DAY 6 of 7 Nights of Power

Theme: The Holy Spirit
Text: Act 1:8

Message:
The Holy Spirit is one of the Trinity. 'Tri' means three.
Trinity significe - The God that is one but expresses himself in three.'

This has a little similarities with the traditional gods put up as god. Most of the gods they worship were molded as trio. They usually have the feature of having the image of a father or husband's stature, wife and another statue as child.

But this is not thesame with the Trinity, this representation is the kind that is one, that is the three are not different and all God.

Some believe that the Holy Spirit is not God. Some believe he is a power, a force that God uses.

The Holy Spirit is God, God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit works together as one.

This was demonstrated in the baptism of Jesus Christ in Matthew 3:16 and 17 "And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Trinity was fully represented.

Jesus speaking also says, baptism should be in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

This is because Trinity must be represented for the work to be complete.

The Holy Spirit is God can also be described in the fact He share same attributes with God:
1. God is Omnipotent: the Holy Spirit also share this attribute.
2. God is Omniscient: The Holy Spirit also share in this attribute.
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit is all knowing.

3. God is eternal: The Holy Spirit is eternal too. We have experience the three dispensations of God. God the father, God the son and now we are experiencing the dispensation of God the Spirit but all are still thesame and are doing same work in the life of a child of God.

Let me give you a little illustration: Do you know that as a father, your son carries everything that have been constituted in you?
Yes, he does. He carries every features in you in such that when you die, you will still be in existence as long as your son remain, and so on from generation to generation as long as your seed remain you are fully represented.

4. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is blasphemy against God:
Jesus speaking says; this was when the Holy Spirit was not already given, He testifying about him said "

5. God is a person and so is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not an it as people refer Him. He is a person.

The Purpose of the Holy Spirit:
Just like it was recorded about the purpose of Jesus that He came to save sinners (Matthew 1:21 and John 3:16)
The Holy Spirit comes to testify about Jesus.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.

It's the work of the Holy Spirit to testify about Jesus in this place.

If you want to be empowered to testify about Jesus you need the Holy Spirit.

There are different ways the Holy Spirit empowers a man:
1 He can empower you with several gifts to be able to testify about Jesus.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

2. The Holy Spirit helps you to recognize sin. The work of sanctification is done by the Holy Spirit.
If you received salvation and the Holy Spirit is not manifested in you, you are yet to be sanctified. Because it is the Holy Spirit that gives you the power to maintain Holiness.

3. He gives you the boldness to preach.
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

It is difficult to preach without the Holy Spirit. Evangelism is possible only by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Some think going out for evangelism reduces their status. But this is because they have not been empowered by the Holy Spirit.
4. He produces the fruit of the Holy Spirit in you:
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

If you don't have the fruit of the Holy Spirit even Marriage will be difficult for you.

You cannot even relate with people.

For you to live well generally there must be love, peace, patience...it is the Holy Spirit that can sustain a child of God in this world.

5. The Holy Spirit guides you in decision making:
Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

He does this so that you can see clearly and not be confused on any thing.
When He guides he gives peace in your heart, when there is peace then there can be boldness. You first have inner peace, then you have boldness and then you are guided well.

6. He comforts you: Even in times of struggles He will make you stable.

7. He transforms you: He transforms you from sorrow to joy, weakness to strength, from mourning to rejoicing. If you are still struggling in sin it is because you have not allowed the Holy Spirit to take over your life.

Who can receive the Holy Spirit?
1. A repented believer.
2. A true believer of the word of God. ゚viralシfypシ゚viralシalシ

Message: Holy Spirit Incubate me.
When the Holy Spirit comes upon a man it incubates the individual.

Luke 1:34-35 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

To overshadow also means to incubate.

Pray and say Holy Spirit incubate me!

The Holy Spirit being the 3rd person of the Trinity is the Power House of God.

Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

He is the power of the Highest, the power house of God. See Act 1:8, John 14:26, 1 Corinthians 2:4.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

We are in the Dispensation of the Holy Spirit and He will remain til the end of the world. He is the end time power available for believers.

Unfortunately many Christians are in the church without an encounter with the Holy Spirit.

To incubate means to overshadow: it is likened to the way birds keep their eggs warm til they hatch.

What happens when the Holy Spirit Incubate a man, a woman or a church?

1. He or she will turn into another man: you will notice instant positive changes.
It happened in 1 Samuel 10:10-11 And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. And it came to pass, when all that knew him before time saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?

As soon as the Holy Spirit came upon Saul he turned into another man.

2 To he or she the impossible becomes possible.
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

If you are here and you are still doubting the power of God, I will share my experience so you can see what God has done through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Some years ago we were praying on a Thursday Faith Clinic service in the church were I was pastoring in an interior area of Makurdi. Christ Palace Parish and suddenly I opened my eyes and there were bats all over the ceiling. We were told that the place where we were then occupying as church was the center of witches and wizards, that is were they converge to hold meetings and I was angry in my spirit and began 21 days Prayers.

Before the venue was sold to The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Christ Palace, it was formaly a bear parlour.

So that day we knew it was a spiritual battle. I told a brother to shout HolyGhostand immediately the bats disappear.
After that experience, we began to witness people trouping to become members of the church and many testimonies broke forth.

I tell my own story, how I witnessed the power of God making the impossible situation possible in my life. As soon as I became Born Again, that time I was vibrant and zealous in the things of God I was poisoned. The poison damaged my kidneys and my liver. My stomach protruded like a nine months pregnancy and my bottom was completely flat. I was like a skeleton and a tommy.
I took all the medication possible but nothing happened.
There was news that someday they will bring my co**se home.
But I kept saying to my self, I kept declaring; I shall not die but live to declare the glory of God.

When you allow the Holy Spirit incubate you, the impossible becomes possible.

One day I heard of a crusade and went the man of God through the power of the Holy Spirit said I should go home I am healed, when I reached home I demanded for 'Akpu' it's been long since I eat anything solid, I don't eat or drink much because there was no space to put food.
But that day I eat and that experience was over to the glory of God.

I pray for you whatsoever has become impossible in your life it shall become possible tonight in Jesus mighty name Amen.

As a student, the Holy Spirit can reveal to you what question is been set in the exam. So that you will study and equip your self before the exams. He helped me as well and he can help you too.

What shall I do to be incubated by the Holy Spirit?
1. Surrender completely to Jesus
2. Make up your mind to obey God and be holy.
3. You must tarry on the alter of prayers to be incubated. ゚viralシfypシ゚viralシalシ

Message:
There are things of the spirit you cannot decipher with your head. They are mysteries that can only be understood by the spirit.

The Holy Spirit gives you the key to spiritual things.

When the Holy Spirit comes, if there are habits you have been struggling with in your life it becomes a thing of the past.

For you to accomplish anything, you will need power. Physical power is not enough.

The Holy Spirit empowers a man to prevail in prayers.

Pentecost experience is characterized by the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The evidence is speaking in tongues.

When the Holy Spirit comes upon a timid person, that person becomes bold.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

There are so many destinies that were never attained just because of fear or timidity. But when the Holy Spirit comes you become unstoppable.

Example of men who became unstoppable were Blind Bartimeos, Jabez, they prevailed in prayer until they where heard.

When the Holy Spirit comes, He baptises you with fire. When you pray the environment shakes.

If you want to make exploit, you will need to break all forms of limitations.

Acts 10:44-46 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.

The Holy Spirit comes to those who hear the word and believe, the baptism of the holy spirit comes to whosever believe.

I was prayed for to receive the Holy Spirit alongside others some years ago, some of them believed, and received instantly. I believed, but didn't receive that moment until the next morning, I woke up speaking in tongues.

The Holy Spirit comes with evidence on any one who believes.

Understanding the Mystery of the tongue is not for ordinary men.

1 Corinthians 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

When you speak in tongues you are not speaking to any man but God. You are speaking to a Spirit.

Men cannot understand what you speak, infact at best they can only mock you.

But you are making a lot of meaning in the spirit.

1 Corinthians 14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

You make a lot of meaning in the spirit when you speak in tongues, except if you are not genuinely speaking in tongues. Demons may be decoding the meaning you make. But a genuine child of God speaking, speak power in the spirit.

When you speak in the spirit, God can give you the interpretation. Spiritual men can discern what you speak. So also other languages can be understood by men of like groups.

As occult men have their language and communicate one to another. So is the spiritual.

How can you receive the Holy Spirit?

Acts 8:14-17 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

You can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the laying of hands by Men filled with the Holy Spirit.

As long as you believe you will receive.

Message:
The personality of the Holy Spirit is what male the difference. That is what transforms a man's life.

Those without the person of the Holy Spirit dwelling in them to them, the things of the spirit is foolishness and a waste of time.

The Christian journey is not a light and simply one. That's why You need the Holy Spirit.

An Infinix operating system is not the same with Techno. But when the operating system of an Infinix phone is transfered or inserted in a Tecno phone it begins to operate as an Infinix. That's how the operation of the Holy Spirit is in a man.

Everything begins and end with the Spirit.

Others normal Christians can still cheat, lie, fornicate and commit sin because their operating system is still the old man.

You will be an ordinary man doing ordinary things until the operating system of the Spirit comes upon you.

Who is the Holy Spirit?
1. He is an energiser. A man that is weak and has no energy in him is a man without the Holy Spirit.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

2. He is a guide. A man that has the Holy Spirit cannot die like a chicken.

Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

3. The Holy Spirit is a helper. You are not helpless because you don't have some body in Government House, but because you don't have the Holy Spirit.

'The Holy Spirit shall Overshadow you ' it means He shall help you.

Message:
The first thing the Holy spirit does in ones life is he comes to give you power for exploits.

Just like the engine of a car needs fuel to be in motion, you need the Holy Spirit to empower and generates you to start burning for God.

You cannot do exploit without the Holy Spirit.

Being Born Again is a step (salvation), but that experience alone is not enough, you will need to experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit to be on fire for God.

The disciples of Jesus had being with Jesus all the time, but that was not enough to fuel their ability to effectively witness for Christ.

The Holy Spirit opens your eyes to spiritual things, and you become a witness of the spiritual realm.

When you have God's spirit in you, it judges you when you're wrong and transforms you into a wonder. It makes you stand out and makes the difference in whatsoever you do.

When you have the Holy Spirit in you, when you mention the name of Jesus it carries weight. I.e Who carries the name matters.

If you don't have the Holy Spirit the devil will mo**st you. Some get pressed in there dreams.

When Jesus was leaving, the disciples where troubled and afraid.but Jesus knowing they need help sent them the Holy Spirit.

The power of God cannot be limited in anybody's life. For example; 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

What you must do to receive the power.:
1. Sacrifice
2 follow Jesus
4 have Fellowship with God

In maintaining the power of the Holy Spirit , you must not defiled the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to perform miracles, Heal the sick.

Anyone who is a carrier of the Holy Spirit is a carrier of Power.
People will dominate the life of a man without fire and control him any how but when you carry fire you have dominion.

Carriers of the Holy Spirit are not ordinary people because they carry something exiordinary in them.

When you have the Holy Spirit, you will operate in the higher realm.

It is an error for the man carrying the Holy Spirit to be poisoned except you don't carry the fire of the holy spirit.

Receiving the Holy Spirit is not compulsory or necessary but only for those who want to carry fire.

The Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of the trinity.
He is God's Presence in us, guiding us, teaching us and empowering us. John 14:16-17, Romans 8:9-13th.

How to connect with the Holy Spirit;

3 Ask & receive
4. Witness for Christ
5 Pray in the Spirit

What a Glorious Thanksgiving Service Today! 🙌🔥

Today’s Thanksgiving titled “Culture of Stars” was truly an encounter with God’s presence. From the worship to the Word, the atmosphere was filled with glory and the move of the Holy Spirit was undeniable.

God reminded us again through Genesis 15:5 that we are called to shine, to stand out, and to reflect His glory wherever we go. We don’t just carry light — we ARE light in this generation.

Every ministration was powerful and spirit-filled. Hearts were touched, joy was restored, and faith was strengthened. God truly showed Himself mighty in our midst!

A special appreciation to all the ministers who yielded themselves as vessels today, and to our beloved Pastor Abba Terungwa, thank you for leading with grace, love, and vision.

Today was more than a service — it was a divine experience.
And as we go forth, our star will not go dim. ⭐

Glory to Jesus forever! 🙏✨
