THE SOLEMNITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, KING OF THE UNIVERSE.

On her last Sunday of the liturgical year, the church today, celebrates the solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the universe. Targeted at, in an interesting and effective way, reflect Christ's royalty over humans, the church, the society, the government and ofcourse, nations at large.

His(Jesus Christ) sacrificial death on the cross, shared his ruling with faithful discipleship, not to act in earthly forces but rather, rebuild and lift them up as servants of God.

Here, we are made to understand that, His kingship does not guarantee success according to the world's measures or criteria but, assures peace, joy and fairness. It is a devine power to give eternal life, to particularly release from the unjust rule of the world, to defeat the dominion of death, to melt a hardened heart and bring about hope in the thickest darkness.

The solemnity is to further reveal how the Kingdom of grace is never imposed but always respects our freedom, which is primarily the reason this feast was established by the church, as a "look upto leadership" for the world, better put as an exemplification of what and how leadership or kingship in particular should be like, all in accordance with the virtues of Jesus Christ, since his birth, through his sufferings, death and resurrection.

It is therefore a must as Christians today, being called to proclaim very loud the kingship and authority of Jesus Christ over the universe, to allow his very kingship and authority over us to command every aspect of our life. This can be true if our thoughts and actions are not left behind, and to accept and practice in faith all Christ like living virtues.

HE IS KING AND SHALL BE KING FOREVER.πŸ™ŒπŸ©ΈπŸ™Œ

THIRTY-THIRD SUNDAY OF THE YEAR B.

Today we celebrate the last Sunday before the Feast of Christ the king which marks the end of the Liturgical year that reminds us of the last things.

The church today, challenges us how important it is for us to remain faithful and prepared always. That we should not worry or fear as we wait for the coming of Christ but rather try to always render helping hands to the needy around us.

We've the challenge to also understand the signs of times.

Natural occurrences, practical and theoritical recessions and everyday life likes, should picture to us the short term life that we have, and it's vulnerability here on the earth, with the hope for our true destiny to be enjoyed in heaven.

We pray today that God should in His mercy, keep His words in our hearts and continue to grant our heart desires for the glory of his name. Amen!

Happy Sunday to you all.

THIRTY- SECOND SUNDAY OF THE YEAR

"A heart ready to love a heart (i.e. Christ) that shares its very life" is the only sacrifice that pleases the Lord God.

Today we learnt that letters to the Hebrews are of the context to convince people to leave their old ways for the new ways which contains messages of Christ as spoken through the prophets for salvation.

We are taught, that trust that pushes one to give his all without a second thought of how, and when to get back even for himself is what only a few can do, and that it is a privilege for all of us to fight being among that very few.

Also, that we should offer not only when we have enough, but even when we don't hope for another to replace that which has been given out, trusting that God will sustain us.

We learn also, that those who made sacrifices thus, not only did they receive blessings but their stories are told today and will continue for generations to come, signifying that, the good they did was not only to the immediate beneficiaries but as teachings to many who would learn to give with free hearts.

We pray the good Lord bless His words in our hearts, and grant that with faith, we too may share in the blessings of those who gave our their all as we continue to emulate them even in our endeavors. Amen!

Happy Sunday to you all, dear friends in Christ. ❀️
