, such a fellow must have self-control and be careful of what and where he or she eats.

I recall a time when I visited my hometown some years ago. Before I got there, the Holy Spirit had told me not to eat anything. However, when I got there, I couldn't resist the bowls of pounded pounded yam, soup, and assorted meat which I was served. A few minutes after I finished eating, I received a message to go and pray for one of my elder sisters who was dying. After receiving the message, I felt confused and heavy. Suddenly, I remembered what God had told me earlier, and I knew that how I felt was the reason He did not want me to eat in the first place. So, I went behind the house, dipped my finger in my throat, and vomited everything I had eaten. After then, I became light and comfortable enough to engage in prayers of warfare over my sister. After the prayers, the Lord restored her health.

MESSAGE:
Skillfulness is important in every area of life, and God has given every one of us unique talents and skills. These talents and skills are meant to glorify Him and serve others; therefore, it is important for us to discover the talents and skills that God has given us and develop them. Whatever skill you have, whether in music, writing, technology, leadership, teaching, designing, public speaking, or craftsmanship, God wants you to be excellent at it.

In Daniel 1:20, Daniel and his friends stood out with their wisdom and knowledge such that the king "found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm." Similarly, in today's Bible reading, Bezaleel was filled with the Spirit of God and was also gifted with artistic abilities to build the temple.
